Fox is a double offsite transfer from the airport. Plan accordingly. Car is assigned, you pick from a section. Go over your rental with a fine toothed comb so you don’t get dinged on the dings. Staff is friendly and helpful, but there’s lots of upsell pressure.

I used my own full coverage insurance from Geico and the employee accepted my declaration page/proof of insurance that I showed her in my Geico app. This saved me probably another $70 if I would have been required to use Advantage’s in-house insurance.

Go with an off site rental company. You will save so much money! Best deals around and much cheaper and more convenient than taking an Uber/Lyft.

The rental companies are well represented in Vegas, and the rental desks as well as the vehicles are at the airport. No shuttles required.

We flew into Vegas to drive to Sedona. Good mileage on the car, but wish we would have upgraded to a full size car for the added comfort in a longer drive.

Do not get persuaded that car rental companies in Las Vegas do not accept international / out of state insurance and liability insurance. These companies have a new tactic to scam you by telling you that this is their policy and is unchanged. Then you are forced to pay however much amount they set because you already took the shuttle to their counter. YOU CAN TAKE THE SHUTTLE BACK TO MCCARRAN CAR RENTAL CENTER and find a more honest rental company by being quoted in person. That is what we did and Sixt saved our trip.

Use the trusted car rentals. Enterprise was a thousand times better and what I paid for was what I got. Skip the hassle and just go with the trusted places
