Builth Wells Hotels

Lovely breakfast and pleasant staff.We were only there for one night and didn't get to see much of our surroundings, but it seemed very nice and in a good location. I'd use it again if we were in the neighbourhood. Not very impressed at having to wait half-an-hour to gain admittance. We had notified the hotel that we would be arriving late and phoned the number on the door on arrival.

(1) Very nice room and bathroom. Very comfortable bed. (2) Fantastic location out of the main town but only 5 minutes out by car. (1). Only a basic evening meal menu provided on Monday and Tuesday - Full range menu provided all other nights. This unfortunately corresponded to our stay but this was not mentioned at the time of booking. (2). The main wireless network had apparently failed and it had been temporarily replaced by their daughters modem (I'm not sure about the dynamics of this), however, this "temporary" network was very, very weak and I could only access it by setting up right next to the kitchen wall in the restaurant. There was no coverage elsewhere.

We had a big room and the bathroom was great with the nice fancy shower and jakuzzi. We got lost on the way to the hotel.

We liked everything about this hotel. Location, comfort, friendlyness and most of all the food. We also liked the fact that our dogs could stay with us in our room, and they loved the walks in the woods!! To far to come as often as we would like as we are in Scotland.
