very nice view on the Mourne. Very quiet place room was a little bit humide
I enjoyed the view of the Moountains and the quiet location. The bedroom was pleasantly decorated and very comfortable.
Our room was lovely & warm when we arrived at 4.30 pm . As it was mid october, this was much appreciated... very nice dining room overlooking fields with sheep in them & birds feeding in the garden.
The setting of the B&B was idyllic, the staff very friendly, the room spacious and comfortable and the food hearty. Well worth the stay.
Very relaxed atmosphere, comfortable room and friendly owners. Excellent views of countryside/mountains and nice breakfast.
All V. satisfactory
Really an enjoyable stay and staff were excellent
Nice Hotel, efficient staff, no problems.
Asked for quiet room as we had an early start, and reception was very helpful in organising same as hotel was very full - with young people!!! Usually get Family/King room. Had to sacrifice that for the 'quiet' area, as room was really small. However, we did get the quiet that we requested, so top marks again!
Staff were very friendly & accomadating - Room was clean , not 2 warm & very comfortable
Check-in staff not particularly friendly. Had bar meal, burhger for Mike, chicken curry for me. Presentation poor, missing salad and raita/peanuts. Curry had been made from already cooked chicken, small pieces with a lot of leg meat, no flavour in chicken although sauce was tasty. Kept me up most of night, reception confirmed not made from fresh chicken for quickness sake. Felt ill for 2 days.
rooms were clean and spacious
The staff were extremely friendly and very attentive. In the details of the Hotel it said it was a few minutes walk from the centre ? having booked with this in mind we found on arrival it was certainly more that that to walk into the centre , it was a 10 minute walk to the nearest bus stop and the last bus was at 6.30 ! as my elderly mother was with us this was not possible to do !
Beds were lovely and room very clean and comfortable Bath towels were very small in bathroom and seemed very worn as though they had been used a lot.
Great rooms. Friendly staff and even though there was an event happening in the hotel the lobby and bar were still quiet. rooms need more towels!
I stayed in Crowne Plaza hotel for one night only,.butr the money I paid,I could not expect more. The room was confortable, clean, satff helpful. We got amazing self service breakfast.I definatly will come back there again.
Our stay at the hotel was for a family wedding and it was very enjoyable. Their was a friendly welcoming atmosphere and the staff were very helpful. Two members of the party have vision problems. The room were lovely but quite dark and the signage is not very clear.
Politeness of the staff
The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The open fire in the reception was lovely, especially given the snowy weather conditions. Did not like that acccess to the room was so far away from entrance lobby. Also, quite nosy during the night.
Our bedroom was over kitchen and all could hear was the banging of the swing doors which woke us at 7am but they did change our room after we told them
Friendly, beautyfully clean ,and new After 120 mile drive went for a meal in hotel, went to room to relax in the jacuzzi filled to required dept pressed button it did not work one button was in position but broken went to bed disappointed. Note room 621.
The Spa was very good. Also large portions for meals, and very good value Got lost getting there. The grid reference co-ordintes given are incorrect, and in Ireland where sometimes street names are not always available on sat navs, and there is no post code system, important to get this right.
Excellent staff and food. Room was not ready on time. Poor water pressure in shower.
friendly staff, nice clean bedrooms
the food, and comfy spacious rooms
The owners were very welcoming, friendly and informative. They evan left out a substantial packed meal as I was leaving early for the ferry in Belfast and could not attend breakfast. The rooms were large with all usual facilities and the beds very comfortable. Enjoyed my very brief stay and will both recommend and return.
Location Town Center Noise from night club and in the street when it closed
Location is great. No handle on ourside of the door which made it fairly unsafe when closing the door. Needed to put the key in first to pull shut. Mix up also on room bookings.
location to centre of town the windows arent seeled properly room cold water in shower took long time to heat up.
The noise from the night club was terrible and lasted well into the night, despite asking to be as far away from noise as possible our room was situated directly over the smoking room off the night club.l
Incorrect information provided re restaurant hours, as a result we missed dinner. Hours in leisure centre very limited and also incorrect in info supplied. Receptionist/duty manager's response was totally inadequate and non-customer focused.
Receptionist friendly and helpful Old-fashioned rooms. Clean but could do with a makeover
Nice budget hotel in a great location.
Stayed for 1 night for enroute hotel stop-over, arriving late and leaving early. Room was quite, comfortable and clean, with tea and coffee making facilities. Didn't have time to use/sample other facilities at the hotel. Good value and hotel is located in town centre near bars, restaurants, sites and shopping. Provision of wi-fi in the bedroom would have been a useful benefit of the hotel.
very central clean value for money loud music couldnt get asleep
Location, Cafe ,Bed, Friendly, Unpretentious. Room at nice temperature. Room becoming worn, but clean and comfortable.
