Great location, close to Nyhavn but in a much quieter street nearby. Facilities were good. Staff were lovely. We booked early and got a really great deal in terms of price.
Cleaner seemed to forget to restock our shampoo, soap etc. Thats the only negative I can think of!
Location is great; rooms are small but you wouldn't want to stay in the rooms too long anyway! Nice restaurant/bar at the hotel and access to the best Copenhagen has to offer. Easy access to the underground for the airport if required.
Rooms very small and passage ways very narrow. Difficult with luggage as no space in the room.
Beautiful rooms and facilities
Shower a little small, but worth it for the beautiful property and fantastic location
The hotel is in an excellent location, very convenient for the metro to the airport, transport links and in a lovely part of Copenhagen. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, both at reception and at breakfast. Breakfast offered a good and plentiful choice. The hotel is in two linked old buildings, arranged around a covered atrium. Our room overlooked this and was quiet. Decor was restful and a nice blend of old and modern. (It would have been interesting to know more about the history and architecture of the building). Beds were comfortable, and we appreciated having two luggage racks..
We thought that the hotel was more designed for short stays, rather than the five night break we had. Storage space (hanging and shelves) was very limited. The 'deluxe' room was small, with one twin bed almost against the wall, and a very narrow bathroom. There was no room for a heated towel rail, so we had to have fresh towels every day. On one day, these did not arrive and on two days the beds were not made up. There was also only one chair for a double room.
This boutique hotel is housed in buildings dating back to the 17th century and is located in a central yet quiet area. Nyhavn Harbour is just around the corner and Kongens Nytorv Metro Station is 500 metres away. The rooftop terrace offers views of Copenhagen. The modern rooms feature a stylish Copenhagen design, a TV, minibar and a private bathroom, including a hairdryer and organic toiletries. The on-site restaurant The Shrimp offers a selection of American and seafood dishes and an extensive wine list. Guests can also unwind in the lounge with a cocktail and snacks from the adjoining Bar, The Club. Guests can rent bicycles at the reception to explore Copenhagen. Within 5 minutes walk from the hotel is Amalienborg Castle and the Royal Danish Theatre. Central bus routes are right by the property.
