Pros: Nice relaxed hotel on the beach with excellent dining choices and friendly staff
Cons: Expensive if you don’t have a voucher or are on a package. We got upgraded to a suite which was nice since we were paying full fare for our last minute booking.
Pros: All is Ok
Cons: Slow checkin process
Pros: Awesome views, facilities, room pool are amazing, beach perfect, easy access, bring you mask and snorkel you can swim right out to beautiful scenery. Spa is excellent, wish they had couples hot tub..Adult only pool is to die for...you will not want to leave. Staff is very helpful...highly recommend. Join the Hyatt club for perks!!
Cons: Perfect stay, the Great House outside for dinner highly recommended, even if maitre' d says is a problem based on staffing. It is worth it!
Pros: Scenery, staff, architecture
Pros: I liked the design of the property.
Cons: Customer service...very slow.
Cons: Slow staff response at beginning of meals. Takes forever to get coffee/tea to begin breakfast and same for getting cocktails/wine to begin dinner. Bring me something promptly when we arrive and we are very patient with the rest of the process. Staff definitely does not get this .
Pros: Adult only pool area. Very good food. New contemporary property
Cons: Needs hot tub

Pros: Lots of activities and excellent restaurants (steak, fish, pasta, and sushi)
Pros: Food in all of the restaurants was excellent. The salmon at Blu was the best I've ever had! Service everywhere was great!
Cons: Bed was too firm. Beach wasn't nice at all. We had to take taxis to other beaches which cost an additional $80 for 2 days.
Pros: Location close to the airport and close to restaurants like sweet and savoury.
Cons: swimming Pools were not clean and very cold to go into.
Pros: Front desk man was so nice and helpful.
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful, great poolside restaurants and bars. All the facilities were new and clean. Lots of things to do in and around the hotel.
Pros: The location and the environment
Cons: They charge extra for breakfast and pool toys and I did not like that. It should be included at --- a night
Pros: Wonderful employees. We were treated so well by staff
Pros: We really enjoyed our two-night stay at the Marriott St. Kitts Resort. The property has everything that you can imagine, restaurants, beaches, pools, a spa, a weight room, a casino and much, much more. The front desk staff who checked us in were professional and courteous. After check-in we got upstairs to our room on the fourth floor. The rooms were big, which was quite appreciated. The property itself was amazing. The location on the beach was stunning and the casino and lobby were top of the line. We tried 3 of the various restaurants and enjoyed every meal. The bar was also very nice. The rooms were large, with great views
Cons: • After getting to our room, there was sand left in the bed. We pulled back the covers and found sand on the bed. • Additionally, two of the four pillows smelled of old sweat o We informed the staff who changed the sheets and took back the pillow • A main compliant was not having a working phone in the room. We were unable to call down to the front desk during our stay and we had to walk downstairs every time to request towels and request assistance from the front desk staff. We were not given a timeline for a resolution. • Additionally, the TV did not work in our room during the entire stay (max of 3 channels and those 3 channels did not come through at all). While we were there to enjoy the island, not having a functioning TV was disappointing • I also want to say that from our room, it was very easy to hear the loud music from the lobby that was playing 24/7. It made sleeping quite difficult. • Customer service could also be improved, outside of the front-desk staff and the pizza restaurant workers, staff were very impersonal, and we had to probe for basic information and help. I would suggest: • The fixtures in the bathroom and the tub itself could be updated • Update the pool • Add a dresser or counter space to the room, there is very little counter space
Pros: We had great service. One employee was outstanding
Pros: The location was good. The staff helpful and friendly
Cons: beach was covered in seaweed. It was off season and hotel didn't provide any entertainment at night. I think they should bring in vendors especially on Sundays and Mondays when most shops and resteraunts are closed. The spa was a mess. DIdn't get the message I asked for. They didn't play music which made was uncomfortable as you could here outside noise. When they did turn it on it was loud and kept cutting out.
Pros: I like the closeness to the beach and the staff service.
Cons: Needs more restaurant options!

