Pros: The view and balcony size was amazing. It was very quiet, parking was always available and close. Everyone was friendly and the whole place was exceptionally clean. The villa and resort had everything we needed.
Cons: The hotel staff was very friendly, but almost a little over the top and seemingly disingenuous at times. They had babysitting available which I thought was amazing -- but only offered on Tuesdays which makes no sense to me.
Pros: Nice view and staff.s kindless
Pros: Never have I reviewed before but this place deserves one! Staff was so friendly including maintenance that we happened upon in elevator! Very clean and I am picky! Everything you need in suite, definitely going back. By far best place I have stayed in Myr
Cons: Parking little tight for oversized diesel truck like mine
The atmosphere of the property made you feel that you were truly away from the stess of everyday living. I am now on vacation. The staff made you a VIP everyday.
Pros: The grounds were most appealing. The various heated pools made were delightful. Having a schuttle service made our day. They were always prompt in their service.
Cons: Nothing. Will return again and again.
This hotel was an excellent choice for a family getaway. The villas were clean, modern and well-appointed with necessities. It was nice to have a washer/dryer in the unit. The views of the ocean were great from the balconies. The staff was courteous and helpful. The grounds and amenities at the property were well-maintained. The outdoor pools were heated as we visited during a cooler period but were still able to use the pools. The kids' activity center was great and other activities at the resort gave us some fun opportunities. The resort is situated well among the attractions in Myrtle Beach. Overall, it was a good value for the money (we stayed in the off-season).
Pros: Very courteous staff; clean, well-appointed rooms/villas; ample on-site activities and amenities; convenient location, great place for kids; great beach access; heated outdoor pools; indoor pools on-site; washers/dryers in villas

Cons: Elevators were slow. Take a patience pill to use them.
Pros: It's spacious with a modern design. The staff was great and the facility is kept very clean. I truly enjoyed my stay.

Cons: The couch in the room was unconformable because it was a fold away bed, needs to be replaced with a real couch.. The bed room shouldn't have a window that looks into the hall way out side of the room.
Pros: I liked the staff the amenities and comfort that was offered by the hotel
Cons: The only thing I didn't like from the hotel was the check in process and the parking. This process wasn't bad by no means it just seemed to a bit crazy and hectic

Pros: Hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable. It's located in Northern Myrtle Beach (NOT North Myrtle). The location is key because it's only a short drive to everything Myrtle has to offer without being slammed into the middle of everything. The hotel has everything you need.. Bar, indoor pool, outdoor pool, great beach access, friendly staff, comfort.. Highly recommended.
Pros: Nice grounds and pools with a nice appointed room
Cons: Bathroom grout wasn't as clean as it should be and shower odd.
Island Vista Resort is a great choice for your beach stay in Myrtle Beach. Guests in the mood for pampering can indulge in spa services, and there's fun for everyone with the 2 outdoor pools and indoor pool. Cypress Room serves breakfast and dinner. A lazy river and a free kid's club are other highlights, and rooms offer conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: The pool area was unique to Myrtle Beach. It was very enjoyable. The shuttle drivers were very friendly.
Cons: The girl we originally checked in with could use some hospitality training. Everyone else at the front desk we dealt with were fine. We arrived in town at 10:30 am(check in is at 4) but usually even with checkins that late you can get in your room by 1-2pm. I'm not sure why it took so long because the floors in our room were disgusting, our feet stayed black. It felt like you were walking in a greased frying pan. The bedding for the fold out sofa was all wadded up not folded.
Pros: Everything was wonderful. From staff to our staying! They always made sure we were welcomed, and it was simply beautiful! Will be back very, very soon!
The Cottages at North Beach Plantation is a great choice for your beach stay in Myrtle Beach. The outdoor pool and indoor pool provide fun for everyone, while guests in the mood for pampering can indulge in massages. The restaurant is a great spot for a bite to eat and cold drinks are served at the bar/lounge. Rooms feature kitchens and free WiFi.
Pros: I think this is one of the top hotels in the Myrtle Beach area. The staff is outstanding and everything is clean. They even allow you to bring your own beverages to the pool area as long as they are in a plastic cup. My second visit and not the last.
Cons: Nothing negative to add

