Hotel Rumi Punku

The location and setting for the hotel could not be any easier and more comfortable. The hotel is within easy walking distance from every exciting attraction in Cusco. It is literally across the street from our favorite cafe. The secure entrance opens into the helpful loving arms of a very attentive staff and some the most beautiful and inviting courtyards you could wish to relax in. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished. The morning breakfast has a wonderful variety of fresh fruits, fresh juices, baked goods, meats and eggs cooked to order. The setting of the hotel allows a traveler to have an exciting day in the city and then return to Rumi Punku to security, relaxation, and quiet. Most of the staff spoke English which was helpful. They went to extra lengths to assist my family in the wee hours of the mourning when a train strike left us off schedule and a little stranded. The hotel took the worry out of any concern we had.

Pros: The court yards and public spaces of the hotel were indescribably beautiful. The views from the upper floors were wonderful. We were so well cared for that the end of each day in Cusco was so comforting and peaceful. The staff took care of everything.
