It was a very nice room with especilly nice bathroom. The views from the back were lovely. It was close to West Wittering which we went to see for the first time for 50 years. The restuarant was very good and the staff friendly and helpful. Thank you.
The bed! Nice, big and very comfy.
The noise of the traffic from the main road which was very noticable against a quiet country backdrop.
I liked the layout and privacy of the rooms. The restaurant was comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable and the view over fields very pleasant.
The bed was very comfortable and roomy! The evening meal was delicious - with very efficient service.
some breakfast staff very slow and forgetful - needed efficient person in charge.
it was clean
the room I felt like i was in a chalet not a hotel.it had a musty smell to it,
Room and food were very good
Food and drink expensive, staff inexperienced
GReat rooms , friendly staff, lovely food both dinner and breakfast..
Absolutely fantastic stay; staff couldn't have been more attentive; room was compact but very clean and comfortable and with a cracking view of the Sussex countryside (including deers skipping from left to right). Had a set menu due to it being a Valentine's Day special but the choice was still excellent and the food delicious.
A couple of guests seemed to believe that they were in the Ritz and appeared somewhat snooty over our relaxed attire (nothing outrageous just didn't feel it necessary to put my 3-piece Cotswold tweed on). No such issue from the staff.
Ver ywarm on a cold night, Excellent food
Quite close to a road