Pros: The front desk staff and breakfast crew were fantastic! Very welcoming, kind and helpful!
Cons: The room smelled as if someone had been smoking in there. The water pressure in the shower was awful! The towels were very rough and there was not any shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom (3 tubes of body lotion). Not good to discover this once you are already in the shower!!!
Pros: Location was decent.
Cons: Hotel was under renovation and was extremely dirty. Check in was less than pleasant and the room key would not work. The 4th floor where I stayed smelled like a dirty ashtray. There was no bottled water in the room.
Pros: Short cab ride to the beach.
Cons: I had booked a few days in advance but when I arrived at the hotel, my room was not ready. The woman at the front desk was less than pleasant to deal with as well.
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Limited dining options

Pros: The room and hotel is nice, very comfortable beds, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming to you. It's a great place to be when r&r is much needed.
Pros: Location was great and convenient to broadway at the beach. Staff at check-in was very nice and hospitable!
Cons: Beds were horrible. Ever time you moved even a little you would hear a loud squeaking; I was somewhat concerned that I would end up on the floor after the bed collapsed. Beds were also lumpy and uncomfortable. One of the worst marriott brand hotels I've stayed at.
Pros: soft bed and pillows
Cons: Pubes in my bath area. questionable cleanliness.
Pros: Great, comfy beds and pillows. Toiletries provided and of good quality for those of use who always forget shampoo, conditioner, or both. Staff was amazing and felt secure staying there.
Cons: Wasn't close to any of my destinations.

Pros: William at check-in was great to work with. This was a quick family trip and the room was great( bed was very comfortable).
Cons: Paying to park
Pros: Were a family just passing through to our next stop. Hotel was clean and located halfway brtween broadway and boardwalk so everything was a short drive away if needed also if youre there for business at the convention center its right there
Cons: It is competing with other local resorts for beach location or water slides so itll always lose if youre looking for more fun in the sun.
Cons: The bed was very uncomfortable. The carpet had some stains.
Cons: Not actually ocean view room even though booked such, very rude staff.
Pros: Housekeeping staff was very nice and helpful, room was extremely clean, no musty smells that hotel rooms sometimes have. Beds and pillows super comfy.
Cons: The room did not have shampoo and only 3 towels. Front desk had lack luster service when we checked in.
Pros: Our stay at the Sheraton was perfect. Although we booked on July 3, the rate via Kayak was affordable and cost us 197 compared to the 279 booking through Sheraton would've cost.
The hotel is in close proximity to the oceanfront, restaurants, and Broadway at the Beach. So close in fact we were able to walk to the oceanfront and enjoy July 4th on the beach!
The hotel staff were prompt, courteous, and accommodating. The room was clean and had an oceanview. It was great!
Cons: Well, Kayak is a third party, so you will need to secure payment and ensure the hotel has your reservation via Kayak's Customer Service Department.
But they were accommodated and got us all squared away. I would definitely book through Kayak again.
Pros: The hotel was close to the beach without being in the middle of ocean blvd and all its crowds and traffic.
Cons: The parking was inconvenient. You had to pay to park, and the garage was not directly connected to the hotel. You had to take the elevator down to the pedestrian walk way and walk around the hotel with all your luggage. It would have been nice to bring bags in during the check in process and then park after, but parking in front of the building was extremely limited. Although the room was nice and clean with a great view, I wouldn't say it was worth the price.
Pros: It was very fancy with very reasonable prices.
Cons: It was very crowded.
Pros: Customer service
Pros: The staff
Cons: Toilet leaked on the floor all night. Had to use lobby bathroom
Pros: Rooms were very clean & staff was very friendly. A 5 min walk to the beach from the hotel so it was very convenient.
Cons: No breakfast included

