10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and quiet. Just what I needed after a long day!
Cons: Nothing, except I wish it was a bit nearer where I worked, but that’s not their fault!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was beautiful and quiet. The host was extremely accomodating and polite. The room itself was clean and tidy and had nice touches - tea making facilities, bottle of water and fresh clean linen. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great country location with a nice pub in the village
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The host is very friendly and very welcoming. The room is independent of the house, two bedrooms are next to each other and yet it's better soundproofed than in some hotels. Breakfast is good, the place is really quiet, the place is really clean too. I recommend it !
Cons: I would not mention the small negatives because they are minimal and the value for money is very good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bedroom was well equipped, loved that I had a private terrace. Excellent and very quiet location. Spotless clean.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Food was great, staff were friendly, room was clean and comfortable and location was lovely.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, and great food.
Cons: Liked EVERYTHING about it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a fabulous place to stay. The staff were so welcoming and the pub is a quirky mix of modern and traditional, with a wide range of drinks on offer. Our room was well equipped and spotlessly clean. The food was first-class (we had both lunch and breakfast) with generous portions and a varied choice. We felt that they couldn’t do enough for us, and we will definitely be going back.
Cons: Nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room, very peaceful environment. Friendly staff - great breakfast!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, well stocked bar, great restaurant. Rooms a good size, with tea/coffee facilities
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Impressive breakfast for a small facility like this. The big Hotel chains need to look and learn what means personal touch in looking after your customer.
Cons: Friendly staff and high standards of hospitality with renovated rooms , clean facilities great service every single day
8.8 Excellent
Pros: All staff very pleasant. Room large and clean. Its a pub with accommodation so nice to be able to have a beer if wanted. Good village location. I had a cooked breakfast which was good but they had a range of other options if you don't want a full English. I enjoyed my brief one night stay.
Cons: It's an old building albeit well maintained. I'm tall so in places it feels cramped. However, that's also the beauty and part of the character of the place. If the pub's busy parking can be an issue although you can park on the lane which runs past the pub.

4.5 Okay
Cons: Tv didn’t work, phone didn’t work. Windows wouldn’t stay open
6.3 Good

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Style of the property. Different functions-a wedding was taking place and locals attended ‘burger night ‘
Cons: n/a
7.0 Good
Pros: Beautiful property.
Cons: Could do with a sheltered area for smokers.
7.0 Good
Pros: Day staff at reception the morning of departing was very friendly and professional. Apologised for the night manager and offered us free coffee before we left. Room clean.
Cons: Upon late night arrival (24hr reception) no member of staff present. Attempted several times to call night manager, no answer. He arrived approximately 30 mins late, said 'oh look my phone's flat'. No apology from manager or recognition we had been waiting 30 mins. We were interested in maybe ordering food, attempted to dissuade us from ordering as it seemed he didn't want to make them. Very unprofessional, not worth 75 pounds for the stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was extremely good, the staff very attentive and food was very good quality. We attended a wedding reception and stayed overnight in suite on the top floor. We ha a delightful stay.
Cons: Nothing!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful, and knowledge about the local area. Food was very good, a great selection on the breakfast menu, to suit everyone, and the evening meals were very good. They offered a grab and go breakfast for those wishing to go to the F1 early, and a grab and go lunch to take with you. On the whole a very good two nights stay. The location was nice and quite, nice and relaxing.
Cons: To me the only downside were the size of the single bed's, a double pulled a part. The price is the only other thing l can think of as downside, pulse prepayment and losing the whole amount of cancelled.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff Great breakfast In room coffee service
Cons: Bathroom products Air conditioning didn’t work
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Love the location, just off the motorway but quiet
Cons: Clean and tidy rooms, excellent bar and restaurant with attentive and friendly staff
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff were very helpful, and could not do enough for us.
Cons: The king sized bed, was two beds pushed together. Disappointed at cost we paid for the Saturday night, compared to the cost for the Sunday night. Had we booked it on the day before we arrived, instead of a week before, it would have been half the cost.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had an excellent ground floor room with a large bed - the most comfortable that we have ever had at any hotel anywhere ( would have taken it home if I could). The Breakfast was also very good with a great choice of food and beverages - they even cooked the eggs to order !!!!!! We will be returning - Thank you
Cons: Nothing

