Danaos Hotel

The good part of location is that the hotel is right on the beach. There are several good restaurants within walking distance. The place is quite at night and sleep quality was good. The hotel is directly across from the beach and offers amazing sunset views.

The bad part of location is that it is far from the Old Town and the Venetian Harbour. There is no parking nearby, and the closest car park is a good 10 to 15 min walk away.

The staff are friendly, helpful, and speak excellent English. The reception staff are maximally helpful and smiling. The staff are very nice, very friendly, and especially helpful.

The room and bathroom are small. The WiFi is weak, and the air condition is noisy. The AC and the lamp in the bathroom didn’t work when we checked in, but the staff fixed it immediately. The lift needs modernisation.

The hotel has a nice relaxed bar downstairs, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby along the sea side. The bar is open till late for the last drink. The breakfast is tasty, good value, and can be taken in front of the sea.

Guests highly recommend booking a room with a sea view for amazing sunset views and a quiet atmosphere at night.
