Overall the hotel is "fine". An older hotel, pretty shabby interior, staff is not super friendly, etc - but it's clean and in a good location.
It seems the more one pays for a hotel room, the less one gets — that’s the sacrifice when you trade affordability for location. The Sheraton at Capitol Square is a convenient location, but doesn’t have a restaurant or bar. I didn’t expect a free hot breakfast in the morning but I did expect a hot shower, which no one in the hotel received. We were assured the chain would compensate for that, but haven’t received information regarding that yet.
Cons. Took over 3 hours to check in, bed wasn't comfortable, was put into room that we didn't ask for. Took so long to check in we missed our dinner reservation for our anniversary.
Pros. Bar staff attentive.
Cons. The room was not heated properly for the weather. Corner room’s bathroom was cold.
