For cheap car rentals in Haifa, it is recommended to rent a compact car or a small SUV. The roads in the city can be narrow and congested, which means that a compact car would be easier to maneuver and park. Furthermore, a small SUV can be a good choice as it offers higher ground clearance and better visibility, which can be useful when driving on some of the city's uneven or bumpy roads.

Pros:
They tried to be courteous.Cons:
Needed to add a driver. They told me i had to come in. I matter how hard I pushed they would not give in. So i went in to the branch. While there adding the driver the guy next to me checked out a car. They told him if he needs to add a driver he can email or fax in a copy of the DL of the driver, no problem. No need to come in... I don't like wasting time, esp for no reason. Oh, and they also tried to get me to put another $500 deposit, and sign a new contract at a higher rate - neither of those did i agree to of course.2.0 Poor

Pros:
the priceCons:
1. Price shown didn't include compulsory insurance. 2. The car I was offered had whistles in air conditioner, all other analogous (Nissan Micra) too. We had to go back to the office and pay more money (not much though) to upgrade and get good working car. 3. I was explained that 250 free km is just mileage limitation - wtf?2 locations in Haifa