Pros: The room was spacious with a nice view.
Cons: The room was not properly lit, and if you desire hot water, go under the kitchen sink and adjust the thermostat. Ours was set at 95 F.
Pros: The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. Within walking distance to the beach and a number of restaurants.
Pros: There's nothing i didn't like about this hotel If I travel again with my family, I will totally come back plus it has a good price ❤
Pros: The rooms are perfect! Biggest, cleanest and most comfortable studio room I’ve stayed at in my travels. The studio room has a full kitchen with all amenities and utensils, the bed was big and comfy and I can’t stress how squeaky clean it was. I loved the room layout, design and decor, not too much and not too little - a very soothing style. The staff on the property were all very pleasant. Also loved the gym which is free for hotel guests and and there is a salon/spa on property too. The location is close to other hotels/resorts, restaurants/bars and there is a supermarket on site as well.
Cons: Not a major issue but it was a bit tricky to find the right temperature in the shower as it was either hot or cool but difficult to get warm water.

Pros: The pool was nice and staff was friendly. The location was great
Cons: Rocks in the beach , several cats on property.food in restaurant over pry
Pros: Everything the comfortable of the bed how cool it was in the room. ONLY THING THEY CAN WORK ON IS KEEPING UP THE LANDSCAPING
Pros: The staff was friendly, room was clean.
Pros: Nothing. Only the AC
Cons: Everything. The hotel was tired , room was poor. Lack of security. Food presentation and quality poor. Bed and bedding was poor quality. On arrival we were shown tk our room by a work man in dirty paint clothes. To obtain wifi from main desk took a great deal of effort and patience. Access to WiFi was not secure If I could I would have a refund. Would not recommend to any of my family or friends.
Pros: Clean large room with good AC and bathroom. Decent views. Food at the restaurant was good. The cleaning staff were lovely; friendly and welcoming.
Cons: Relatively noisy due to proximity of bars/clubs. Also noisy across all of Sunday morning due to large tent hosting church services. The coverings on the sun loungers on the balcony were mouldy and smelly.
Pros: One server Cleo was very nice
Cons: The food was just tolerable, the staff did not appear to enjoy their jobs, for a resort that barely had any customers the check in wait for a room was NOT acceptable, waiting hours for a room that was clearly not used recently. Traveling companions waited over 6 hours for towels to be delivered. No real beach, ocean water littered with plastic etc could not swim in ocean. Not close to any restaurants or town.
Pros: Location, air conditioning, bed comfortable, staff friendly.
Cons: Noise from bars at night, no shuttle

Pros: Ms Hazel was a gracious host. I felt like family. I will definitely be back
Pros: Hazel was super. She was very accommodating and considerate and made an excellent breakfast. It was short but pleasant stay and would recommend it for value and location being close to the airport as we arrived later in the day.
Cons: It was great
Pros: It was very nice and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a delicious personal experience and was offered when l had awaken in the garden yard. This stay was not like a typical hotel; Gave more of a "at home feeling", was quiet, and I didn't feel like I was just another guest. Internet was good. The Ms Hazel and Ms Josephine were the sweetest. I would definetly return, without hesitation. Great Bang for Buck!
Cons: That I had to leave.... :(
Pros: The location is perfect in that you are literally about a 2 min drive from the airport and about 5 from the city.
Pros: Very comfortable and quiet.
Cons: Needs a little improvement with the front garden. Needs a better sign to identify the place.
Pros: Really good breakfast
Pros: The location was great. The host was very nice and attentive. In short...I experience at Fern Tree was....friendly people with a wonderful view.
Cons: My room was a bit smaller than I expected...but the atmosphere more than made up for that.
Pros: Everything... Room location close to the airport close to town and beaches beautiful garden and views friendly relaxed atmosphere it was really special .... Thank you for your kind Hospitality.
Cons: There was nothing I didnt like the cleanliness the food the location was all excellent... The Host on site Ms Hazel her kindness and attention to detail were second to none an exceptionally professional Host 10 out of 10... I would definitely recommend Fern Tree Bed and breakfast to my family and friends
Pros: I stayed one night at Fern Tree while transiting through Basseterre. Hazel provides Caribbean hospitality in an authentic and unique setting. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. Hazel is a pleasure to chat with on the porch. She helped with all necessary taxi arrangements across town and to the airport.
Pros: Quite neighborhood. Very friendly host. Breakfast was great. The dinner served was like a king's feast.
Cons: No AC.
Pros: Very nice and peaceful accommodation. Hazel is a wonderful hostess. Warm and family atmosphere. Breakfast gave me energy for a whole day (fried bananas were my favorite part).

