comfortable room easy access, good choice of food and drink
Bar staff were friendly and close to town centre.moved to another room for second night with no issues, staff were very helpfulcheck what an
Small cabins outside are very small , no proper lighting , no mirror for female guests and people smoking outside the room.also ran out of food on the menu by 17.00.
Great location in the centre of town. Spacious room, good power shower and comfortable bed.
This is a pub with rooms not a hotel really. I thought the rooms I saw had a tired decor and needed some TLC. The £85 charge for the night I felt was expensive for 1 person but might be reasonable value for 2. There were no maps in the lobby where they had information leaflets for guests. Tea/coffee facilities were found on a shelf in the clothes wardrobe where there was no plug socket to plug in the kettle. No bar of soap at the sink or toiletries except a big bottle of liquid soap that was almost empty and another in the shower. Breakfast was disappointing. There was a table with a few boxes of cereal with a jug of milk but no yoghurts, fruit or juice. No vegan option for breakfast, so I ordered the vegetarian option minus eggs. The vegetarian fried breakfast came with the toast on the same plate with some pats of butter on the side. I was not asked whether I wanted brown or white toast, I was just given brown and when I asked for margarine, I was told there wasn't any. The veggie sausages collapsed into a mush when I put my fork in them and so I was left with some beans and mushrooms.
The location was superb...and the staff were very accommodating. Free parking was a bonus...we would definitely recommend the Bushel
Not enough plug sockets particularly by the bed. Bulb not working in lamp. Would be nice to be told on arrival what time and where is breakfast served.
