Pros: Huge room, great.
Cons: Nothing. Wish I was still there.
7.4 Good
Pros: Location is great
Cons: For the price, it is surprising that you have to pay extra for parking and extra for breakfast. ($15 each, adding $30 total)
5.4 Okay
Pros: Good location.
Cons: We unfortunately experience a disruption on Saturday, June 18th with the room beside ours and kept us up all night - I reported it to the front desk and nothing was resolved and/or addressed.
3.7 Mediocre
Cons: Gouges guest for parking. No working ice machine. And cleaning staff cleaned my room 2 times despite my sign being up and me telling the desk to NOT have them come in. I had important papers in there. No safe available. Charged my kid 7$ for a hot pocket. Just overall not a good stay.

6.5 Good
Pros: Staff, cleanliness.
Cons: Elevators sluggish. Room cramped. Seating uncomfortable. No safe in the room.
4.2 Okay
Cons: Sink bowl was broken. Air conditioner compressor (outside window) was short-cycling (on for 10 seconds, off for 20 seconds) all night every night....even though we had the in-room unit off (In room unit was very noisy).
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful
Cons: Small ants in room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms, nicely decorated and appointed. Plenty of room to relax.
5.4 Okay
Pros: (1) Good location (2) Spacious plan (3) Courteous front desk
Cons: I had booked three rooms for an overnight stay on July 4. Following issues were observed: (1) Toilet had water stains (indicative of no cleaning for very long time). (2) The bath room door did not lock from inside (3) At least one light switch did not work (4) Kids went to pool and came back complaining it wasn't clean (5) Absolute worse ... strong odor of smoke in 4th floor corridor. Make our eyes tear. I called front desk; they confirmed that entire facility was non-smoking facility. The smell was well entrenched. The staff did something at night to lessen the effect in the morning. (6) Bathroom curtains and fixtures indicate serious need for upgrade. In summary, I booked it based on Marriott name and was thoroughly disappointed to find these many issues in one place.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was incredible!! Very nice accommodations, nice gym, over the top breakfast, and the staff was outstanding!! I was thoroughly impressed by the whole package, and will definitely be back!
Cons: No negative comments!
5.3 Okay
Pros: Location was great if traveling into the D.C area.
Cons: The place was under construction. Our floor was a construction site, I don't know why they would put guests on that floor. The staff was not friendly. They had no cribs and our baby had to sleep in the same bed as us ( not safe).
6.8 Good
Pros: Happy hour
Cons: Food was very mediocre.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable, nice rooms.
Cons: When I arrived to check my mother and father in on the afternoon of my wedding rehearsal, we were told the room was not ready yet. Mind you, check in is at 3:00, and we arrived at 3:30. The young lady that checked us in advised she needed to get her manager to switch rooms for us to one that was ready. After the manager came out and 15 minutes later, all he could tell us was that he couldn't check us in until the room was ready. I explained my mother needed to be hooked up to her oxygen machine ASAP, as she was getting short of breath (she's also wheelchair bound.) He repeated he couldn't check us in until the room was ready. I asked if they could at least be put into a room temporarily until theirs was ready, which he reluctantly agreed to after stating that it wouldn't have the disabled amenities. I said that was fine, my mother needed to hook up to her oxygen. He stated he would let us know when the room was ready. I was late to my own wedding rehearsal, AND I had to call back at 8:30 at night to be told, "Oh, it was ready hours ago. We didn't see you come back in to tell you." Well, you said you would call me when it was ready and didn't. I have never come across a more wishy washy "manager" in all my life. He didn't want to help for anything!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We traveled a LONG 10hrs overnight, arrived at 8a. I thought I was going to have to either beg or pay to be able to check in early. Got there and without a problem at all, we got a room. The curtains were dark and the beds were glorious! We only stayed one night, then carried on another day of travel, arrived at our next hotel and what a difference.. Cute little town and very easy to get into DC.
Cons: We ate at the restaurant.. Very over priced and not that good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very attentive, easy free shuttle to nearby Metro stop, quiet clean room with comfortable beds! Bethesda city center offers lots of restaurants.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Free parking
Cons: It's 2016, people-- you can't charge for wifi!! I'm not talking about those upgrades they normally try to sell you-- even basic internet was $12 a day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment I walked in I was blown away by the design and look of the lobby. (Though parking was somewhat confusing as there was a lack of signage), I was immediately taken under the front desk attendant's wing as he greeted me warmly and started up a bit of small talk instead of just business. This was much appreciated as I had been in the car alone for about five hours and welcomed a friendly conversation. He was extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. His directions were clear. As I entered my room on the sixth floor, I was astonished at where I was staying for what I paid. It was beautiful. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, the set up of the room had a positive flow and made sense. It was spacious, a perfect temperature upon arrival and far exceeded my needs for the one night stay. At around 9PM I ordered room service from the hotel restaurant (after the front desk attendant had made a very convincing pitch). When my burger, fries and soda arrived, it arrived in a neatly packaged bag/box lunch-like contraption. No carts, no dishes, no fuss. The food was AMAZING. For the price of room service, I usually steer clear as the food is often soggy, small portions and bland by the time it gets to your room. Not here! Delicious! Locally sourced ingredients, very fair price and the most creative packaging I have ever seen come out of a room service. I am very much looking forward to my next business trip in Bethesda!
Cons: Ha! I liked it all!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfy beds, remodel is very modern.
Cons: Low ceilings, outlet placement seems inconvenient
8.2 Excellent
Pros: I like the location and the facility. Great stace and amenities.
Cons: The bathroom door was a sliding bathroom door. The door had several opens that potentially invaded the privacy of other members that stayed with me. The door did not block any indoor bathroom sound.
7.4 Good
Pros: nice new bedroom decor
Cons: VERY POOR LIGHTING in the bedrooms!!!! NO ONE answered the phone despite calling several numbers including the operator tea bags not replaced the following day