Pros: This property was great. Beach was large, many pools on the property that could be used. Everything was clean, well manicured and inviting.
Cons: My only negative comment is that you have to be very careful navigating the property. Especially at night it can be very confusing. Make sure to follow the signs very carefully.
Pros: The location is great. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The accommodations were great and clean.
Cons: The add on resort fee.
Pros: that they offered shuttle service to thier spa and pool area and other local businesses that were near the hotel
Cons: the staff was impolite when asking questions about the room..when asked if there was an open room they seemed a little distracted from me and it appeared that were more concerned with getting people checked in then worry about the problems.. plus they wrote down the wrong room number for me and had to go back into the lobby and get it rechecked which went a little bit more smoothly with a different person assisting me
Pros: Loved location. Shuttle available. Maintenance had to come and change filter for ac. I ook a while to cool the room. Worst part of the trip: dirty coverlet at foot of bed and dirty bolsters had been taken off the bed and put in closet. I like Kingston plantation but I would not stay at the South Hampton again if possible.
Cons: See above
Pros: The villa was great didn't know what it would look like.
Cons: I didn't like that we couldn't have the pleasure of eating the breakfast and the happy hour at Embassy Suites, but got to enjoy the other perks they offered. I was a little disappointed about that . Was our first time using Kayak.
Pros: The location and the amenities like the restaurants inside the hotels
Cons: The villa we rented was outdated, looked old, had a dead water bug when we walked in, wasp nest on our patio, patio was not upkept, I wouldn't stay in the villas again only in the embassy suites on Kingston plantation

