Service was great and very helpful. Value for the money -- this is a standard Hilton Garden hotel and the location is good if you're there for OSU, but you definitely pay for that convenience.
The Corvallis Hilton is a very nice facility with a very nice location next to the Oregon State University Campus which is walking distance from Reser Stadium and Gill Coliseum. The bed was very firm. So much so that it was difficult to get a good nights sleep. There is no continental breakfast. They have a breakfast buffet but it was fairly expensive.
Downtown. Street people wandering around. Inhospitable staff. Dirty carpet. Had to ask for fresh linen each day.
Bed was comfortable, sheets were decent. Everything. It's a DUMP!!!! And ridiculously expensive, $250 a night!!!! NO nightstands, nasty old carpet, dingy and dark room. In the middle of the night the toilet tank completely broke, water all over the floor and inch deep, carpet outside the bathroom got wet. We didn't have a toilet for 6 hours, they didn't even offer us a discounted rate. Don't ever ever ever stay here!!!!!
It was a good value. Clean. Good location. Friendly staff. Walking distance to restaurants and bars.
Close to the college, close to downtown, walking distance of lots of restaurants and grocery store. Clean, friendly staff, amazing rates! Nothing fancy, modernizing all the time. WIll chose it every time i visit my daughter at OSU. If I HAVE TO say something I didn't like, I would say the bathroom is tiny.
Main, heart of city location near close by facilities. Everything served for value in relationship to cost.
Questionable clientele. I think tweakers were staying next door. Pretty much a sketchy dump...
ProffessionalNd courtuous reception staff. Spacious facility. Plenty of parking space. Very decent lobby Cold coffee in the reception area
Very clean and the rooms were nice. The bed was extremely comfortable. The front desk staff were down to earth and very helpful.
The staff was truly wonderful!
Good breakfast, nice facilities and staff. Stayed two nights and there was no maid service. The fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy. Shower head was really high.
Katie, the property manager was very responsive and took care of our concerns. The other staff, Ron, didn't care to address our needs. Two issues 1) The keys to the room did not work. We were told no other rooms were available as an alternative. And we were asked to to wait for 24 hours until the issue would be fixed. We had to ask the front desk staff to let us in the room every-time. The issue was fixed after a day. 2) We requested and booked a non-smoking room. But was provided with a smoking room that was morphed into a non-smoking room. Horrible smell in the room.
Grew up in Corvallis. Their for 50th High School Reunion.
Breakfast area was not attended and most everything was out when we got there..
Convenient location convenient location and parking. Breakfast could hardly be called that. A make it your self waffle, and no protein dish. Using Wi-Fi was much slower than keeping it turned off.
It was located at one end of the wonderful river-front district with great restaurants and brew pubs within an easy walk. We actually walked through town and around OSU from the hotel, and back to OSU for a football game, so it IS within walking distance of almost everything. The front desk staff was courteous, helpful, and professional. This hotel is extremely dated given that it is not, in my opinion, inexpensive. Vinyl bathroom floor has cuts and breaks, carpet is old, beds & furnishings are old. The halls smell very musty and of stale cigarette smoke. I think this may be fairly standard for this college town because of the demand during special events. When I visit Corvallis in a few months, I plan on staying farther out of town for significantly less money.
close to where I was working. Sheets clean. I had a ground floor room and the carpet looked like it had never been replaced ever. I made sure my flip flops were ever near so I never had to step on it.. Gave the room a mustee smell. AC worked but didn't look like it had been cleaned. Wondered about the filter.
Clean & great value! The bed was springy.
Chose this specific facility in Corvallis because of a) the price, and b) the indoor pool for my 4 year old. The room appeared clean, but as I spent a little time there, I noticed things that needed attention such as the hook on the back of the bathroom door that was loose. When I took my socks off after walking around the room in them for a while, they were filthy on the bottoms. The pool is an indoor pool, but feels like it is not a heated indoor pool.
Location. Close to OSU. Non smoking room right next door to a smoking room. Therefore room smelled like cigarettes.
Nice hotel, very quiet Location...next to an Adult Store
Friendly staff. Nice pool. Pretty good breakfast. Breakfast is decent but not as good as it used to be. (I miss fresh fruit and yogurt.)
