Arrived at airport in Manchester, NH and was told the car was at an off site location. Took an Uber to the location and it was closed. Took Uber back to airport and finally was able to get a car. Was told to return the car to the airport and an up charge would not be made. Did return the car to the airport, but the upcharge was on the bill when I had an opportunity to view it. Was able to get the upcharge revised via phone, but the whole experience was just a hassle.

Waited in line for a solid hour while one person who was hard working handled Dollar Thrifty and Hertz. Rental was done through Priceline who set my rental for downtown Manchester although I chose the airport location. The car itself was an upgrade but one tire needed air.

I reserved a car from Hertz in Concord, NH in July 2021 for rental the last weekend of September of 2021. When I went to pick up the car on Friday September 24th around 4:30 PM I discovered (through a non-Hertz airport employee) that Hertz no longer rents cars out of Concord & I should take the 30 minute drive down to Manchester airport if I wanted a car. Hertz failed to notify me of the closure of their Concord office. When I attempted to call the Manchester Airport Hertz, the phone would ring, unanswered, until the line disconnected. When I attempted to call the Hertz reservation number, the automated menu took me around in circles until I got frustrated & hung up. Upon arriving at Manchester airport I was told by the Hertz employee that my reservation could not be found using my name. I needed to provide my confirmation number which I did not have. That is my fault but, in my defense, I assumed that other info (such as my name) would have been sufficient to look up a reservation. Fortunately, I was able to rent a car through Alamo & enjoy my weekend getaway. Needless to say I will never rent from Hertz again.

The manager at the Manchester site on South Willow was personable, friendly and made me want to rent from her!! She was awesome!! Her name is Susan McCall. She is a phenomenal representation of your company and should be recognized as such. I returned my car yesterday and was sorry I didn’t have the opportunity to let her know how she impacted my vacation. As a nurse, I hadn’t been able to travel for a long time. She did not make fun of my enthusiasm and if I could have, I would have hugged her! Thanks for making my mental health break start off with such positivity!!

Staff and branch was clean. Car was clean and comfortable and the rate was awesome!Car needed alignment. Pulled to one side all the time.
