Pros: Love the hotel staff - very courteous and helpful. Service was exemplary! The rooftop bar was a pleasant surprise - what a view! Being on my own, I felt secure with the hotel's security (you can only access the floor of your room), and they announce visitors and callers beforehand. This should be done by all hotels.
Cons: The spotty Wi-Fi in my hotel room. I had to sit by the window to find that "sweet spot." The individual userid and passwords to access Wi-Fi from different equipment could be improved.

Pros: The staff were very nice and always happy to help. The free wifi was handy and (although not part of the actual hotel), the Restaurant attached to the front of the building (called Ola Bar & Grill) was exceptional. Back to the hotel. It was clean, comfortable and easy to get to. The door staff/security always opened the door for us with a nice smile and a hello.
Cons: A fridge in the room would have been handy... But bottled water on a chair in front of the air-con worked nicely ;)

Pros: 2 free cocktails was nice. And it worked because we bought more drinks. Free water. Good view from the bar. Shower was clean and hot water strong. Bidet hose to help clean. Aircon was strong and cold. Lots of available channels on the tv. Bartender had cool and smooth attitude. Give him an assistant to take care of food orders so he can focus on the main point of the bar. I did not have a rental vehicle but I did take note of the onsite basement garage parking. Security card operates the elevator straight to your room.
Cons: Just 1 outlet to be always on would be nice. So you can continue to charge your devices after leaving the room. Kids in the bar. Even with adult supervision, that's not where they need to be. Bar should be 18 or older. Exclusively. They really interrupted the mood/flow of the place. Thus we left early. Probably would have bought another 2 or 3 drinks. No one closes the door to the smoke room so the wind blows the smoke into the bar. Put an exhaust fan in that window to suck the smoke out.

Cons: Ok, first time in Cebu. Simply wanted something clean and safe. This place is in hooker central so good for single guys. The streets around Mango place are not safe. My boyfriend got 'bumped' by a small child 10 mins after leaving the hotel. The cleanliness wasnt good but just ok for 1 night. It is across the road from a karaoke club and its really loud, all night. The breakfast was the worst ive had. Very old gross food and bad quality. However, its a cheap hotel so you get what you pay for in Cebu.