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I am thoroughly impressed with this Residence Inn. Even though its geared for an extended stay, I stayed one night due to a meeting across the street at another hotel. I chose Residence Inn because, quite frankly, the reviews were better here than the “boutique” hotel where the meeting was being held. My room/suite was spacious and extremely comfortable. I arrived quite a bit earlier than expected and they graciously allowed me to check in right away (substantially earlier than the stated check-in time). The customer service was excellent. The location is great, within walking distance of many attractions. The bed was wonderful, I slept great! Lastly, the breakfast set-up was probably the best I’ve ever seen offered at a hotel. Any time I travel to Bethesda, I will definitely stay here.

8.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location (on top of the metro station and a short ride to DC), and good price for that location. The gym was satisfactory, and I didn't get to use the pool but heard good things.
Cons: I thought I was getting a steal at the price I paid. Turns out I only got the discount because the whole place was under construction (right outside my door). It didn't bother me as I was gone during the days, but a heads up would've been appreciated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were excellent! Highly recommend staying here.
7.7 Good
Cons: I was very disappointed that breakfast was not included with the price of the room. I did not realize this until I went to take something to eat and was told that I had to pay I have stayed in many, many less expensive hotels and in ALL of them there was a free breakfast including fruit, breads, eggs, coffee/tea etc. I was not happy about this situation,at all. I will consider staying in other hotels from now on.
7.1 Good
Pros: Very nice room and facilities, great location, friendly staff, certainly would return. One complaint is that the room was overheated at night and no apparent way to lower the thermostat. The last night seemed a bit better for some reason. Also there was a dust rag left in the bathroom one day, and the area around the TV, inside the cabinet was quite dusty.
Cons: See above.
6.0 Good
Cons: When we pulled into the hotel it was a windy and snowy day.. I've stayed at this hotel before so I waited several minutes for the valet to come out.. Or at the very least a bellman to help me. Neither of which happened. Was told that I could park in the garage and then take the elevator up and out to hotel. Even the parking garage was a DISASTER from all the construction. I then had to pay for parking, and I didn't have to when I stayed a year prior. There was also a miscellaneous $40 charge ion my CC from hyatt. This was in addition to the $50 hold they usually put on a CC. Not ONE person could tell me what it was from since nothing from the room had been charged. While the room itself was nicely renovated I wouldn't stay here again. Extremely disappointed
4.8 Okay
Pros: The location was excellent and we got a great deal.
Cons: Sadly the deal was most likely because the hotel was under construction, which we didnt know before we booked. There was a ton of noise early in the morning and a lot of construction-related dust. My whole family and I ended up with allergy-related respiratory issues due to the dust. Also, my mother who was traveling with us, left her diabetes insulin pen behind accidentally. The hotel staff was largely unhelpful in trying to find it.
7.7 Good
Pros: very comfortable rooms, huge tv
Cons: no complimentary coffee in lobby or coffee maker in room (these things seem kinda standard these days?) and there was no hotel guest rate for the parking garage (even though there are signs in the parking garage suggesting otherwise). seems if you're spending that much for a hotel and bethesda, you could get a little more for the money.
3.7 Mediocre
Cons: Hotel under construction. Complete mess. Poor parking. Closed entrance. Slow elevators. Bad room service.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful building. I spent some time photographing it. Efficient, helpful staff. Good location near Metro, for DC access, and nearby support facilities such as restaurants.
Cons: One major point for me: ugly, inconsistent lighting. The building's lighting was very mixed, and thoughtless--or at least it has grown to that. Perhaps it was designed well 20 years ago, but now it has a wide mix of lights, from florescent to LED, and, more importantly, a wide, jarring mix of color temperatures, that convey among other things, cheapness. I suggest you hire a lighting engineer to analyze the facility and generally change all the lights to 3000 degree or warmer LED lighting. This is especially important in the rooms. Your clients will (without knowing why) then feel that they are in a luxurious facility. At this moment, it could be any cheap, roadside motel, if judged by the lighting.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service. Clean, sleek, modern facility
Cons: Main entrance under construction, made it difficult to access upon arrival
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Great location.
Cons: There was quite a bit of construction, and the elevators were painfully slow.
6.5 Good
Pros: We got a great price on our room and the location made metro travel into D.C. very easy.
Cons: The current construction creates havoc for entering and exiting the hotel. It's noisy and woke us up in the morning. There was no AC in the common areas of the hotel (including the fitness center!) which made it somewhat uncomfortable.

