Visiting Disneyland Paris is a bucket-list item and when staying at Disney’s Sequoia Lodge, everything is taken in consideration from outfitting rooms with American lodge-style décor all the way to having transportation that takes guests from the hotel to the park and vice versa at no additional cost. The dining options at the lodge include the Hunter’s Grill and Beaver Creek Tavern or the Redwood Bar and Lounge. The grill is a place for a more formal meal, and the bar is a great place to unwind after a day spent at the park. There are other great amenities too, this includes a pool and a fitness center, so being active is definitely part of your stay at this lodge.
The rooms at Disney’s Sequoia Lodge are everything that people expect when they book a stay at a Disney resort, and the rooms at the lodge are divided between standards rooms and the Golden Forest resort. Some of the rooms of both types are lake side rooms, and while others do not have the lake view. The Golden Forest rooms have some additional benefits, but the benefit that is probably the favorite among most people is the FASTPASS that is included with these rooms. Some standard rooms are located closer to hotel services, which means it is easier to access transportation, restaurants, and other options.
Disney’s Sequoia Lodge is the perfect place for people who want a great Disney experience. This hotel is exactly what people expect when they book at a Disney resort.

Pros. Breakfast very poor
Pros. Like staying on Disney property for the convenient location and park perks. Rooms were clean. Enjoyed our time in Disney and Paris from this property. The bus shuttle was so nice at times but advise you walk if you miss the Extra Magic Time to enter the park early otherwise you’ll be queuing with the crowds at the main entrance instead of the entrance for hotel guests only.
Cons. Staff were friendly but a bit reluctantly accommodating than we’re used to at Disney properties (took a couple requests before we could get a fan). The room is sparse on electrical outlets (only 2 functioning plugs - 1 more available if you want to keep the lights on all night while using it) made it a little difficult to charge devices, run a fan, and a sleep apnea device all at once. Had to request an extension cord in order to use the sleep apnea device as there are no plugs near either bed.
Pros. Helpful staff, fire place, kid friendly. Golden Forest package is good value.
Cons. My 5 year old is a coeliac so we knew we might run into trouble. We were offered a choice of cakes and biscuits from a gluten free basket of pre-packed goods. None of which are good to be giving a 5 year old for breakfast. The staff did provide an allergen menu from the chef so we could work out what was safe from the buffet. However we’d no guarantees on cross contamination. There was fruit and yoghurt available too but gluten-free bread/cereal selections weren’t offered to her. Other hotels in Italy produced the same type of pre-packed sweet options at breakfast so this is not the first time we encountered issues with coeliac food options at Hotels. I would suggest to coeliacs to bring your own bread or cereal if you don’t want to have eggs and cakes for breakfast.
Pros. The service we received at check in and at the concierge was good. Room is themed well, and was pretty quiet. Ten minute walk to the parks.
Cons. Worst hotel shower ever: no water pressure and shower hose kept popping out of the water faucet. Hard beds. Very few outlets: there were only two in the main room and one didn't work. And none were close to the beds so it was impossible to charge your phone on the nightstand. We ran out of tissues one morning and when they weren't replaced when we returned that evening, I called housekeeping to ask for more, and they said they'd bring them right away. Never got more over the rest of our stay. We had a server at the Redwood Bar who yelled at us for asking if we could sit next to the fireplace. He said "WE ARE FULL! You sit here [in the corner] !!!" There were several tables open on the other side of the fireplace, I assume he just didnt want to have to walk farther to serve us.
