Pros: Nothing at all
Even the customer service was bad
Cons: I reserved my car online the day before and had confirmation. I Traveled from Nj to Sc with my toddler, car seat, stroller, and luggage. I got to budget to pick up my car they did not have any cars available and there was 'nothing that they could do"
I spoke with management and they said 'sorry' . We had to wait in the airport for FOUR HOURS BEFORE family from NC got there. Budget will never hear from me again and I will continue to share this story from hell

Great Agent there.
Pros: I'm glad the Myrtle Beach Grand Strand Mall location is open on Sunday's. That is helpful. The gentleman working there that day was very courteous and thorough. He was busy, but always kept smiling.
The vehicle rented was fine, certainly suited my needs.
Cons: When I picked up the car and drove off I realized it only had under a 1/4 tank of gas. I immediately called, he made a note of it on my rental agreement. That's fine but inconvenient to say the least. I was told the car was returned the day before and they didn't have time to gas it (yet). The vehicle had a very strong cologne smell. Not deodorizer but a cologne.

Cons: The car was not ready when I asked it to be and they asked me to come hours later. I accommodated and then the car they gave me smelled awful, reeked!! I asked for a freshener, the atenednant said she didn't have one... then I tried to drive off, reverse wasn't working properly. The mechanic on scene said I was driving the car improperly -/ what??? I'm 30... I know how to put a car in reverse. Then I started driving and the transmission was having issues, the car would not switch gears even after reaching 6 or 7... I went back again. The mechanic said I was driving the car wrong, then I urged him to take a ride with me. Then he was like "oh, actually you're right.." are you kidding me???? I demanded I get a new car, the attendant just shrugged said sorry. I called corporate two of your phone attendants just hung up on me after I asked for a supervisor because they were giving me no help. I finally got a car because a lady dropped hers off and saw how distressed I was. She told me to demand to take hers. So I took her dirty car..... horrifically bad experience.

Cons: Budget refused to rent me the car I reserved through KAYAK. I did not have a return ticket therefore I could not use a debit card. I do not have a credit card. Kayak should have told me that if idle one way I would not be allowed to rent a car without a credit card.

Cons: We were told one thing at the airport Budget desk but told another when we picked the car up from Sears Automotive. Unfortunately, we were lied to and Budget did not do anything to understand and help us out. Unfriendly service from the moment we picked the vehicle up from Sears. Never using Budget again.

Pros: Car was new, clean, comfortable and had great gas mileage.
Cons: We waited in the airport Budget line for the rental car for 1.5hrs which was bad enough but it was even worse that when we finally got to the front desk, we were notified our reservation was for the Budget location at the mall vs the airport. We were advised to take a taxi to the mall. Huge waste of time, more money spent and an inconvenience! When making the intitial reservation, I selected MYR and would not have known the airport address from the mall address. Additionally, the mall was not open on my return date so I had to pay extra money to return the car to the airport. Overall, the rental process was a very frustrating and somewhat unpleasant experience.
Pros: When we went to pick up car Maggie helped us she was friendly & helpful we where in and out in 10 min Great deal on the price of the renal and everyone was great would highly recommend Avis

Reservation for car ended up being at the local mall
Cons: The car reservation I made for my arriving flight was booked at the local mall rather than the airport. Had to cancel because they couldn't accommodate the change and then scramble to find another provider.

Pros: Worth going to this AVIS away from the airport taxes!
Cons: I had booked a compact car that would be equivalent to a Ford Focus....then offered a Kia Rio, which is a sub-compact....so to get a car that can fit my golf clubs I had to pay $5 more per day....that was unexpected.
Not sure why rental cars are always so much more expensive in the US than in other countries (where vehicles cost more to purchase)?

Pros: The rental agent was concerned that the vehicle we had booked might not be comfortable enough and found a coupon to upgrade us to the next level of vehicle (Ford Taurus). We had a late flight departing and the car was due 6 hours before and he found a way for us to have the car beyond our return time.

Pros: The cars are very clean and newer. We did have an issue with our first car, we were able to get back to the rental area and swap out with no issues. Take the short cab ride to Avis in the Coast Grand Mall, no wait, very polite and we were able to drop off at the airport. Will use Avis again!
Cons: Unfortunately we had an issue with our first car and had to take time out of our vacation to return to rental area, advisor made process simple which helped a lot.

Pros: Value and easy pick up and drop off
Cons: At pick windows dirty out side mirrors dirty no window washer fluid needed it very badly with truck spray with snow and sleet. Had to buy some and put it in so I could see the road.
Pros: The size of the vehicle was good and the staff was polite.
Cons: To start we requested that we get a rental at the airport but was assigned a car rental offsite which caused an extra cost to get there. Once we were there the car smelled like cigarettes and ran poorly. They did not have another car in that category to rent so we took what was offered. Make sure when you book with kayak that you get what you requested before finalizing the transaction!!!

Cons: When I arrived at Enterprise they were understaffed. Had to call in workers and people waiting to rent cars. No car available for me until someone happened to bring a car in. Quickly they washed the car and gave it to me.
Honestly not happy. A lot of wasted time waiting around. :(

Cons: The booking was messed up not there fault I agree because I booked it on Hotwire but the wouldn't help me get a car said none available??? I would have to wait till one came in ??? So I rented one from hertz all good there but as I drove around Myrtle beach area saw several enterprise rental lots full of cars don't they transfer cars from lot to lot ???
