Pros: Our stay at the Benaaron Guest House was the greatest hotel experience we ever had. Elaine and Ron are incredible hosts. Their self proclaimed goal is to exceed their guests' expectations, and they did so in an absolutely wonderful way. The house is a gorgeous gem, situated in the midst of an incredibly beautiful forest landscape. Elaine's home made breakfast is to die for. In every corner of the house it becomes obvious that so much thought has been put into every little detail... There's a literal home theater with six super comfy theater seats. Coffee, beer and soft drinks are complementary and we were offered home made scones at the little "bar" in the hallway... The entire house is wonderfully decorated and super super clen. The only thing that made us sad was that we could only stay for one night. We almost had tears in our eyes as we left. Thank you so much, Elaine and Ron. We really felt at home in your house.
Cons: Absolutely nothing.
Pros: To Ron Elaine, You guys are awesome, we can’t thank you enough for everything. We were treated like your own family. We will see you guys soon for sure. Two thumbs up and five stars! Thank you very much, Jeff and Maria
Pros: The home is located on a quiet residential street about 15 minutes out of Bancroft. It is beautifully maintained and has activities for guests including a ping pong table and exercise equipment. The room was big and comfortable with a private fire place. The breakfast was delicious and the host fantastic. We would stay there again in an instant.
Pros: Hosts couldn’t be nicer. So accommodating, friendly. Place is immaculate.
Cons: Just a long drive in the dark from Bancroft Town Centre. About 20 minutes.
Pros: Best guesthouse I have ever stayed. Lovely and cozy house with marvelous view. The nice couple take care of the house very well. Close to Algonquin Park.
Pros: We've had a very warm welcome, the hosts were very kind and helpful, the selfmade breakfast was delicious and varied and we got fresh baked scones every morning! :) The room was clean, cozy and we felt absolutely comfortable.
Pros: Every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. The facilities are spotless and beautiful. The food is beyond amazing. And the hosts are welcoming and friendly. Every detail is perfection!
Cons: Absolutely nothing.
Pros: Wonderful hosts who made us feel at home. Beautifully decorated home with a very warm feeling. Had toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand lotions if you wanted them. They have a hot tub which we used, pool in season, movie theatre which we also used, they also had board games and a ping pong table. Had a little table with scones, jam and butter waiting for us outside our from each morning. Also had coffee and tea along with soft drinks, juices and water at our disposal throughout the stay. They even had little bags of a variety of chips and little chocolate bars as snacks. All these things were at no extra cost. The best B&B we've been to. They had a nice sitting area if you wanted to read. A deck to sit out on if you wanted to sit and enjoy the backyard. The food was excellent and so much of it and a good variety. The scones we're so good. They think of everything you could imagine needing or wanting and then go beyond. Les than an hour from Algonquin Park which is beautiful this time of year.
Cons: Honestly nothing.

Pros: The resort was very quaint. The view was beautiful. Lots of things to do right on site, especially for kids. Playground, fishing, boats, beach...
Cons: Our cabin 4EEEEs was the perfect size. Nothing fancy but comfortable. The beds in the room was two beds were comfortable but the queen bed in the larger room was a rock! It definitely needs a new mattress. Otherwise everything was great!
Pros: Well laid out comfortable and clean.Sounds of traffic very bothersome. Not as private as I'd like.It was nice but I didnt like all the traffic going by.
Cons: Too much traffic close by.
Cons: The shower in our cabin 4EEEE did not work very well. The water in the shower kept shutting off every 30 to 90 seconds
Pros: Very neat and well maintained
Cons: There was nothing to dislike
Pros: Cute and homely
Pros: - great location at the lake - beautiful and well-maintained site - friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Considering the price per night we found that the cottage was too basic. Everything was old and only partially working (e.g. just boiling water triggered the smoke detector, which means cooking was impossible). The bathroom was small and rundown. The chairs on the veranda were so dirty that actually using them was no option. I am happy to admit that we are no campers, but considering the price, we expected much more and were quite disappointed.
Pros: Our lodge was Dunworryin. We only used it as a base and only stayed three nights. The lodge was clean but could have done with a bit of modernisation but I guess you go to the country for the rustic feel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay the view over the lake is fantastic. Would recommend the Sund Run Cafe in Maynooth for a good brreakfast.

Cons: Staff was excellent, friendly. Rooms newly renovated. Beautiful location right on the water and 10min from town. Quiet location. More of a romantic getaway spot. Maybe small, well behaved family too. 10/10

Pros: Location. Kitchen was functional with adequate plates, knives, forks. The linens we paid extra for, were clean. The bed was actually fine.
Cons: The cabin was adequate, but very rough and unfinished. One of us was cold at night, even with the heat on. The worst was the cabin need a good, thorough cleaning. Dead flies and spiderwebs in the windows. Sound proofing is non-existent between the bed rooms.

Pros: Neat little place. Beautiful location.
Cons: All good.
Pros: Great location close to our Bancroft office. Pleasant staff and very clean room. Close enough to walk to many restaurants and tourist attractions.
Cons: The price does seem a little high for area and what you are getting. The breakfast could use some work. At most other Best Western locations I have been to, have a full breakfast including eggs, sausage, etc. It was disappointing - would have paid less and gone for breakfast.
Pros: Clean room, friendly staff.
Cons: Joining rooms have too much noise from other room. I could here their TV all night and even if they coughed.
Pros: hotels near algonquin park are usually all booked weeks ahead. We were glad that this motel is still available 1 week before our trip. Rooms are nice and cozy, staffs are friendly, nice hot water, amenities are fine.
Cons: The one thing that drag down the experience is the AC. It has old style AC in the room and it was super noisy when it's on. Sounds like planes taking off right by your bedside. It was not a very cold night when we stayed there, around 2 degrees, so at 3am, when I found out I really cannot fall asleep, I turned off the AC and grabbed 4 hours of sleep. Another room I booked for my friend said it was the same for her. Having an AC for heating like that is really a bad idea, especially when you stayed there in winter as you cannot really turn if off.
Pros: The location was good - it's easy to walk around Bancroft from the motel. Check-in was easy and the staff is very friendly.
Cons: Easy to hear people next door and above us, as well as people outside. The continental breakfast room is small.
Pros: The location was good. We could walk to area stores and get dinner and supplies for the night. The continental breakfast was good, Did not have time to try the pool, hot tub, sauna and games room but it all looked nice.
Cons: What I did not like was that the room smelled like it had previously been a smoking room. Maybe steam cleaning the carpet and washing the curtains would help freshen it up. (just a suggestion). The TV screen / picture was not good.

Cons: The rooms were quite old and dingy, and not updated by any means.
Pros: Room itself was a good size.
Cons: Really small bathroom. And that you had a small area to get your breakfast from.
Pros: Cleanliness, friendly staff
Cons: Pillows were far to soft.
Pros: The beds were perfect firmness. Table nook useful. Easy to access. Quiet for sleeping.
Cons: Lighting is VERY poor. Fan in bathroom noisy & not useful. Covers very heavy & hot pillows all too big. Need some not so full. TV terrible reception & hard to find any local or Ontario news.
Pros: The bed was super comfortable.
Cons: Super expensive for such a small room.
Pros: Bed sooooo comfy
Cons: Nothing everything was awesome
