Friendly end helpful hotel staff. Quiet place. The internet connection had a very poor signal.

Location! Pleasant modern building, fitting well in the environment. Good standard elaborate breakfast buffet. Limited ventilation (window opens only partly) in the bedroom of our suite (room 21). This may be problematic in summer time. Bathroom was somewhat 'smelly'.

Situated conveniently between Nes and the beach. They did not clean the rooms properly, no cleaning of sheets for 5 days etc. Breakfast was poor and not tasty.

The swimming pool and the breakfast. The room was very basic. I expected a double bed, and instead found two uncomfortable single beds pushed together. During the night my partner moved towards me, in doing so the two beds moved apart and he fell in between the two beds. Not impressed!

The kindness of the staff was good en their information about the facilities of the island was complete. Nice to gain information.Further the hotel is situated in a nice village on a beautiful island where you can enjoy yourself with bicycling, walking and going to the beach! A short stay feels like al real holiday.

Beautiful lounge. Only possibility to have breakfast; no restaurant for dinner.

I liked the intimacy of the hotel. It was a basic hotel with friendly personnel. It must be stated that eventhough it was not a budget hotel, no extra frills were available.

Good service and staff; the price of the room wasn't worthy of the quality of the room.

A great, cosy family hotel, everything you need for a few nights stay on Ameland. Lovely living room with books, games and an open fire. Coffee and tea available at all times which is very nice. I would certainly stay here again.

excellent location in center of charming village of Hollum. bakery next door, bike rentals and many restaurants nearby, beaches and lighthouse, etc., a short bike ride away. friendly,helpful manager. rooms are modest but clean--ask for #1 or 2, which have balconies over a courtyard. a no-frills, very reasonable little hotel.