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good andvwe got just what we wanted, we have stayed there few times and always very satisfied.
Cons: Unfortunately our room was right over the Frog and Nightgown which was bit noisy as it was lovely weather and everyone was sitting outside, but not too much of a problem.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Full English breakfast was very good and arrived quickly, with good coffee and a good buffet of cereals, nuts. fruit, juice etc. Car park was full but public one opens straight onto it and free until 11 a.m. next day, so no problem.
6.3 Good
Cons: Room was very warm, fan was supplied - didn’t really help. Cooked breakfast was not kept hot - was warm at best.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed extra comfy
Cons: Tired looking rooms
9.5 Excellent
Pros: easy to park on street outside, comfortable room., good wifi and great breakfast
5.0 Okay
Pros: I guess the location is ok and the rooms had locks on them
Cons: Car park isn’t clearly signed, I seemed to pay £20 more for a room than everyone else, noisy pipes in the bathroom
6.8 Good
Pros: This would have got 5 stars but for the ridiculous policy of not allowing food that was not cooked by the hotel in the room Staff were nice, breakfast was very good - the room was basic and not very clean but it was cheap
Cons: It is situated in the middle of a town but no food allowed in the room!!! - I have never come across this before Lets be honest everyone will ignore this rule but you dont want to be treated like a criminal after you have paid for your room The owners need to grow up and realise that this is a hotel and not their private house

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast choice good. Dinner good value. Rooms had everything we needed and were comfortable and clean. Lent us a fan as no air-conditioning.
Cons: Air conditioning in rooms would have made it more comfortable.
7.0 Good
Pros: Rooms were good and clean
Cons: The location was in a motorway break and there were construction work in the motorway so you have to travel a lot to get into the hotel from Milton Keynes although it takes ten only minutes from Melton Keynes centeral, you may drive like 40 min if the exit to break from inside Melton Keynes is blocked by the maintenance road work.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: The reception manager, supposedly Simon had zero people skills & was rude. We went up to the floor where the room was & it smelt worse than a sewer! The room was warm with cob Webb’s & god know what over the internal window seal.... it wasn’t great!
7.0 Good
Pros: Next to the motorway. Good access to services. Comfy bed.
Cons: A bit out of the way from MK. There were roadworks so accessing the property was difficult at times. Air con did not seem to work
6.3 Good
Cons: Cost of £140 for one night was nt worth £140 when everyone else paid £69
2.5 Mediocre

4.3 Okay

5.5 Okay
Pros: The rooms were very small. The toilet and bathroom had no doors. Therefore no privacy when using the loo. Not very convenient for such a small room. The double bed barely squeezed into the space
Cons: Very small room size. Toilet and shower with no doors directly in the room.
6.3 Good
Pros: AC good. Bed OK but not propery made.
Cons: Very small compact room. Couldn't swing a cat around! Only one bath towel. Didn't like the open shower cubicle in the bedroom. Freeview TV reception poor wouldn't pick up a number of given channels.
7.0 Good
Cons: Floor was dirty and hairs all over bed when we arrived wasn’t very good
6.3 Good
Pros: was good
Cons: Rooms were not maintained well
6.8 Good
Pros: Good parking facilities, although we needed to find the entrance to it. Clean room, though compact but having coffee tea facilities, free Wi-Fi
Cons: Apparently this is an open plan hotel - meaning that the room we had , had no door to the bathroom / toilet only a division wall between shower and bed but the toilet is just like a throne in the open space........ I thought British are quite a conservative nation so this set up surprised me immensely! Perhaps these rooms should be for only 1 person and not to be advertised for 2 persons if you respect your guests’ privacy.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The tea and coffee making facilities were not put in a place easily to use, the room was, toilet and shower not private enough if two people are sharing, also you come to the exit first with no notice of the entrance to the hotel was further up the road had to look more than once for the entrance.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Cosy atmosphere
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We had a special request before we arrived and this was dealt with in 15minutes via email great staff , room clean and near town to walk to . Was quiet at night for sleep would stay again.
Cons: Room was slightly small to what was expecting but was fine for just 2 of us for night
7.0 Good
Pros: Spacious rooms, plenty of mirrors
Cons: Bar was expensive
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Helpful staff nice environment.
Cons: The sink was blocked.
