Pros. The staff was so helpful. My elderly mother is my caregiver, and the desk clerk when we arrived, and the house staff when we left, helped her get my wheelchair on and off the car carrier and the bags where they needed to be. Everyone was curteous and friendly. The first thing I noticed in the room was the pride taken in its cleanliness and aesthetics. It's an older building, but we'll cared for. Although it was not specifically a wheelchair accessible room, I still had enough space to get around. My mother and I were going to a show at the casino, so chose it for its proximity. We did not know there was a shuttle with wheelchair access. That was awesome. There were some loud folks celebrating in nearby rooms, but none of that came through the walls. It made for a very good night sleep on the comfortable beds. There is an indoor pool, as well. Another thing I didn't know when we booked. If we get the chance to go to another show at the casino, I'm definitely staying there.
Cons. The pool was in the process of having the cleaning system changed from salt to chlorine. It was closed for our short stay. Although a pool with chlorine us so much better than no pool at all, I wish they had kept it salt, in case I do stay again. Either way, not being able to use it was a disappointment, but it was just bad timing.
