Brighton Bed & Breakfasts

On the whole it is lovely, tad expensive as my room was tiny, and with a travel cot for my daughter too, there was no spare room. Breakfast was great and I would go there again.

Pleasant casual atmosphere. Clean, well lit room. Nice design. Pretty good breakfast. The windows in our room did not have any lock whatsoever. The maid left the windows open, which added to a feeling of insecurity. Anyone could have accessed our room through such windows from a balcony which ran along the front of the terrace. Breakfast time was accompanied by musak, which we didn't like. When we complained, however, the music was turned off when the other guests also agreed. The fire alarm went off at 4:00am, and no one was around to attend to it.

location perfect. good breakfast but you cant have any till 9 oclock, i had to be at a conference so I had to eat and be late or don't eat ... my room was to small to have a shower in it but that didnt matter as it didnt work properly and the room was so dirty i only slept there because i had no choice the place had never seen a hoover. There was dirt and dust everywhere , wall paper and paint peeling off the walls. Shared toilet was next to my room i heard everything and it smelt horrid.

Saw a show and Shopped

Very comfortable Parking was a real issue. We managed to find a parking space in the same road but were reluctant to move the car all w/end as there was little chance of finding another space. Traffic wardens were issuing tickets outside the hotel at 09:10 sunday morning.

Not good value for money, you can stay at the thislte hotel on the sea front for the same price and the breakfast was not good would be a better hotel if it was cheaper.

The location was very close to the city centre and the staff were hospitable and friendly. The room was small and whilst everything was provided it did not feel very good value for money, (£102 per night for two) but perhaps that is just Brighton for you.

There weren't any The room was dirty, there were huge cracks in the walls & celings, the room was in poor decorative order, the toilet roll holder was broken, there was only one pilow each, there was no where to put our luggage, the coat rack was filthy, they were extremely stingy with the toiletries, they forgot to put the clocks forward on sunday morning, tea toast and juice were rationed, the egg was burnt on the bottom but cold and snotty on the top! There was no bread with breakfast, the sausage (yes just one was mummified), the bacon was cold the tomato was raw underneath and in the middle, the beans were tepid, there was no manager on duty on sunday just one chap that didn't speak english and certainly couldn't cook - also there was nobody to hand the keys to all in all it made for a disappointing stay. Oh yes nearly forgot the bed was extremely small and fit only for midgets and not two fully grown adults! On a final note the keys for the front door were a bit dodgy - fire hazard

The staff were very accomodating and the stay was very enjoyable. The location was excellent and the rooms were nice. I would definately recommend it to others. The bed was small.

Clean room. Thermostat controlled radiator. Comfortable bed. Nice ensuite with good shower. Average breakfast. No wholemeal toast. No Earl Grey tea. No wardrobe in the bedroom - but adequate hanging space on the wall and behind the door for a short stay. Room cleaning appeared to have been done very quickly - basin wasn't cleaned and cups weren't washed. Forgot to replenish tea and milk. It was quite a noisy location and we were disturbed by 'revellers' both nights.

Staff were friendly, the location was ideal, in a quiet street leading down to the beach and pier, within easy walking distance of the coach stop. Breakfast offered the option of cereals or a cooked English, and the breakfast room was comfortable. The free wifi was fast and reliable. Room 4 was cramped with marks on the wall, presumably from guests scraping against it when trying to get in or out of bed. The digital TV had a limited selection of channels (no BBC1 or BBC2) and switched itself on, loudly, at 3am on our first morning.

The room was well laid out neat and clean. Teh water pressure in the shower was good! The guy cooking breakfast was convinced that everyone (including us) was coming down for breakfast at the pre-arranged time an hour early. However the clocks had moved forward that morning to Britsh Summer time.

Interesting and imaginatively themed decor complete with dvd and high quality tv flat-screen. Very convenient position within walking distance of all facilities. Inadequate shower and rather cramped for two average-sized people.