Pros: The location was awesome. There was so much nearby and could walk which make the location an A+. The hotel sits right on the beach and all you have to do is walk out which makes going to the beach great. The staff was pleasant to work with and willing to explore questions about bill.
Cons: The room seemed very small especially the bathroom and the kitchenette which is a nice touch to the room but a little much for that size room. The area for breakfast is extremely small and and tucked away.
Pros: The location was great; Right on the water and Ocean Boulevard.
Cons: We were there during spring break and it was very noisy late at night. We could hear the cars, loud radios, yelling until about 3 AM. I would recommend that make sure it's not spring break for college/high school kids when traveling to this location.
Pros: The location was great and the woman working the front desk was nice.
Cons: This hotel has no affiliation with the known "Holiday Inn" chain of hotels. How they can call themselves a Holiday Inn is a travesty. Also, I was looking forward to swimming when I checked in only to find out that the pool area was closed for renovations upon my arrival. My room was messy and there was clumps of hair and used tissues on the counter in my bathroom. And there was no food or hotel bar onsite. Lastly, the hotel advertises itself as a 3-star when in reality, it's probably a 1-star.
Pros: The room was clean and staff was friendly
Cons: Nothing bad to say really, the breakfast offered could of been better. Nothing wrong with it if you like your carbs.
Pros: We had an oceanfront room that was big enough to accommodate our needs. My grandchildren and I loved the indoor pool, lazy river, and jacuzzi. The pool and lazy river really were very warm and perfect for having something to do together. The breakfast was just fine, like being at home. The staff was great and very welcoming.
Cons: The facility is a bit dated and needs some renovations. That didn't change our stay any so it was okay. There are no outlets for charging your devices at the pool area or bathrooms but we made it work.
This oceanfront Myrtle Beach hotel is located on the Boardwalk, just 1 block from the SkyWheel, Pavilion and Pier 14. Broadway at the Beach is 1.7 miles from the hotel, and the Grand Strand is 2 miles away.
Holiday Inn – At the Pavilion features outdoor and indoor pools, a lazy river, spa tubs, a children's pool, and an oceanfront poolside bar. Guests can start the day with a complimentary continental breakfast. The hotel also offers a fitness center, a business center, and guest laundry facilities.
The 138 guestrooms include ocean-view balconies, kitchens, complimentary high-speed Internet access, free self-parking, and cable TV. In-room safes are also provided.
Pros: 2 blocks from the beach and near a pier. Great for a little weeekend getaway but not for couples.
Cons: Looks run down, needed quarters to get ice. Cramped space on floors to get to rooms. Air and refrigerator cooled down about 12 hours after we got there.
Pros: All in all its a good place to stay. Your close to alot of attractions. Its very clean. The staff are super nice. I would recommend it. I would stay there again. We were there a week and it was great.
Cons: I wish they would have had an elevator it was ruff climbing four flights of stairs.
Midtown Motel is just 3 mi (4.8 km) from the airport and offers a free shuttle (available on request). Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, and hiking/biking trails, parasailing, and surfing/boogie boarding are nearby. A seasonal outdoor pool, a children's pool, and a terrace are other highlights.
Pros: For the price, the location was great with access to the beach and plenty of restaurants and attraction nearby. Kingston Planation is very nice and well kept as far as the outdoor/grounds... Palmetto Vacations is a whole nother story!!
Cons: The condo we had on Cumberland Terrace (4D) was very outdated in terms of the décor, furniture and kitchen appliances. Items was from the 1970/1980s era. The condo appeared to be clean, however the last night there, we were greeted by mighty roaches crawling around in the kitchen and on the wall. We had to call twice to get a response from Palmetto Vacations and they moved us from the condo to another place, which we had to pack up and clean the condo at 1130 pm. When we spoke to Palmetto mgmt about our experience, they were very unapologetic, rude, and offered nothing to remedy the situation. Thank God our booking agent refunded some of the expense out of their own pocket. I would stay at Kingston Plantation again, but not thru Palmetto.
Situated by the ocean, Palmetto Vacation Rentals is a great choice for a stay in Myrtle Beach. After visiting the fitness center for a workout, you can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant or unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. Condos feature bonuses like kitchens and washers/dryers, along with balconies and DVD players.
Pros: Very comfy bed and hot shower. Beautiful view.
Cons: Parking, my car got written on referring to my sexuality, derogatory. No breakfast, no hot tub. Still $200
Pros: The hotel was very nice, but I'm not a picky type. That said, I slept in the hotel and was very comfortable. The room felt very clean for a hotel that sees a hell of a lot of traffic all year. The hotel bar was nice and the food was good. The hotel was pretty much at the southern end of Myrtle Beach which would be nice during summer months if you don't want overcrowding on the beach. Overall, our stay was pleasant.
Pros: Staff was very nice!!!
Cons: Was very disappointed as I booked a king room and upon checkin none were available. Bathroom door squeaked horribly. Refrigerator leaked into the floor and needed defrosted.
Pros: I really enjoyed my stay at the Springmaid Beach Resort. It was my first time traveling to Myrtle Beach from Chicago and my room and view did not disappoint. My room looked right out onto the ocean and included a private balcony. The rooms were a very nice size and comfortable.
The staff was great! Trey, the front desk clerk, was very friendly. After, I checked in I went to the bar in the lobby and Trey came over knew my first name and asked me how everything was. It is unusual for hotel employees to do that in my experience. Randy, the bartender, was also very friendly and extremely hospitable.
I enjoyed my time in Myrtle Beach and am looking forward to planning my next trip there. I will be staying at this resort again in the future!
Cons: I was confused on how to get to the front desk/lobby area at first. Not many signs but was able to locate it after a couple minutes.
Pros: Excellent room and right on the beach.
Pros: Room was clean, comfortable bed. Very nice view from balcony, grounds were well kept.
Cons: Would liked to have had a hot tub available.
Pros: I liked the cleaningness
Cons: Didn't like that the office checkin was a bit far off, it shows a disconnect btw management and clients.
Didn't like that the hotel didn't offer any water spots like jet ski rental or boat rentals.
Didn't like the fact that there was no decent restaurant in the facility for breakfast, lunch etc. It meant you needed to leave the hotel often for quick stops which takes the relaxation out of the vacation
Pros: Nice oceanfront view. Right on the beach. Loved the tropical sno stand. Kids loved the mini golf.
Cons: Pools not cleaned enough. Construction going on.
They changed full size refrigerator to very small compact one.
Cons: Paid for a room and didnt get what i paid for
Pros: Was a clean and nice room
Cons: Staff were horrible.
Pros: I liked that they have their own pier. And are right on the beach. The room was nice.
Cons: Outward appearance of the hotel is not very nice. Elevators smell so do the staircase. Pools are nothing fancy. VERY limited parking
Pros: I pretty much liked EVERYTHING, the bed was amazing , the view was beautiful access to the bear and the pier was perfect.