The room was large and comfortable, full breakfast included. Easy on and off freeway. Clean and comfortable rooms. Would stay if we returned hete I set up reservation for a Wednesday check-in, but site set it up for Tuesday. Luckily the manager had no problem to change for right day. They said it happens a lot.
Adult shop next to it. Poor location. Not clean. Stains on sheets. Office chair picked up from dumpster
The bed The adult shop next door
Everything Yes we did , very clean place we will be staying again and recommended to my friends and family. Keep up the good work.
The hotel was inexpensive and the room was very clean. The hotel was extremely dated feeling and the staff was very unprofessional. The common areas also felt very cluttered and unkempt.
Clean, comfortable and good access to city. Quiet at night. No complaints
The staff helped me find a Veteran's Day celebration to participate in. The staff was wonderful, kind and thoughtful! No
Decent breakfast, nice beds and comforters

The room I had was very nicely sized and furnished. It seemed well maintained and clean. However very borderline 2-1/2 star, more like 2. I felt like I was getting kicked out. Phone call at 9 to see if I was gone, then a knock an hour later to check. 11:00 checkout. Please respect that. I'm use to the hotel breakfasts with my travel. It was awful. Cold eggs & potatoes, seemingly day old.
The room was pretty big, the bedding was nicely done, and the bed was comfortable. the decor is a bit dated (especially the ceiling), the washroom layout was a bit weird (sink area was outside the washroom. It's also one of those shower/bath combos which I find very weird. Do people actually take baths at a hotel?
location, breakfast, comfy beds and balcony Could hear people everything in room above mine

Great location nice hotel Nothing
TJ The snacks in the lobby was such a nice surprise, especially when you're traveling with children. The gentleman who checked us in when we arrived Friday evening was so nice and friendly and welcoming - very positive first impression. The lady who works the hotel's breakfast service was a little odd. She seemed to hover and be overly involved with guests for my taste.
We stayed here based in part on other ONLINE TRAVEL WEBSITE reviews, and mostly liked the hotel very much. Our mattresses, however, were of obviously low quality. Graunch, squeak, wobble ... that is what happens anytime you move the slightest amount. I woke up with a backache every day. There may not be any better choices in Corvallis though, as the town isn't exactly chock full of hotels. Other than the mattress complaint, things were great. The included breakfast is much better than at many hotels, the staff was great and the rooms were very clean. Four stars in all.
Hotel overall was very clean. The receptionist was very attentive and had me checked in very quick. The beds were extremely comfortable, room was clean and odor free. Had a nice view of the river which I did not expect. The hotel is close to banks, grocery store, and various restaurants. I will definitely stay when I'm back in town.
I was expecting a continental breakfast, and was surprised to see bacon, eggs, and many more items offered, a nice surprise for sure! We have stayed here twice on weekend visits and have always had tremendous service.
Conveniently located. Pretty property, nice staff. Enjoyed our stay immensely!
Excellent service. Great location near downtown, major roads, restaurants and pubs, and walking distance to OSU campus, and a great view over the Willamette River. Wonderful hot breakfast, cookies and peanut butter sandwiches every evening, all included. Rate is on the high end for Corvallis but entirely reasonable.
My first choice in motels in Corvallis is the Holiday Inn Express. The rooms are spacious, always clean and quiet, and the beds are the best! We also appreciated the recliner for those of us who like to sit up and read or watch TV. The desk staff are always friendly and helpful, particularly for guests who need good directions. Any requests made to the front desk were answered politely and professionally. The breakfast selections are fairly standard fare, but good. The river view is a plus, but this site is a winner whether the room is on the street side or river side. Corvallis is a college town, so advanced reservations are important, particularly during football season!
We have been staying at this hotel once a year, for 4 years. We love it. Very clean and the best staff you will ever find. Love the view of the river! AND..the cookies and P&B sandwitches at the end of the night. This year we were there for the 4th of July. The fireworks the city put on were right above us. The hotel staff provided kids with glow sticks and sidewalk chalck plus, ice cream sundae's. So much fun
This hotel was by far the best in Oregon. We spent a week and stayed at three other hotels that were more expensive and were not in this league at all. The hotel rates were excellent, the room very clean and we felt very secure. The view of the river was a plus. We will stay there again.
