bad car, unexplained charges
Cons: The car was awful to drive, uncomfortable seat, awkward steering wheel positioning, the auxiliary audio input didn't work, it doesn't have cruise control, the steering was loose and not very responsive; I know it was a compact car but I've driven other compact/economy cars that were so much better than this one.
The pick up was fine, good customer service and I was in and out fairly quickly.
The drop off not so much, the customer service person was not friendly, I handed her the keys and she looked at me like "what are you still doing here"? Then she asked me if I wanted a receipt and I said "Yes please". She didn't speak another word to me and then typed up the receipt and handed it to me, no eye contact, no words. The receipt was for around $83 which was the estimated total cost when I reserved the car so that was nice. But then the next day I got another charge for $24.01 with no explanation, no e-mail, no phone call, no nothing. What was this charge for?! The car had more gas in it when I dropped it off than it did when I picked it up. The car was clean, I even picked up some trash that was in it before I picked it up. There was no damage, I returned it hours earlier than I needed to. This was a terrible experience and I will never use Alamo again.