Pros: Location not far from down town
Pros: The scenery quietness the general look of the property is amazing
Pros: The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was clean but a lot of water came out of the shower. Fridge and coffee maker in the room, with 2 coffee bags, but not sugar or cream. They didn't put bottles of water The view from the different terraces.
Cons: The Veranda restaurant staff (where they serve breakfast) was very unfriendly and seemed to be doing favours reluctantly. The breakfast was expensive and poor quality. In general expensive food for what they served and the quality not very good. The only restaurant that opened for lunch and dinner was outside the hotel and many stairs had to go down. and up There were no other restaurants near the hotel. You had to take a taxi. No beach
Pros: The location is amazing with the view on top of the terrace of the bay area below. The room I was in was nice and well maintained. It was good to see that there was a gym although I did not get a chance to go in but it was well equipped.
Cons: The hidden charges were the problem. The price stated on the website was not the final price. it was almost 150USD more. Also the cost included breakfast in the original but it was not clear that it was only continental breakfast. Although breakfast was included I was still charged a fee, albeit a nominal fee for breakfast. Too many hidden charges. If you are on a tight budget it is not the place for you.
Pros: The place was excellent but breakfast was not included and the meals are very expensive.
Cons: The food as well as the personnel were good.
Pros: Bed was so comfy, balcony was beautiful, food at fisherman’s wharf was great and staff were so welcoming and friendly
Cons: Shower was a bit temperamental
Pros: Tasty and relaxing
Cons: Internet and no water bottles in room
Pros: The upgrade
Cons: Choice for breakfast

Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Just the pool
Cons: Ac didnt work whole time i was there
Pros: The close proximity to the strip and Timothy beach and the close to places to eat and shop.
Cons: The WiFi sucks bad here. Very choppy and I was very unhappy with it.
Pros: I stayed in a cottage and liked the size of the space, rooms and bathrooms included.
Cons: The lighting in the rooms were a bit full and one room only had a lamp light.
Pros: Location and service
Pros: My view and the fact that food places were so close.
Cons: I can't think of anything
Pros: The remodeled 2-bedroom villas are wonderful.
Cons: The grounds need ALOT of work. Not pleasing to the eye at all. I do see, however, that they are remodeling. I would consider staying at the villas again once the get the rest of the property up to par. No real ocean views from villas
With a stay at Bird Rock Beach Hotel in Basseterre, you'll be on the beach, within a 5-minute drive of Basseterre Cruise Port and Leeward Islands. Featured amenities include a computer station, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Planning an event in Basseterre? This hotel has facilities measuring 600 square feet (56 square meters), including conference space. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very close to town area and event property.
Cons: No fridge or iron in the room and the bed was really hard.
Cons: One the bed didnt had on a comforter.
Pros: The view.
Cons: The air conditioning not working well, the rooms were in poor shape.
Pros: The quiet and landscape
Pros: The breakfast was awesome. The location was great for the events I attended.
Cons: The bed was too hard. Needs to be up dated.
Cons: A/C does not work properly (needs servicing)
Pros: Pool Bar/ Attendant was very good. Breakfast Chef (Jackie) was extremely helpful and understanding.
Cons: Being bullied to make full payment on my stay because there was a big event in town. Management staff very unprofessional. Basic items like "Do Not Disturb" sign not available.
Pros: This property is undergoing renovations so keep that in mind. If you are looking for simple with a pool then you are good to go. The sliding glass doors are very squeaky, noisy. It is a solid 20-25 minute walk to the grocery store Rams. Stay away from perishable items, my berries molded in 1 day and the frozen sausage had mold on it. The dining is limited and nothing happens quickly. Shanique is a sweet waitress but the rest of the staff does not smile. Our family members stayed in the Suite with mini kitchen. This is a great money saver. Be careful when entering the pool, the tile is slippery. Lastly the whole place is lots of stairs so just be ready for that.
Cons: Better pillows, softer beds, replace your sliding glass doors, train restaurant staff to smile, put buzzer on office door so no one is waiting outside. Put patio set on balcony so you can actually enjoy it without pulling out furniture. Fix close line in 306 so tall people do hit their head on it when they shower.
