I’ve already field a dispute with Amex because 1. We’ve had a family emergency and I am forced to cancel rental plans, out of my control. 2. Your cancellation method online didn’t work didn’t work on mobile app. 3. The $100 cancellation fee was not visible and is not standard operating practice of rental car vendors.

Sixt's Houston office gave me a BMW (which I was driving to New Orleans) that needed immediate oil maintenance according to the warning lights on the dashboard. And I had to take 4+ hours out of my vacation time to get it serviced. Their roadside assistance agent said since they don't have a New Orleans office, I should take the vehicle into one of those quickie oil change shops. On Sunday, after a 1-hour wait at the first one, they said they didn't have the proper filter for it. On Monday, I tried another one and got the same response after waiting 45 minutes. On Tuesday, I begged the local BMW office to fit me in without an appointment before driving back to Houston. It took them 2 1/2 hours to get it done and I was nearly late for my flight.

this was the easiest and best value of any car rental by hundreds of dollars... a great staff easy pickup and return in Houston George bush airport. highly recommended.. up graded to Toyota 4runner for free!!!! 10 star rating!!!

The pickup was unbearably slow. There were only 8 groups in front of me. There were two agents. So each only had to process 4 each before they got to me. But they were unbearably slow. It took probably 40 minutes to get through the line. When my turn came up I stepped up to the counter, the agent confirmed all the details, I acknowledged all the tricky bits and right before she clicked print, she mumbled under her breath, “This isn’t scanning. I’ll have to do this all over by hand”. Unbelievable. But so what, it took me 3 minutes to create the reservation in the first place. But it took her another 15-20 minutes! Why all the pointing and clicking?! She had my address and credit card info and k ew all my answers. But she kept typing and typing. Total disaster.

My rental was great from start to finish! Great, friendly customer service, no lines, just overall excellent!
