we were upgraded to the King bed Jacuzzi suite, because it was our honeymoon. very nice of them. very nice room.
staff, cleanliness, parking
breakfast (terrible sausages, if they were sausages, no coffee on the coffee corner had to call somebody to bring more coffee), noise on the walkways by night (people talking, slamming doors like a hell).
Spacious suite like
Asked for king bed got queen
The location was excellent, so close to everything, and FREE parking. Also the bed, bedding and pillows were the best I've ever had. I've stayed at 5 star resorts that didn't have bedding as nice as this. Seriously.
Nice size room with a lounge area
No paper cups for am coffee
Good location. Just outside of the downtown area which means that there was onsite free parking. Just a few blocks from 17th Avenue and all its stores and restaurants.
Clean, large room in a central location. Also, good breakfast and free parking.
Hotel located across the street from very loud club. Our room (front facing and on a low level) was noisy till 3am so we didn't sleep very well.
Location to commercial/bus line transportation.
Lots of space, couch, kitchenette made for a very well equipped room. Awesome free breakfast in the morning.
The location is very central in you're just walking distance from the night live, what was very handy for us.
The breakfast room is a disaster! Way to hot and way to small for the amount of guests. Also you get paper plates and plastic cutlery served, what doesn't make you feel welcome. You have to eat in shifts as there is not enough room for everyone.
Excellent and accommodating staff. Location was good for my purpose.
Can use an upgrade in lobby, and rooms.
Location and the size of the room.
None in specific.
The complimentary breakfast was very good.
Having to pay $25 for extra bedding for the pull-out bed.
Nice very spacious room. Free secured parking, good breAkfast. Super stay at this hotel.
A little further away from downtown mall than expected but with car in 10 minutes reeach. Parking cost is not much in Calgary.
Washroom was not good fan was not working properly kitchen stove was not good
All of the factors above, and great value for the money.
Only one utterly trivial criticism: the closets could use a few more coat-hangers!
1) made a mistake in taxi reservation which made me late to a meeting 2) security/managment failed to deal with a noisey neighbor at 1:00 AM
location, large room, breakfast was good but it could of used more variety
Took minutes for hot water, sometime it never got hot. Had a balcony, but the door was permanently closed. Walls are thin - was woken up twice by casual conversations in the hall. Asked for a different kind of pillow - thinner - it never came
Free underground enclosed parking, free wifi, and I liked that the key card was required to access the elevator.
No restaurant, very dated common spaces, despite claim of recently renovated, broken mircowave in room, heater in room didn't work very well
location and underground parking
not very sound proof - I was woken up about 4 times though the night as other guests walked through the hallways talking loudly
No wifi internet during nights and staff is very rude.
Breakfast food selection was great! Second and Third rooms were good!
They have a policy of putting 'priceline guests on the 2nd floor'. We were put there the first night and its similar to a very poor quality motel 6. Small beds, old, musty and moldy smell and very noisy. They did move us next day
The 2 room suite was quite large.
I would not consider this downtown Calgary. I think Priceline should adjust this.
Good uptown location, very close to 17th ave and a lot of shops
Parking was very limited, and underground was closed at the time of my stay. No other altenrative besides street parking
it was open
Very generous to consider this 'downtown' as advertised; it is a very basic hotel - but with kitchenette; felt compelled to check v carefully for bugs and the like. Didn't find, but...; Good example of the risk of Priceline in towns w fewer hotels;
Its in downtown
Breakfast and parking
Floor was sticky, duvet was old and dirty, dirty carpet. I was wearing shorts and my legs were so itchy all night! Underground parking was smoggy and the damage from the flood was obvious.
very very dirty breakfast area..hotel seems to be going downhill I was also lying on my bed in my underwear at 10 pm at night and someone walks right into my room (they checked into my room another person)..at 10 pm at night when i was on the bed.
It's in the heart of city centre with free parking.
Customer service sucks; inferior/unsafe facilities; cleanliness is poor. Not a family-friendly hotel.
The staff was extremely rude, took xxxx out of my account, without my permission.
Towels in the room were dirty. Coffee machine did not work. Lights burnt out. Staff were not friendly.
There was lots of construction updating, but the rooms were nice and the hotel staff were friendly. Breakfast selection needs to be improved
Hotel is a good 7 blocks from downtown city center. Hotel is close to supermarket and eateries if you need something fast. Room and facility is clean and safe. Will stay here again. The staff is helpful.
Hotel is within walking distance to downtown, good exercise for one who drives most of the time. Breakfast is excellent. Overall quality and service at this hotel is satisfying. WIll defintely recommend this hotel to travellers visiting Calgary
We were very impressed with the professionalism and care of the staff at this hotel. We received prompt service for all of our requests. The rooms were clean and newly renovated. This hotel offers a complimentary breakfast every morning in a beautiful dining room. This feature was not included in the AARP notes about the hotel and it turned out to be a very pleasant surprise for us.
