Guests can take part in snorkeling, parasailing, surfing, golfing, windsurfing, sailing, beach volleyball, scuba diving, kayaking, and tennis. The beach has many activities set up on it daily, and there is always a schedule of events posted for guests to see daily.

Guests can dine on-site at the restaurants at the resort, including Albatros, Gaviotas, Shangri-la, Maria Margarita, Frida, Snack Bar, and Sports Bar.

We liked most everything- both facilities, location and especially staff were excellent and very accommodating. Lots of loungers and with the 3/4 pools and the ocean there was no competition for seating.

The food was just ok - not fantastic - could be improved. Also, the food and drinks could have been better. The Mexican restaurant was good, the Asian one was bad, the gourmet was okay, but the service was awful. Lastly, the buffet was best for breakfast, but for lunch and dinner, the food was meh and always the same.

All inclusive meant all inclusive. No fine print on the limitations. Even the mini bar was inclusive and replenished every few days. The property was clean, recently renovated, and right on the beach.

Due to the hotel's popularity, it's advisable to book rooms well in advance, especially if specific room preferences are desired.

While the main restaurant offers plenty of options, some guests found the specialty restaurants to be underwhelming, so sticking to the main restaurant for meals may be a safer choice.

Some guests recommended requesting rooms with beachfront views to fully enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

The hotel experiences peak seasons, so planning visits during less busy periods, such as September, could result in a more relaxed stay.

Despite some negative experiences, guests with Genius status mentioned receiving room upgrades, so it may be worth inquiring about this option.
