Great Place to stay
Fun decor, helpful staff. I heard people complain about the size of the rooms, but I had no issues. It maybe was a little small, but the bed was comfortable and I liked that I could cast Netflix and Hulu from my iPad to the tv in the room. I’d definitely stay there again.
The valet fee is exorbitant, but I know that’s just how it is in Chicago, but if I drove again I’d try to find somewhere else to leave my car.
Stay like a loca
Staff was very helpful, room was clean and quiet. Newly upgraded tvs in rooms are huge. The lobby decor is amazing and impressive. Decor carries into rooms. Only downside is no onsite food, but plenty of excellent restaurants in walking distance as well as Walgreens, Walmart, Target plus Whole Foods right across the street.
With not having food onsite, vending machines would be lovely or even a small commissary at the front desk. Bottled water used to be included but is now not available at all. I would have gladly paid to have some in room,
Business Room was nice
The room my friend and I got was a business room with 2 queen beds that was very spacious. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was pretty nice. Overall great value.
Nothing really to complain about except maybe the noise outside, although some bacon or sausage at breakfast would have been nice.
Incredible Hotel, OK Valet service
We were upgraded to a business sweet from a standard queen room for free and without even asking. The room was very clean, simple and classy with a large bathroom. The breakfast room was also large and there was a great selection of foods. The hotel staff is very helpful, kind and attentive. Check out is at noon but you can check your luggage at the hotel if you have more sight seeing to do!! You can also leave your car with valet and won't be charged another night or hourly rates till 3pm.
On our last day of a great trip we needed to check out by noon but we're planning on doing a little more touring so we thought we had to put our luggage in our car after checking out. We asked the valet where the car was parked so they wouldn't have to bring it around for us to merely put our luggage in it. We followed his directions (parking garage around the corner, top floor) and ended up climbing 8 flights of stairs with our luggage to the top of the garage as we hadn't found and elevator. Upon reaching the top we were greeted by a locked door. We started making out way back down through the garage itself to look for our car and couldn't find it so we headed back to the hotel where we got lectured by the valet attendant because apparently we could have checked out luggage at the hotel after checking out. Very upset that we put in all that effort just to be scolded by the valet attendant for whom we were trying to do a favor.
Excellent location, clean rooms, friendly competent staff, and a large accommodating room for the generous free breakfast. It's all good.
Decent breakfast. Nice room. Good HVAC. Good bathroom. Great location. Nice staff.
Hallways can be noisy sometimes.
Within walking distance to Wrigley Field.
Vibrant neighborhood. Great restarants. Convienant to many attractions.
Able to check in early, room was upgraded, excellent breakfast, ticket printing, friendly staff

Quaint and cozy. Old but adequate. Friendly, competent staff.
Elevator old and clunky.
Reasonable price for Chicago
Handy parking in the structure nearby, good location in Lincoln Park. Lobby, workout facilities and breakfast were great.
Cramped room and bathroom. Surprised to see ear plugs with the toiletries, but another reviewer did say that the walls are paper thin. I didn't notice any noise and didn't need to use them.
Great once you get out of the lobby.
Amazing location, clean rooms, appears newly refurbished.
The lobby/ checkin area was just... A little weird. The singular front desk agent was overworked and harried, and the open-area of the lobby is just small enough that everyone seems to be staring at each other, but just large enough to bring enough bodies in to make it feel really odd. But get past check-in and the hotel was great.
Close to my son's condo. Good valet and taxi service. Nice Breakfast included. Rooms well cleaned. Room size adequate for our purpose......just to sleep.
4 bath towels instead of 3 should be standard for 2 adults. A grab bar in shower is a needed safety feature no matter what age of client. 2 cup coffee room service should include 2 regular, not 1 reg and 1 decaf. Most important, please state on check-in that the card you give for possible "incidentals" will be charged and the amount , not just held. I would have preferred to use a different card.
The location was good
The room was small, the bed was uncomfortable, the facilities were not worth using, the bathroom was unconventional and difficult, the room was not much bigger than the bed and desk, and the view was of a brick wall five feet away. This hotel lacks modern conveniences and should be considered as a no fills, budget hotel. It was well over priced.
Location is near various bars and restaurants. Close to subway and train. Safe area.
Rooms are substandard. If you prefer staying at an eye pleasing room, then i would not recommend staying in this hotel. Rooms seem cramped. You should expect a double bed, crappy TV, a desk, and a bathroom with no vent. If you are traveling with someone who stinks the up the bathroom after going "number 2," then you are shit out of luck (pun intended).
This experience was very well rewarding. My stay was comfortable. I is located in a busy but quite neighorhood. It's close to all ameneties. I would stay there again. The staff was friendly an professional.
The staff was amazingly helpful and courteous! The room and all of the hotel that we saw was very clean. The breakfast was good. Could use more variety of fresh fruit. We enjoyed our stay and would use this hotel again! Nice stores and restruants within walking distance.
The staff was friendly and accommodating.
Friendly staff, nice room, window in the bathroom, good location - easy to get downtown, free use of internet/e-mail, complimentary breakfast
The hotel is nice, and in a great location. It is within walking distance of everything that we wanted to see.
The one problem with the hotel was that they were having some electrical issues while we were there. I know that this happens sometimes, but I would have thought that we would have been given a slight discount for going all day without TV and air and going an hour and a half without any power at all. It was inconvenient, and all we were offered was a sorry. It was, however, and isolated incident.
Our room was very run-down. wallpaper peeling off the wall, tile in bathroom falling off the wall, very noisy airconditioner
Upgraded to an executive suite without me asking. Room had been recently renovated and though not large, was very modern and clean. Bed and bed linens were very nice and comfortable.
