The Days Inn is conveniently located in a wooded setting off Interstate 70 between St. Louis and Indianapolis and is a perfect stop if traveling to Branson. This Casey hotel is located five miles from the Lincoln Trail Motocross and is close to popular attractions like Fairview Park, the Casey Country Club, the annual Labor Day Popcorn Festival, Mill Creek Park and Eastern Illinois University. There are a variety of restaurants and cocktail lounges within walking distance. The hotel is less than two miles from Richards Farm Restaurant. Other area restaurants include Hardees, KFC, Pizza Hut and the VFW. Guests of this Casey hotel will enjoy the guest laundry services. Pros:Great breakfast, comfortable beds
Cons:No smoking room smelled like smoke. I was able to get a different room, but would have been very upset if I hadn't. You need to make it a non-smoking hotel if you can't keep the smoke from migrating. Also, something sticky was on top of my desk surface - it wasn't thoroughly cleaned.
Pros:The bed was comfortable
Cons:I was very disappointed with this hotel! They advertise free wifi and could not get a connection the whole time I was there! They also advertise a pool and my daughter brought her swimsuit excited to swim and it was closed. When I asked about it I was told it was most likely out of commission for good due to a crack in the bottom of the pool. Couldn't make any phone calls inside the hotel and had to go outside and then most calls are dropped due to bad reception I assume. We were with a handicapped person and they had no handicap rooms with double beds and no elevator and put us on the second floor. He had a very hard time and almost fell down the stairs and we had to carch him. The rooms were clean for the most part but the carpets are very dirty and dingy and need replaced. Beds were clean and comfortable. Free breakfast was nice but ended early. It ends at 9 where most places end at 10 or 11.