Rooms are very comfortable, with high-quality linens, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker etc. Spotless indoor spa & heated pool. Nice staff, and loved the breakfast bar & late night cookies!
We had an excellent experience at this hotel. The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly. The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was very good.. The breakfast alone had to save us at least $40 a day in food expense. We really enjoyed our stay, and will totally return again. Thank you Holiday Inn Express.
The beds were comfortable, the pillows were soft. The room was warm, clean and perfect for our needs. The add promised a microwave and a mini fridge. Our room had neither
It was in the town I was visiting Very dated. For the same price you can find hotels that are updated and serve a breakfast that is more than an apple and a cup of coffee.
I gave one star because the floors creaked from the rooms above And all you heard was squeak, squeak ALL night. Plus rooms are Very dated.
The hotel was close to the aquatic center where my daughter's swim meet was being held. The hotel itself is filthy. I took several photos which I plan on sharing with Days Inn/Wyndham. I am in shock that the health department hasn't been notified. The pictures and online marketing were grossly misleading, and we didn't even feel comfortable taking off our shoes. There were ants in our bed, the faucets leaked, the halls had an overwhelming smell of stale urine, and the so-called continental breakfast was ridiculous at best. Do not waste your money.
Pets stay free Dirty and in desperate need of upgrades
Looking for a simple motel to sleep with no frills and a cheap price, this is the place. Skip the breakfast of coffee flavoured water and generic Twinkies. At the cheap price of the motel, eat some place local, several choices within walking distance.
Check in/out was easy. Also, my room and the facility overall seemed reasonable clean and taken care of.
The location was perfect for my needs- close to downtown and easy access to the road to Albany. The room was clean and there was cable t.v., and good water pressure in the shower. Nothing special to speak of, but a decent, budget-type hotel that works for business trips. The t.v. didn't work quite right- always scrambling before accepting a new channel. The internet only worked 50% of the time. There was a dirty hand rag left in my shower from the previous guest that was left by staff. The security lock/latch on my door was broken in half, so it basically provided me no security. The door looked as if it had been kicked in at some point. The bed was decent, but not super comfortable. The air conditioning unit is LOUD, so loud I had to turn it off just so I could get some sleep. Staff was moderately friendly, but when I mentioned that the door latch was broken, the response was lukewarm as if it didn't really matter to them.
Staff were friendly and accomdating for a young family. I was traveling with a newborn, and the staff allowed me late checkout to finish feeding my son. The fridge was good for storing milk. Staff made sure my sister and her two kids were in next room over. They also had a good experience. My sister is 5 months pregnant, and she liked the selection at breakfast and thought the bed was comfortable. Good hotel location! Only 1 trash can in the entire room.
Terrifically helpful desk staff. I had come to town to enroll my son in the university. Staff told me not only info I requested, but offered things like the free bus service, local stores for students and other helpful hints. He was a highlight of the trip Terrible continental breakfast. Hot water was tepid. Wafflemaker was not hot enough to crisp the waffle. No protein options ie yogurt or hard boiled egg. Just cheap tasteless carbs. Unable to adjust too hot heat in room. Had to open window and hear traffic all night. Too expensive for a basic albeit clean room. No amentities like a shower cap.
It was very clean, the rooms and lobby looked freshly painted. The bed was comfortable. The decor and amenities were spartan: no art, no tissue in the room. There was a minimal amount of covers on the bed and I had to ask for more. There was no wine opener at the desk for guests to use so I walked across the street to Trader Joes and bought one for me and one for their desk for $1.99 each. The hotel had signs saying they were environmentally minded so reuse your towels yet they only had styrafoam cups for coffee in the room and the dining area. It was a very affordable stay but a couple of small touches as listed below would have made my stay better.
Breakfast was great Wish the best was bigger
It is convienent for us since family and friends live right in town and we don't inconvenience them! Nothing!
Extremely friendly and great customer service
The Prairie Inn is a diamond in the rough. Albany, OR isn't the most interesting town, but the Best Western Prairie Inn was an absolute oasis. It's about a 20 minute drive to Corvallis, and doesnt have many attractions around it, but the hotel was clean and had great amenities. The continental breakfast was above average, which was the icing on the cake. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area! The surrounding area was boring, and only had a handful of mediocre restaurants nearby.