Pros: Early check in also clean the first night(only the first night)
Cons: Advised that rooms weren't cleaned daily only fresh towels.
With access to onsite surfing/boogie boarding, Grand Atlantic Ocean Resort is a great choice for your beach stay in Myrtle Beach. There's fun for everyone with the 2 outdoor and 3 indoor pools and lazy river, and guests can also take advantage of a fitness center. Scooby's (seasonal) serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Other highlights include a children's pool, and rooms offer balconies and flat-screen TVs.
Pros: Location, water parks and access to the ocean was good
Cons: The service was poor from day 1 till I got home and is still poor.
Day 1 - dirt or something around the toilet and tissue roll was broke. Fan above stove broke. broken knife in drawer. gave knife to lady who cleans rooms says not my job.
day 2 - Called about fan - still no knife returned -no one showed to fix fan- elevator stopped working, stuck on 3rd floor
day 3 - called again about fan and knife - no one cleaned room called for towels twice had to go get towels from main desk. got knife around 4pm
day 4 - no one cleaned room again, called about fan, now someone shows late that day.
day 5 check out, daughter left phone, called at 2 spoke to a fairly rude female, who showed no concern with taking my name or number and said some might call me tomorrow. called back at 6:30 and spoke to a very rude female who tried to hang up after saying the cleaning people went home at 4. I told here I called over 4 hours ago, she looked it up and said they found it but the lost and found person is gone and want be back till Wednesday and there is nothing that anyone can do. So I am still waiting to get my babies phone back.
Pros: Convenience, location business center and staff
Cons: Comforter on beds, seems outdated
Pros: I like that it had a lot to offer to families and was beach front!
Cons: I didn't feel that everything was clean. I SPRAYED my bed and that was about the only thing I sat on. The couches looked stained and my brother who slept on the pull out bed said it stinks.
Pros: It was very clean place to stay.
Good for toddlers
Cons: There is two sea crest hotels
I though i was staying in the one infront of the beach but instead they gave me a room that was not ocean view
I thought that was not good since i payed almost $600
Pros: The rooms were huge and comfy. We were right by the children's pool area, so I expected it to be loud, but it was not. The beach was great. We also enjoyed the Malibu beach bar and the entertainment at night. All of the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.
Cons: There were some areas where the ceilings and walls needed some cleaning. The pool areas were very nice but were always very crowded.
Pros: Very child friendly. Lots of things to do to entertain small children. Definitely a good family atmosphere.
Cons: Oceanfront queen suite was crowded for four people. I had stayed at this resort before and with the oceanview room with two queen beds we also had a sitting area with a sofa that gave us the extra room we needed to be more comfortable. Oceanfront was not worth the compromised space.
Location. Situated on the waterfront, this family-friendly Myrtle Beach property is only 3 blocks from Family Kingdom Amusement Park. SkyWheel, Market Common, and Broadway at the Beach are nearby.

Pros: staff very friendly, always love the dog friendly aspect of la quinta
Cons: floor of bathroom had a smear of something... not enough pillows, requested extra, they were all out. bed was a bit firm for my taste. shower water pressure and water temperature was the worst experience. ive never had a more disappointing shower at a hotel
Pros: Worst staff on the planet.
Cons: Went to check in. Idiot behind the desk could not find our reservation. Was not interested in searching for it. She was extremely rude and short with us. Ended up leaving and staying at a best western. Worst hotel experience I have ever encountered. The young lady behind the desk was extremely unprofessional and lacked any skills in customer service. I personally have several years in operations management and if my employees were ever like her, they would be terminated immediately. She even insulted my wife when we called her out for her lack of professionalism. Not sure how this one made it through the interview process.
