10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very polite, the food was delicious. We checked in at 9.00 pm when the kitchen closes but they were nice enough to get us a delicious hot vegetarian meal. Breakfast the next morning in the open seating was excellent as well. The home made plum jam was simply superb.
Cons: Some better way to tackle the mosquitoes. There are a few of those.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location and room
Cons: Price on Booking were not accurated
7.5 Good
Pros: Was great to see the storks nesting
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely, friendly, helpful staff. Amazing meals. Lovely old wooden house, immaculately restored, with every modern convenience including en-suite bathroom, WiFi, a silent but powerful and cold aircon system. Beds were amazingly comfortable. This is a family operation, and It's clear they take much pride in their hotel. The area is famous for its stork population. There are massive nests everywhere. This is a beautiful part of Croatia with lovely people. Rates are very affordable and service is excellent. I'm looking forward to my next stay at Tradicije Čigoć.
Cons: Therè was nothing I didn't like.
6.3 Good
Pros: Tradicje Cigoc is an hotel made of a displaced and rebuilded old wooden farmhouse typical from the region. Building is very nice and surrouding are pleasant. The place serves also as a small mobile home camp. The region is very flat, it is a natural park made of lakes and streams. It is a paradise for migrant birds, with, in first, place the storks. We had a stork nest just in front of our bedroom window, fantastic to observe!
Cons: Unfortunately, the old wooden construction was not engineered considering noise insulation while rebuilded. We could hear breathing the person sleeping in the next room or follow the conversations from the dining room without any problem. Same for bathroom noises or airco external fan vibrations. Be also prepared to be attacked by mosquito squadrons at sunset : covering clothes and repulsive products are mandatory.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Incredible, magical, beautiful, cozy place. Thank you very much, Diana, Ivan and Matya!!! Silence and the magic of nature! Incredible !!! Unforgettable !!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staying at Tradicije Cigoc is a small way that travellers can support the preservation of traditional housing. The meals were traditional, home cooked and delicious. Top marks to the breakfast yoghurt & homemade bread. The staff answered our questions on the area and the reconstruction of the house, itself. Yes, there are mosquitoes but we were offered, and used, repellent.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly people (staff), they looked after us brilliantly even though it was very late when we got there. Full food menu and bar was not too much trouble for them. The rooms were amazing. Had a fantastic stay here, we very nearly changed our plans to stay an extra night but we had to crack on. I cannot recommend this enough!!!! Brilliant...
Cons: Here were no bad points here to be honest...

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house was beautiful and very authentic, over 200 years old with all original furniture! It is so rare to see things not modernised now- although the bathroom had been and facilities were excellent! The Ravlic family were so friendly and inviting, the food was incredible and so much of it home made including the wonderful goats cheese from Rosa the goat and lovely honey from the hives in the back field! Food was very reasonably priced including the local wine which was excellent and fabulous Turkish coffee! There was an amazing view being right across the from the lake and lovely walks in the area with great binoculars and maps included! Without air con the house was still very cool, 4 nights was a great time to explore the area and canoe, bike, swim and horse ride! Thank you so much
Cons: Not a problem as we had one, but would recommend renting a car rather than getting transport to the property in order to properly explore the area!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I would describe the place as rural and authentic - the house, the furniture. So, for me it was a perfect place where to spend a night in a countryside. Even the roosters announced when the morning came. We were off-season, so they did serve only "light breakfast" (it was still a very proper breakfast). The host was friendly and told as about the place and the nature park.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fascinating historical house, in the middle of the natural park. The hosts are super-nice, friendly and welcoming. They explained the story of the park and provided us with fantastic binoculars to explore the flora&fauna. The location is really magic. Hosts provided delicious dinner&breakfast upon request.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very local and extensive... authentic and fresh. The interior and exterior of the house is in great balance and 'brings' you back in history (in a positive way). The location close to the nature reserve is amazing.
6.0 Good
Pros: It was an experience which we enjoyed but only for one night. the bed was not made up and perhaps the room had not been fully prepared, there was no hot water for the evening as it had not been turned on (by mistake). The evening meal and breakfast were served outside and were great....but the most expensive food we had in Croatia! The owner was delightful. We have stayed in forest huts so we know that rustic can be better.
Cons: see above
9.6 Excellent
Pros: What a great place to stay, real genuine, authentic B&B. And above all, very nice and caring hosting staff. Finally perfect food, so this B&B is highly recommended!!!

5.0 Okay
Pros: Helpful desk staff particularly at check- in who gave me directions to an excellant restaurant in the next street called Cocktail.
Cons: The whole ambience is old and tired - needs a total refurbishment. The bedrooms have been reworked but to a low standard. The breakfast was very basic and the coffee awful.

