Pros: We recommend very much. Calm place. The restaurant is also nearby.
Cons: Nothing, everything was super!
Pros: Everyting is perfect !!!
Pros: Staff excellent. Close to an excellent restaurant. 2 min from Terme
Pros: It was beautifully clean & the decore was charming & very origional. The owner had obviously taken a lot of trouble to create a very unique relaxing home-from-home. She was also VERY helpful & kindly provided us with an extra sofa bed, at no extra cost, as we had three children with us. The position is ideal for visiting Catez Terme & is close to the motorway.
Cons: The name of the structure is a little miss- leading - as B&B in English is short for Bed & Breakfast, but breakfast was not included in the price. However guests at Life&Energy could get discounted breakfast at a hotel close by.
Pros: Extremely clean, modern and big apartment....equipped with everything a traveller would need. Very warm and welcoming owner. Private, free parking available in front of the apartment.
Pros: Very nice owner, the rooms were clean and comfortable, good lccation - easy to find.
Pros: Host was very kind. The apartment is beautiful and very stylish, got everything you need. Quite place, free parking and Wi-Fi, comfortable bed. Morning coffee with bird song in background is priceless. Will visit again definitely.
Cons: Everything was just perfect.
Pros: Everything is perfect!
Pros: Very friendly owner, the room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom with a big shower. Great breakfast.
Pros: A very particular style, warm, relaxing and confortable; the kindness and patience of the owner, Andreja; the silent and green enviroment; the Restaurant just nearby, that offer good tasting cooking with a good relationship quality/price, other than breakfast in the morning and touristic informations (here tickets for the baths can be bought at a convenient price). The amazing baths (sommer and winter Riviera) are just 4 minutes away by car.

The Medieval Otocec Castle, a 30-minute car ride away, dates back to 1252 and is situated in the picturesque lush region of Dolenjska, famous for its rivers, valleys, forests and vineyards. The Dobova train station is right opposite the Hotel Paradiso. The Croatian capital Zagreb can be reached within 25 km.
Cons: Everything was great except construction work early in the morning that woke us up.
Pros: The breakfast was good, but coffee must be improved.
Pros: We have been coming to this place for years, and it is great to see they are improving on a lot of things. New restaurant is very nice and food selection for breakfast is great.
Cons: We didn't kine that SPA payment is separated from the hotel payment, as we like to combine our bills. This does not make too much sense. Also, there are very limited SPA booking slots, as place is apparently popular with the locals.
Pros: Friendliest check-in ever! Very nice new room with big shower and comfortable bed. Nice pool area with hot thermal water Good breakfast Close to Zagreb
Pros: Access to the swimming pool
Cons: The shower looked very fancy, but several features were not available or broken
Pros: Nice big room, comfortable bed. Swimming pool feed by thermal water was nice. This was just a stopover for us after a long days drive and it was perfect fine for that purpose.
Cons: There was nothing wrong with this hotel but it just didn’t live up to a four star rating when compared to others we have used. It was clean and comfortable and the room was large. I can’t totally put my finger on what it was, the checkin was good, but the pool staff were not very helpful. The room was large and comfortable but felt more like a chain highway hotel than a four star resort. Breakfast was fairly standard but the cooked food was oily.
Pros: Great staff, excellent breakfast, perfect parking lot. Amazing room and bathroom - big, modern, clean comfortable. Splendid pool and aqua facilities, especially for children.
Cons: Nothing to do or see outside of the property. Pools too crowded with outside visitors.
Cons: No grocery nearby
Pros: Good place to swim and chill. Breakfast was epic and the rooms (replete with a hot tub) huge.

Pros: Very good location, close to Therme.
Cons: There is a bridge close to hotel, all trucks during night like a drum, better use air-condition and close the window.
Cons: Some times the smoking was a bit annoying. But I’m a nonsmoker.
Pros: We were only on trespassing. Beautiful place on excellent location. Stuff is very pleasant and kind.
Cons: They made some mistakes with the reservation.
Pros: Nice old house, good location and large clean room.
Cons: Weak wifi
Pros: Great apartment for our family. Exceptional service!
Pros: The restaurant, the hotel, the location.
Pros: Everything was really clean and cozy. Staff was very nice and friendly.
Pros: Very clean, comfortable and convenient. Staff extra polite and professional. We will definitely come again.
Pros: Friendly staff Good food Clean room
Cons: The mattress could be softer they are old.
Pros: Warm and friendly atmosphere.
Pros: Lovely staff, excellent location and fantastic food. The meal was really the best Slovenian food we had all trip.
Pros: Breakfast was excellent! The quality of the food and drinks was superior! Thanks!
Cons: The room was good but still there is an opportunity to improve the quality of the pillows and the matrices.
Pros: Suernice staff! Excellent food!
Pros: The hotel is small and quiet. The rooms are clean and well-equipped. Kind staff. Excellent cuisine and staff can offer and advise on food. Great desserts.
Pros: Perfect location. Very friendly staff. Nice restaurant/pub.
Pros: Excellent staff, food, and location. After a biking accident and a longer than planned stay we were treated very well.
Pros: Good small hotel, clean rooms, very comfortable. In the first floor there is a restaurant. Very good cuisine, waiters are very nice. Good breakfast. Free parking. The place is quite. We choose this hotel when we went to Terme Catez.
Cons: Please be advised that on Sundays the restaurant work till 20.00, and if you want to eat you need to drive to another place about 2-3km.
Pros: Nice and warm welcome, pleasent stuff and good breakfest.
Cons: TV in sleeping room is missing.

