The warmth and helpfulness of the staff. Beautiful view of the main cathedral right outside our window.
The wind and rain outside our window. We were grateful for the warm and dry room.
Where was located. Very close to city centre
Very old furniture and no coffee or tea in the room. I paid for breakfast and was no food at all in the hot containers.
Location, cleanliness, friendliness, value for money. Stayed here several times and never disappointed
Best place to stay in Bruges
Breakfast was amazing, staff very friedly and lobby very confortable. View from the bedroom very nice and location was really good.
The floor of the room and the toilet wasnt clean at all. Bed old and the head board bed not clean.
The location is perfect to visit Brugge.
We expected a 3-star room in this "3-star"hotel but we got a 2-star room at the most. We got a funny shapped room with the bed in a open space upstairs with a very steep stair. This space was so small that your partner had to crowl over you because the bed was placed with on side to a wall. In the livingroom there was a old and tired sofa full of funny stains. The funitre had a lot of scraped off paint. The whole room made a very worndown impression. In the frig we found a nice present from the people who stayed before us: a plastic bag with some salad. Overall the cleaning was very supreficial. At the first evening late we saw that there was no light wat so ever in the bathroom. We reported this the next morning, nothing was done till we rang the next evening. Then only the bulb above the bathroomsink was changed. The light in the showercabine could not be repaired at that time. The glass backwall of the shower was cracked and "repaired" with a kit. With the change for the towels we got one with a big hole in in. The last morning we had to get around some basckets at the the stairs with the linnenchange for that day, what would have happened if the there was a fire and we had to rush down the stairs?
