It was close and I didn't need to take a cab.
The room conditions were moldy and wet. The carpet was so wet I had to wear shoes. The room smelled musty and moldy. The humidity in the room was so bad it warped my passport book. When I called to report it, they sent someone immediately, but when the house keeper came they wanted to know when I was checking out so they could take care of it then. Nobody offered a different room, or to at least clean it on the spot. The entire floor, carpet, was soaked. It was clearly a leak and they didn't care to deal with it.
Proximity to Airport
On both stays, the room air-con did not seem to work. The air was stuffy and rancid despite the thermostat being adjusted to the coldest and with the maximum blast.
Walk to terminal
Very clean and well-presented rooms. Great staff.
Paper thin walls. It was very noisy and hard to sleep.
Everything is expensive to the point od being a rip-off. A one minute phone call to China cost $8.00 U.S. A soft drink was $6.00. Who needs a five star hotel for a few hours sleep. The airport authority should allow some competiton like a 3 star hotel.
A little expensive, but we did get a free room upgrade and getting to and from the airport couldn't be more easier.
