Pros: I got a call to double check that I still need the car. However, I had already called earlier to tell them that and had gotten voicemail.
Cons: Be available for questions - I kept getting voicemail, even when I called in to say I would be a bit late! Try to make sure that your client knows how to operate keyless entry and open the gas tank. Not all of us do. I'm so used to a button in the car to open the tank that I hadn't found out until I need to return the car that I could have pushed one side on the little door to access it. >_<
Pros: The agent at pickup, the ease of the rental process at pickup, the vehicle.
Cons: I reserved the vehicle for 4 days. During the first day my itinerary changed and I did not need it. I was given two local numbers to call, a cell and a landline, both with voicemail. I called 5 times leaving two voicemails asking if I could return the vehicle early. No one returned my call until an hour before the vehicle was due back. I would like Hertz to contact me to discuss a financial settlement.
