The reception staff were courteous and helpful. The room and common areas were very comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast was substantial.
A bit out of town but hotel laid on free courtesy minibus in and out of town on request. Barletta is a very nice town to visit. pool closed
Ease of access to both City and Road network/Motorway.Restaurant service was typically Italian and excellant. Swimming pool advertised is non existant. It has not been built yet. We were offered a free half hour, against booking, slot in the spa jacuzzi in lieu. This was not taken up as we did not think it compared..
Very comfortable hotel and facilities. The triple room I've offered was ensured just by two sets of towels and although I'd asked the staff for a thitd set, we have not received any.
nothing special the location; long distance from the city center and the beach
The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast buffet pretty good for italian standards. we had dinner at the hotel restaurant, they served huge plates, it was tasty and the waiters were very kind. The walk to barletta takes 5-10 minutes you can shorten it up through the beautiful park and are right in the heart of barletta's old city. Our car was parked outside the hotel. i think it is pretty safe to leave it there and not pay for the extra parking as the police station is the building right next to it. Internet access was working good - if you are in the 3rd etage Wifi slows down a bit - but you can ask for a cable at the reception. Directly across the street are the beaches, one umbrella next to the other - the privat ones are quite clean but the public beach was dirty. we tried the beaches on the other side of barletta - same dirt, margharita di savoia (15min. by car) not better. maybe they dont clean it up because it was after-season but we could not stay there so we had to drive daily to Mattinata (90Min) in the Gargano area where the most beautiful beaches are.
Comfort and quiteness, very close to the beach not a very new building/structure but it worth the money
Ideally located beside the beach very clean and comfortable, staff very freindly and helpful. Too far away from town centre & railway station, need transport.
Excellent value for the money. Definitely deserves 4 stars rating. Beach is just across the street. Walk to historic city centre takes appr. 15min. Car parking available. Highly recommendable. No international TV channels.
Nothing special, good standard
very friendly and helpful staff , the food was very good No
hotel staff were very helpfull, location for the beech excellent and close enought to the centre. would have liked somewhere to sit outside in the sun, although it october it was still warm but the pool had been drained and all the sun loungers put away.
Very large, well decorated and fitted, clean room, with excellent bathroom and balcony. Pool was very good, but a bit cold in mid September. Breakfast was ok, nothing special but adequate and restaurant was high quality. Staff were friendly, beach was a bit dirty and loungers were expensive so we used the pool. Location was great, on sea front but only 400 yards from town of Barletta, with restaurants and bars. Good place to chill for a few days or use as a base for touring.
I liked approximity to the beach, spacious interiors and approximity to the center of Barletta old town. Staff speaks little English but they tried to cope with all questions and requirements. The room and balcony was fine as regards the size but the interior decor was lost in time - a bit outdated; however, very clean. Bathroom was nice and clean as well, but had no little shampoo; which was a surprise for a 4*hotel.
The prime location across from the beach, free parking a plus, and the price. The breakfast was also good and the free Wi-Fi internet service. The front desk personnel were also very friendly. The perfect place to spend the weekend at the beach. There was also a very good restaurant near by, it was not very cheap but worth it. One could hear the people next door, nothing big unless they were very noisy.
Good quality for a fair price. Personnel is fair and obliging. The room where we stayed had balcony, but there was annoying noise all the time, comming from the neighboring hotel Ill Brigantino swimming pool (a very noisy pump or filtration system) which made staying on the balony very unpleasant. There was nearly nothing from bio-food as breakfast food portfolio available.
We chose to stay in Barletta because it provided a break in the long drive down the ... The Nicotel seemed a reasonable property perhaps a bit too far from town. It turns out to be a very sweet place and the location is much more convenient than I expected. Just outside of town, a short way beyond the castle. The amenities are very fine - a desk, a small table & charis in the room, and another small table & chairs on the balcony. In the bathroom there was a tub with ample room and a makeup mirror. The reception staff had reasonable English skills, some better than others - all had stonger English skills than I do Italian skills. As with so many hotels in Italy, it could use a few more outlets to allow charging computers and camera batteries. The shower head needed some work (it wouldn't stay in place), but I reported this and I think they will fix it.
Comfort, cleanliness and layout of very spacious accommodation. Excellent buffet breakfast. Pleasant hotel staff. Secure parking. View from first floor terrace. Only 2 night stay - we came to Barletta for a family wedding, wish it could have been longer.
This is a good hotel. Clean friendly, secure parking, The rooms have plenty of space and the beds are are really comfortable. The breakfast was lovely with a good range of continental options. I would definitely stay here again.
Position of hotel was excellent. Right opposite a nice beach. No swimming pool . Not easy to get to an area for relaxing.
Everything was pretty good although the bar seemed to shut early
Parking, park, location, big rooms with big balcony. Very poor breakfast.
People at the front desk Lot of noise coming from other rooms. Internet was not working in the room.
the area is close to the airport, but not really accesable if you are not by car. Ideal if traveling to italy through Bari airport and need a comfortable over night stay. The breakfast was very good too.
The B&B is nice inside. Not particularly easy to reach (in the very center of a small town, full of one way streets), needs an updated navigation system not to mess up with the possible one-way street changes. Aircon system not very powerful although this can be a problem only in very hot periods (July and August)
