Casual, Home-Like Environment. Very friendly place. Wonderful base to visit Haute de Cagnes and the Castle area.
Access a bit difficult due to steep street. Taxi or free mini-bus is best, avoiding the uphill walk. (Bus stops about 1-2 blocks above hotel).
Location, athmosphere, the villa was beatiful
Maybe a little expensive for one person. I would have liked to lock the room.
This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. We were made very welcome from the outset and it really was a home from home.
It is rather difficult loading and unloading the car due to the narrowness of the road but Sonia was extremely kind and helpful so it wasn't too bad.
Nice old building, close to the old town. A friendly bed-and -breakfast. Nice view from the old courtyard.
From the too small parking to the hotel there is a nice staircase with 80 steps. It is almost impossible to find the hotel. Very moderate breakfast. No lock on the room “it is under family”? If something has disappeared will we then still under family?
At the heart of the French Riviera, nestled between Nice and Cannes, stands the medieval village of Haut-de-Cagnes, a heritage site classed Monument of France.Close to the Grimaldi Castle Museum, you'll find an inn in the 14th century, which has been beautifully transformed into a chic guest house, charming and elegant. If you are looking for authenticity, you will definitely be impressed by the patina of age on the old stones, the shade of narrow streets full of flowers and workshops by local artists. The Mediterranean garden is surrounded by palms and orange trees, bougainvillea and oleander trees in flower six months of the year. In the common areas of the guest house, a subtle blend of valuables and contemporary art.