Pros: They were amazingly patient and polite as we arrived very late without being able to let them know we were going to be so late. They were extremely welcoming - it felt more like we were being welcomed into someone’s home rather than an anonymous hotel chain. We can’t thank them enough. Breakfast was yummy!
Pros: Very kind hosts. If I have an option I'll stay at their property again.
Pros: A family owned and operated Hotel/Gostlina in a quiet location, just what we were looking for. Food was 'top shelf' and we were spoiled by Magdalena, Bojan and son Benjamin.
Cons: We couldn't fault the place but we have a wee story regarding the booking. I booked through Booking Com and typed in Jesenice, assuming i was booking in the town of Jesenice in the North of Slovenia close to Lake Bled (had been there before) however after getting off the train at 6pm we discovered no one had heard of the Magdalena in Jesenice (north) but suggested we were 200km away from the other Jesenice na Dolenjskem in the South of Slovenia , close to Zegrab. so two hours and 200 Euro taxi fare later we had arrived at our lodgings. (what country has two towns of the same name?). Anyway we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 'Magdalena' and loved the surrounding countryside.
Pros: The bedroom and wifi were reasonably good
Cons: The bathroom was old fashioned & too much small for the paid price. Also breakfast was very disappointing , no selection at all only scrambled egg , bread , tomatoes & ham. Worst breakfast every had in all our traveling experiences.
Pros: Really nice family run hotel.

Pros: Staff is friendly, location is ok.
Cons: For that price not much. No warm-water pool.
Pros: Absolutely comfortable and spacious room, same for the bathroom. Super clean. Great staff, tasty food. Indoor and outdoor swimming pool and sauna, surrounded by nature.
Pros: The hotel rooms are great, with very comfortable beds! The indoor pool is amazing and warm. I had a great stay here. The breakfast was great with many things to choose from like pancakes or omlets.. I highly recommend this hotel for a enjoyable and relaxing stay!
Pros: good stuff.
Cons: very old hotel. nothing to do after 21pm.
Pros: Everything was excellent, I recommend staying at this facility.
Cons: My 3years old son got infection from water in the poll. They didnt clean it enought and I am so disapointed that we paid hotel to come back to home with this bad infection of his bladder with high temperature.
Pros: Good location to enjoy the thermes of Catez. Hotel could benefit from some investment to update the facilities, but is conveniently located.
Cons: We missed having access to family rooms, what forced us to book 2 rooms. We would recommend the hotel to make more rooms available for groups of 2 parents and two kids under the age of 10. This is normal practice in many other hotels and reduces the cost of staying at the hotel.
Pros: Clean with a good spacious room
Cons: Need to walk through outside aqua park. Need to be better arrange connection.
Pros: Really nice hotel and spa center A+++
Pros: Mussel served for the dinner
Cons: SPA service (massage) was really so bad even terrible
When you stay at MC Hostel Brezice in Brezice, you'll be 3 minutes by foot from Brezice Castle. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: it is very clean, spacious and modern hostel. Facilities are more then sufficient. There is also bar at the area of the hostel as well as plenty of space for parking the car.Staff is very firendly and helpful and near the hostel there is small old town with big castle.
Cons: nothing really
Pros: Kindness of staff
Pros: Reception staff were very friendly. Quiet hostel.
Cons: Having the toilets on another floor meant you had to think ahead!
Cons: There's hand soap missing in the bathroom.
Pros: Good room enough for 2 people, big cupboard, air conditioning. It was quiet in the night, but we were alone on the floor. It's possible to wash clothes for extra payment. Great idea to name all rooms by animals :)
Cons: It was said in the confirmation letter that towels are included, but it turned out that we can have them for extra payment. The common shower is rather old, with small cabins and mold.
Pros: Everything was great! Really helpfull staff, room was clean and really comfortable bed. Also nice kitchen/living room area and gym! :)
Pros: It’s an impressive building but needs some money spending on it as it’s very tired. The staff are friendly. Good view.
Cons: No fan or aircon so very hot in the summer. The hairdryer was broken in our room.
Pros: We spent the Easter holidays at Mokrice Castle, mainly for sightseeing as there are a number of picturesque castles and monasteries in the area (e.g. Grad Rajhenburg, Sevnica, Bresize and Podsreda). Staff was very friendly and helpful, the castle itself is a medieval jewel with a unique atmosphere, surrounded by a huge park also used as a golf course. Breakfast and dinner (a-la-carte) was very good, except for the coffee and jam at the breakfast buffet (but there is plenty of other good food so you won't have to go away hungry). An additional plus which we did not use however, is that you have free entry at the Therme Catez which is approx. 7 km away from the castle.
Cons: The interior is well fitting for a medieval castle. However, some of the furniture in our room definitely has seen better days (e.g. the lamp shade), but overall it was a comfortable, large room and clean. The restaurant is excellent, but not cheap (we spent as much in the restaurant as we did for the room).
Pros: It's proximity to the motorway and the fact that its a 1400's castle.
Cons: The only people who could believe this is a 4 star hotel are the owners. We arrived before midnight to find 1x light bulb on, it was actually impossible to see the castle let alone it's entrance, but fortunately a vast bridge from the car park limited our guesswork. As many reviews say it is certainly in desperate need of renovations and although an impressive building with large bedrooms, the reality is that it is 2 star quality. Breakfast was generally about as old as the castle itself, well worth skipping.
Pros: Grand old building, rather faded but it is being lovingly cared for and very tastefully presented. The restaurant kindly made us a sandwich when we wanted a snack without insisting we chose from the menu.
Cons: We hadn’t fully read our confirmation which explained we could have had dinner for €20. A helpful leaflet perhaps in reception or in the room, explaining the offers would have been good.
Pros: A super stylish place with great atmosphere, with scenic surroundings. An extraordinary nice place to be, a pity I used it just for a night during a biz trip. Very friendly people, and a superb breakfast buffet.
Cons: There was nothing that I did not like, as simple as that!
Pros: Excellent location, it is an awesome structure for people that are looking for a romantic and relaxed place.
Cons: For people that are traveling for business wifi is fundamental. Quality of it inside the castle was poor.
Cons: Very old and cheap looking for this money.
Pros: We enjoyed staying in a castle with history! The staff were polite & friendly. We loved the marble floors & stairs. The restaurant in the tower was impressive & had stunning views of the countryside. The evening meal & breakfast were delicious. A nice selection of teas at breakfast. Secure parking for my motorcycle, I was allowed to park it in a secluded corner of the courtyard.
Cons: The WiFi a little erratic but I was in a castle so what did I expect?!
Cons: The Internet is only available nearby reception area, not in the entire hotel.
Pros: Hotel was clean and they serve tasty fresh cooked food. The staff is very friendly and does everything to please you.
Cons: Far from city (2 km) with no alternative of transport.the problem was solved by a young lady from the main desk who offered to drive me to the city and she even came to pick me up after few hours.
Pros: The staff is very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious!
Pros: Nice place to make a stop after a long trip. There is a parking, the rooms are quiet, hot and very clean. The host was friendly and helpful. It's not the first time when we sleep there and for sure not the last one.
Pros: The excellent service provided.
Cons: It is not a 4 star hotel
Pros: Perfect for a one night stay, right next to the highway. The room was clean and comfy and the breakfast was good. Staff was very pleasant!
Cons: Shower was a bit small
Cons: Electricity installation was braking when you try to charge your smartphone..
Pros: The location.
Cons: No electricity.
Pros: Young girl on reception was very helpful and friendly
Cons: No coffee/tea fascilities in the room. Breakfast not the best.
Pros: The hotel ideal for overnight stay because it is very close to the motorway. Staff was friendly. Room and breakfast was O.K. Great value for money.