8.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very, very good. The room was larger than most and very clean. Location was very, very good
Cons: I was irritated by the charge for parking in an attached hotel dedicated to the hotel. The wifi was terrible but I appreciated the concierge getting my laptop connected but never could get my Pixel phone connected and my small tablet was intermittent. WIFI is important to me and, although it was free because I booked direct, I will avoid Marriott because of those issues.
5.7 Okay
Pros: Rooms clean
Cons: Hidden fees parking $15?? Really!!! No Wi-Fi No free breakfast
4.8 Okay
Cons: Requested quiet room -our room door faced the area above the bar and restaurant -extremely noisy. Would have been in bearable if it wasn't a suite so the bedroom had a second set of doors. Charged for parking

Pros: The wait staff at breakfast was very good.

Pros: The room has a lot of space and it is very clean. Staying there is comfortable. The staffs are very nice. There are many restaurants and shops around so it is quite convenient.
Cons: The wi-fi is too slow so I can barely work in my room. That is the only problem I found.

Cons: The rolly door was cool but you could hear everything going on in the bathroom. Also, you could hear most things going on in the halls from your room

Pros: The staff is great. The hotel is clean and conveniently located.
5.7 Okay
Pros: Location. Nice staff.
Cons: Very poor bed. Sinks in the middle. Too old. Some of the furniture was dirty and stained. Carpet spotted in some areas. The hotel needs some care and attention. We have stayed there before a few times and saw the difference.
7.1 Good
Pros: We've stayed at this property twice, for an annual dance competition event. Hotel staff is nice and hospitable. We received great customer service from the check-in staff. Rooms were fine. Facility was fine. Hotel staff service was good.
Cons: Restaurant service during our recent stay was very unpleasant, unfortunately. We were part of a large dance event, stayed in-house for a group dinner (25 people). I made reservations in advance. We ended up waiting for almost 2 hours to receive our food order. Some orders were messed up. There were errors will bills. I have a feeling that the restaurant was under-staffed, including kitchen staff. Waiter seemed stressed out and not customer-friendly. Overall, it was not a good dining experience at all, unfortunately. The following morning, there was a huge line for a buffet breakfast, which was very inconvenient. Everything about our breakfast experience felt very disorganized. Restaurant was not prepared for a large group, unfortunately. Many customers people were disappointed with quality of service. Our waiter was very patient and professional. Too bad I did not catch his name. He handled the situation as best as he could, with a smile on his face.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly. Remembered me and assisted me efficiently. Room was nice, clean, good amenities. Boarding pass printing station made getting checked in in advance very easy. Excellent hotel overall for business travel.
Cons: Toilet paper and tissue was thin and rough, many analog tv channels, dining was expensive. Internet access was not included.

7.4 Good
Pros: The room was large and comfortable and quite new and clean. The location was very convenient for my purposes.
Cons: I had asked for an early check-in and was told it was available for a fee but when I arrived I was told there were no rooms and had to wait 4 hours for a room to be ready after I had come from a 15 hour flight. I should have been told to book a room from the night before to ensure the early check in. Also there was no hot water, someone came to fix it and walked around the bathroom with dirty shoes (no one came to clean after) - he said it was fixed but it was not fixed. When I told the front desk they said that it would be fixed the next morning, which it was. This meant that I could not take a shower till 20 hours after checking in.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Parking.
Cons: The 'self-serve' kiosk was thin on luxe items.
4.8 Okay
Cons: Did not clean room properly.. Safe deposit box not working ... Had to get key changed several times... Hotel restaurant closed fo renovation...no room service available