Nice staff, decent breakfast. First floor rooms are in the basement. Dark with very little lighting.
Front Desk was pleasant Chair in room was comfortable bed was OK too. the add said there was a fitness room, there was NOT!! the access to the property is confusing, need a better sign as to where to turn. the coffee pot was dirty, not rinsed after the last customer.
Not to much. I booked the Super 8 in Albany Oregon through hotels.com. I showed up Friday at 4pm and the first thing I noticed is the cluster of tile boxes out front between parking lot and the front entrance. If your going to remodel keep it organized and out of sight. When I booked my room for one person all they had was 2 Queen one room for $89.14 Friday and $139.23 Saturday, I was surprised they were not full Friday and I wasn't told about a single room with only one bed and I should have been given that room and a better rate. The bathroom light blub was out. I brought the old bulb the Linda at the front desk and ask if she could get this fixed. I left the hotel and came back after 10:pm. Went into my room and found that the light had been changed to a new LED that was cool. I had noticed all the video cabling dropping with cameras all around. I thought that maybe I should move my car up front. I parked my car next to the tile and in a parking spot where there was a old sign that read no parking reserved. I thought that you can't save parking spots? Reserved for who? I thought that since I going to leave early the next day that may it would be OK to park there. I went up to the desk were Linda was still working and thanked here for getting the new bulb. Then I went up to my room, after 10 minutes I got a call to move my car. "No one is to park in that spot". It was suppose to be for employees only. (They probably need to see the burglars breaking into there car) I came down and moved my car. Then I ask if maybe they could change there old sign to read "STAFF PARKING ONLY". That's when the new girl pipes up and says "Oh your the man that parked in the our spot" I should have not stayed here.
The beds were terrible, right next to a freeway, and airlanes overhead. The lighting was poor, and there were not enough electrical outlets available in convenient places.
Nice staff, clean, comfortable Light burned out above sink but they took care of it.
Shower walls falling apart, room was clean, bedding was very nice but you need 4 pillows on the king beds. The new paint colors are great, love the fridge, micro, coffee pot and dryer. The staff was very friendly, location perfect for attending the Festival. The price was about $20 higher then others I have stayed with all the same amenities included. Why should we have to pay more for a non smoking room?
I was extremely pleased by this facility. The quality was far better than I expected for the very affordable price ... Thick towels (one of my favorite gauges of quality), comfortable bed/pillows, and superior cleanliness. Breakfast was also included but we had other plans so I'm not able to comment on it.
We spent one night in the hotel; the room was large, spotless and well appointed to include a microwave and mini-fridge. The hotel was totally smoke free, was close to the interstate and next door to the county fairgrounds; a perfect location for my daily walk. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was very quiet. The continental breakfast included all the hot and cold items we could ever want. We would definately stay again.
This is a very nice place and a great value.
very clean rooms, comfortable beds, all suites. I just loved this hotel. hot tub, pool, nice continental breakfast. the rooms even had stocked plastic silverwear and paper plates. in room coffee and tea. I would stay again..
staff that I had contact with were helpful and pleasant checkout time at 11:00 was a little early for me
large rooms, quiet Beds were a bit hard, slightly funky hotel smell.

The staff was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. The eggs at the compimentary breakfast were amazing! My main criticism about the complimentary breakfast is that eggs were not served every day. I would encourage anyone to stay here, if only, to try the eggs. The room and the hallways were very nice and clean, as I have come to expect of a Holiday Inn. I really liked the carpeting in the hallways. I was very dissappointed by the pool and spa. First, I would recommend to bring your own pool towel, because the pool towels at the fitness facility and the pool are much too small to actually be used by anyone but toddlers. Second, the outside of the pool surface was very rocky. It hurt to walk around the pool or between the pool and the spa without shoes on. The pool was nice once I got in and had very convenient hours. The spa was very uncomfortable to sit in because the jets came out too far from the outside of the spa. I was forced to lean into the middle of the spa in order to enjoy the jets. I would recommend the Holiday Inn to anyone who wants a very clean place to stay with a very attentive staff. I would also recommend the Holiday Inn to anyone who enjoys a solid complimentary breakfast and everyone who likes eggs, because they were delicious! I would not recommend the Holiday Inn if you intend to spend any time swimming or working out because the facilities are very subpar, particularly for a Holiday Inn. I do hope they put some money into improving the swimming pool area and spa, because the proximity to the freeway is ideal and the room, staff, and layout are superior to neighboring hotels.