Pros: Cable tv. It is near the highway...
Cons: It was dirty as hell!!! We didn't use the toilet because it was not cleaned in, what it looks like, a couple of years. There were some pills under the bed, a CD and a torn off collar... Wifi DID NOT WORK. View was bad. Too many spiders in room. Dust all over...
Pros: The guesthouse is on the high way which is very good if you are looking for a place to rest in the middle of a drive, it is two minutes drive from terme catze. and it has a great restaurant downstairs and a very nice view to the river.
Pros: The staff were lovely and most helpful. The breakfasts were good and we had two evening meals there which we enjoyed. The location is pleasant beside the river, and even though there is a busy road nearby, the property is quiet at night.
Cons: The mattresses were rather too hard for our liking.
Pros: Hosts are really kind
Cons: By the river
Pros: Good position, near road for travellers in a hurrry, Nice staff, good bar.
Cons: Old furniture in the room,
Pros: The river is quietly beautiful surroundings
Cons: Noisy environment from the highway
Pros: The view form terrace is fantastic. You can see two rivers at the same time. Personal's hospitality is at high level. Clean room. It is very close to nearest town, and the local spa, which is great.
Cons: Signal strength of free WiFi in our room was very poor, but outside the hotel it was very good and very fast.
Pros: There are good and bad points of the location of this inn. The good points are that it is situated in a small village right next to the River Sava. There is a very nice walk up to St. Vid's Church, which takes about an hour from the inn. The other plus point is the food. Breakfast was very good and my evening meals were excellent on both nights. Otherwise it is really difficult to find a decent restaurant in such a small town.
Cons: The location is somewhat inconvenient when arriving by train. The station is outside town to the north and the inn out of town to the south, so it is better to take a taxi. The location of the inn is next to the main Zagreb to Ljublana expressway, so there is traffic noise. Also there was a motorcycle event next to the inn on the first day, so lots of noise of bikes revving up.