Cons: The hotel was dirty, and had several limescales on the walls, especially around the A/C.
7.1 Good
Cons: WiFi kept falling out resulting in a large personal data cost when I assumed WiFi was still on ( ie during the night whilst asleep)

4.0 Okay
Pros: for one night if the man tired having no other option in neighbourhood - its possible o survive. staff very kind.
Cons: compare to Gostilna Grof in Vransko and Gostilna Lešnik in Maribor(the etalon for my bussiness trip in Slovenia)- very weak. bed was clean, but carpet awfully dirty with stains of various color. fortunately was not summer, when opening cover of A/C the plastic filter was full of dirt so i am sorry for alergicians.

Pros: Lovely property but not quite as described. Restaurant was in town and not even a bar or shop in walking distance so no good for motorcyclists like us. Owner very understanding and switched us to their hotel in Kutina which was brilliant. Same charge so an upgrade of sorts. Thank you to them.
4.6 Okay
Cons: The room hadn't been cleaned. The floor was littered with dead spiders and flies which signals that a lot of time has passed since the last sweeping and washing.

Pros: + Friendly hosts, warm welcome, excellent hospitality + Beautifully restored old houses + Excellent food with ingredients from the own garden + great nature, peaceful environment
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The very special thing about Ethno Village Stara Lonja is the staff. It is run by two brothers and their mother. All of them are extremely friendly and hospitable. For some reason they are always happy and also always happy to help. The brothers can provide additional services, for example canoeing, we did this, it was a lot of fun and very easy to arrange. They also provide meals, fishing trips. They give away fruit, fresh from the orchard and if you are lucky home-made liquor. Also the atmosphere of the place is so relaxed. An old traditional village with modern (though basic) alterations. I cannot recommend this enough!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything: the hosts, the place, the food, the quiet countryside.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is really ethno place. Accomodation is in very old houses but inside you may find clean and comfort area. With Wi-Fi;) Important notice: you will need anti-mosquitos repelents during summer season. And the best ways (and only these) to achive ethno-village is route - from the north - Sisak, from the South Jasenovac. Don't follow your GPS through the forest!!! Area of village is very simillar to Polish Biebrza National Park. Hosts are very open and speak English very well. They offer canoeing as well
Cons: Everything was the best
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good food special prepared for us
Cons: The beds are a bit small for tall people

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is taken out of a fairytale and we loved our stay. The hosts are rare gem, that will help you relax and feel like home. They were kind and thoughtful to offer us a dinner at a time the kitchen was closed and being on the road for the most of the day, without proper meal, this was really appreciated. The house is well preserved historical heritage that is kept clean and comfy.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We were absolutely excited about the accommodation, this is a very special place to stay! The host is super friendly and knows many secret spots. The whole concept is so convincing and how he cares for the preservation of this heritage and traditional villages and the nature is absolutely exemplary! With only about 8 rooms it is very personal and so peaceful and quiet. The food is local and homemade with lots of love and passion! We could have stayed there longer! There is so much to do and to see in the area!
Cons: It's in the middle of nature and obvious that there are mosquitos etc., so be prepared. Also, there is no AC and it can be quite humid and hot in summer (there are fans, though). It's quite a long way from the motorway, but that's the downside if you want peace and nature!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The manager was absolutely super. Caring, accommodating, eager to listen and to inform. We had such a nice chat! I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this place to everyone who likes the country and places of traditional character. The rural location was peaceful and I would certainly go there again!
Cons: We arrived at midnight ... It was not easy finding the room but !! we were seriously delayed passing borders in Bulgaria, Serbia and Croatia because of the mass of Turks returning to Germany. No blame due on the owner/manager. He did everything in his power to help.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very cozy place, comfortable rooms - even if the ones under the roof tend to heat up a little. The owners are exceptionally friendly, laid-back and helpful (we even got some delicious selfmade cake :) We'd recommend it!

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Absolutely nothing - would have rather grabbed 2hrs sleep in a nearby bus stop if I knew how bad this place would turn out to be...
Cons: I want a full refund for this - everything about this place; from the owner to the room itself was a joke. 1hr to be taken to my room after she refused to meet me in reception after speaking on the phone 6 times while i was in the building. Other issues inc nearly falling through the shower tray to the floor below and the numerous exposed wires throughout the room. 45EUR a night, you've got to be kidding me, I don't think this place would warrant more than 5EUR and I've stayed in places that were 5EUR a night that were much more satisfying. I feel like my pants were well a truly pulled down and I was robbed in broad daylight. DO NOT STAY HERE!
