Clean, nice room and bedding as well as breakfast.
Being solicited to vacation at another location as HH reward members.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and in walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops and the touristy areas yet it was pleasantly quiet. The breakfast was probably a small step up from the usual continental breakfast at other hotels but nothing amazing. Overall, I do believe the value for money is quite good at this hotel though.
My only complaint would be that the bed was really stiff and uncomfortable. I'm used to sleeping on a good firm mattress so I got at least some sleep, but the hotel mattress felt like a cheap firm mattress and made me and my husband feel not well rested and stiff. Also, the parking is completely overpriced with $32 per night and you can only leaven your car til 2pm the next day. I would recommend exploring other parking options.
Hotel location was great as if you chose to ,you could walk anywhere in the historic district. The breakfast was a lot of food but, nothing special. It filled us up, which was the point! Happy Hour was beer and wine, veggies and a lettuce salad.
Don’t expect the front desk to help with tours, they will direct you to the tourist center down the street. Don’t rent a car, parking is expensive.
Rooms were very modern. Breakfast ample. Happy hour in the evening was an added bonus. Staff lovely and very helpful.
Could not find fault with anything.
Great location so as not to be all caught up in the tourist hubbub and great access to the free D.A.S.H. bus (211) that passes by every 15 minutes.
Empty messy lot across from the hotel, I don’t believe it belongs to the hotel but it would be very good if the city sought to have the area cleared. Unsightly and give the area a blemish.