My daughter and I were at the horse expo at the event center next door and decided we didn't want to drive back home. We stopped at The Holiday Inn Express hoping they would have a room. They had one left and the desk person was very friendly!. I was amazed at how clean the room was and how wonderful the continental breakfast was. I would absolutely recommend this fine hotel to anyone!
Bed wasn't as comfortable as I would have expected.
Ummmm.....the price wasn't too bad....but I guess you get what you pay for. The bed was like sleeping on plywood, except for the springs and burnholes. The pillows were tiny, but in keeping with the theme they felt like rocks wrapped in Pillow cases. It was a smoking room so it absolutely reeked. At least the window was open. 45

Nothing It smelled. It was dirty. It had a lot of damage to the room. I've stayed in 1 star motels before but this was the worst. Never again
Close Location to the event I was attending. PRICE Noise neighbors above me ALL NIGHT. Lost sleep!!! I am NOW aware of how OLD this motel is and understand why the rate is as low as it is. I would NEVER take my wife there, but I might stay there again myself only because it is inexpensive.
Close to freeway. Staff was very friendly Non smoking room smells like a smoking room. Clothes from last guest left in dresser. Room could use some updating and repairs. Floors were dirty needing vaccuming.
Easy access right off the freeway without the freeway noise. Very nice staff. Clean room, dated but comfortable, it met my needs. Nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room. Very hot weekend the air conditioner kept the room very cool. The ice machine was broken, with 100 degree temps.
It was right off the freeway and I was tired Everywhere you looked in the office and in the room were little and someties not so little warning signs telling people how much they would be charged or penalized for one thing or another
Older property was clean and kept up. The dead bolts did not work making the door somewhat questionable Dead bolts pn door were inoperable
Cheap, my stay was because of construction at my house, and I had no power or water for 24 hrs. I just needed a place to lay my head. For that it was ok. But I knew the area going there..... Cleanliness could have been much better. Area was right beside a trailer park, kind of low rent neighborhood. For a traveing couple, don't expect 5 stars, sleep and leave. All the bad descriptions were spot on.If all you want is cheap...then this is the pla
it was a cheep room and that is all we needed for1 night
I got to Albany early and the staff went and clened my room. The room was very clean. I will stay there again when I visit my granddaughter at the childrens fame home NO
nothing, cold and dirty. everything, cold and dirty
Good location. Over priced in comparison to Motel 6. Had to pay ahead of time (vs. being able to cancel up to day of stay like Motel 6. Got less than Motel 6 at greater cost than Motel 6.
Absolutely nothing. Had it not been for this true fact...NO ROOMS TO BE HAD ANYWHERE WITHIN 50 miles and I had no car. came in from out of town for mothers funeral. Did NOT GIVE A REFUND EITHER.... Brought me towels without brown spots. Bugs in bed. Brown spots on graying towels, Eye makeup on sheets, Cigarette burns on blankets, room awful, grounds disaster Road noise atrocious Service Bad. Huge event going on in a large area. No other rooms anywhere. Had to stay. mother's funeral....
Definitely a retro motel hotel. Very simple accommodations, clean and quiet. It has a small stove, refrigerator & microwave, but no dishes, pans, etc. It'd be a great inexpensive place to stay for a week or two. It's not a 'luxury' hotel, it's a very simple place, clean and quiet.
The location was nice and easily found. I chose this hotel because of the high ratings it received, but the room was not clean, there were ants all over the microwave and refrigerator, we were charged more than other people claim to have paid and what their website states.
right off the highway we were using and close to a great place to eat (Good Eats and Treats, recommend their pulled pork sandwich!) it was smaller than expected, almost cramped for 2 people, although very clean, but good enough for 1 night
Terrible service. I arrived later than planned & found my room had been given away because apparently my credit card had been declined but when I used it to pay for the only room they had it worked fine & manager wouldnt give me a copy of the receipt.
