front rooms directly on Galle Rd, very loud, but we got used to it.
A good city hotel. Very friendly staffs.
Decent hotel with nice staff. Although bathroom fittings needs some improvement the friendly and courteous staff have done their best to present it nicely. Courteous and hospitable staff.
The price is a little on the higher side. Booking.com should quote the correct price including local tax. We were a little surprised to know that the local tax makes up to 25% of the quoted price.
The staff seemed fairly pleasant. Wifi was decent. Nice pool, although deserted which seemed strange.
Not sure if the staff here are used to tourists as they tried to give us drinka made with tap water in the restaurant. Unfortunately the welcome drinks made us ill so we spent our first couple of days in Sri Lanka holed up in our hotel room. Not an ideal start! The location wasnt great if you want to do anything in the area and the 'nearby' beach was quite horrible. Definitely more of a business hotel, and would definitely not recommend if you want to have a relaxing start to your trip.
