Pros: Heating and cleanliness was perfect, bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was fully equipped.
Cons: There was a very strong light accross the bed, this was quite bothersome.
Pros: Everything! We stayed here for one night on our way from Bergen to Oslo and loved it. It’s a perfect location between the two cities and very beautiful. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped and there was a great (huge) living room where we could relax in front of the fire and look at the mountains. We went for a walk around Geilo Lake too and it was incredibly beautiful.
Pros: Single room, single bed, sheets and towels, private bathroom en-suite. Nothing to complain about. The walls are a bit thin and you might here neighbours taking a shower and talking in the hall. Spacious, very well equipped kitchen. Free parking. 3 minutes from center of Geilo. Would recommend and stay again.
Cons: Very very basic facilities. The major problem for us was that you can hear your neigbours talk and worse, snore! So it is not quiet.
Pros: Convenient with alll amenities we needed. As we were the only guests that night we had the place all to ourselves and the property assistant built a wonderful fire for us in the common living room. A truly delightful experience
Cons: For elderly people like us, where steps are a problem, there is no handrail with uneven set of steps up to the unit. Luckily the property assistant was able to assist us in getting our luggage up the steps. Suggest installing hand rail up the front steps
Pros: It was a very convenient location, considering that we didn't mind the 20-25 minute walk to the train station. Perfect location for light weight hiking. Two beds were available, as requested. Free tee and coffee, and a very nice kitchen/living room area
Cons: Bathroom was a bit small, and you could look straight into the room from the (very calm) street...
Pros: Comfortable bed. Clean kitchen with all the amenities. Nice living room.

Pros: The Cabin was fantastic The location The staff was friendly So many outdoor activities
Pros: Everything was perfect. Highly recommended!
Pros: Nice new clean houses with enough space. Area good for a couple of days. Very nice staff. Quiet location.
Cons: Houses are quite dark from the inside. A playground for the children to share between the houses is lacking. This limits contact between the children in the park.
Pros: Great spacious ski hut.
Pros: Beautiful cottage with 5 bedrooms 2 bathroom with sauna fully equipped kitchen big living room can fit more than 10 people. Located near Geilo Høydepark and SkiGeilo and summer park with the longest zip line in Europe

Pros: LOVED the spa The rooms were wonderful and spacious Great staff and location - easy to find Food was very good too
Cons: The decor is dark - made it hard to find the light switches
Cons: Room had not been cleaned. Filthy and disgusting.
Pros: The location is great nearby the activity facility. The room is good. However, it seems old and needs renovation although the style of the hotel is old. It is very big and the breakfast is good. It is good hotel for the family. I enjoy staying one night and the staff is excellent and very helpful.
Cons: I did not like the hallway flooring carpet as it needs refurbish. Also, I wish the bowling is open all day long.
Pros: Lots of areas for relaxing in around the bar and reception Good breakfast that was constantly restocked Good location for a stopover between Oslo and Bergen
Cons: We were given a suite room with separate lounge and kitchenette. This was nice in one way as we had a lot more space than just s double. However as we were not self catering we couldn’t make use of the tea/coffee making facilities as we had no tea of coffee! In a normal room those would be provided? Just s minor thing but worth a mention
Pros: A nice french guy drove me to the station since it was difficult to get a taxi, and the swede in the bar was very helpful.
Cons: The recepsionist gave me the wrong info at arrival about two issues... no big deal but a bit stange.
Pros: The environment is nice. The dining room is awesome. It is super nice.
Cons: The equipment in the room. I know that hot water is not available in the western conturies. However, as a resort, it has to consider all the travlers around the word.

Pros: Location and its ambiance
Cons: Lack of Tea coffee facility in the rooms
Pros: Location and ambiance
Cons: The hotel was closed. They had tried to call us and did book a room for us at the Ustadalen Hotel down the street.
Pros: Reception staff was very forthcoming and helpful on check in.
Cons: Breakfast was nothing special and some of the kitchen staff seemed less than eager. A simple good morning greeting and a smile goes a long way.
Cons: No restaurant in the evening...……...breakfast was good
Pros: We stopped here as a half way point on our self drive from Oslo to Bergen. This hotel was super cute and cozy. I slept amazing- comfortable bed, quiet. The concierge was really nice and friendly and helpful both on check in and check out. She gave us suggestions for lunch and directions to the stable I needed to go to. The downstairs lounges were cozy and I can just imagine how delightful they would be in winter with a roaring fire. The breakfast spread was a veritable feast- a variety of eggs, fruits, cereals, breads, yogurt, herring and smoked salmon. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to a future guest.
Pros: We ate there and the food was great. The room had a great view and the internal decor was excellent
Cons: No lift
Pros: Close to the Train station, very good breakfast
A stay at Highland Lodge places you in the heart of Hol, steps from Geilolia Summer Park and a 5-minute drive from Geilo Activity Centre. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: This is a beautiful Lodge in a beautiful location. The lounge has amazing spaces for relaxing or hanging out with friends or family.
Pros: Views, decor, warm pool, sauna, access to walks and town, delicious pizza.
Cons: Room was a little shabby- mirror had come off the wall and not been fixed.
Pros: it is a good place to relax
Pros: Clean& quite Lovely Staff
Pros: This is a large ski resort hotel. We stayed during the summer, the hotel was pretty empty. The dining room, lounge, breakfast areas were all in very good style ("casual-chic"), very welcoming, wide yet warm, with good views.
Cons: We stayed in a family room - this turned out to be on a basement, with no lift... It was not a very pleasant room: very narrow, dark, crowded, no view, no decor, a small terrace area with wild overgrown uncut grass; maybe it would have been ok for a skiing family holiday, but, considering it was low-season, we were expecting far more pleasant accommodation (in line with the common areas) for the payed price - the highest we payed per night during our rad-trip in Norway, where we had some really much nicer stays.
Pros: Friendly and helpful service. Good breakfast. Pool area was okay. Lobby looked really cool and was very comfortable.
Cons: For some reason they forgot to put sheets on the bed (I got compensated with a free beer, though). The free Wi-Fi only worked properly in the lobby but there was mostly no connectivity in my room. TV had barely any channels. With no Wi-Fi and no proper TV, staying in the room was no pleasure.
Pros: Beautiful hotel, great pool, good food
Cons: Small room, no bathrobe and slippers, no kettle and no fridge in rooms.
Pros: The Highland Lodge really springs out in terms of facilities, staff and location: despite its large size, the hotel feels very cozy, thanks in large parts to the large lounge area and library where one can easily find an empty chair to lounge in and relax. The swimming pool is surprisingly large, and the sauna adjacent to it completes that picture. We also really liked the food: while limited choice in the evenings, their restaurant primarily offers pizza, it arrived quickly and tasted great. Breakfast too did not leave us wanting, offering a wide buffet to choose from. We only saw a handful of staff, but they all were very friendly and helpfully spoke English.
Cons: There is little we did not like; our room was very small, to the point where the bed blocked the door to the balcony, and the bathroom showed signs of an imperfect renovation, with a few fixture spots visible on the walls. All the parking locations are outdoors and we would have liked to keep our motorcycles somewhere under a roof, but these are really very minor things.

Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. A train station pick-up service is provided at no charge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Good service Great food.
Pros: Breakfast was lovely
Cons: The design of the handbasin was a bit odd (They had tried too hard.) When you turned the tap on the water shot out beyond the basin unless you were very careful.
Pros: 5 minute walk from the train station. Check in was simple. They had an excellent spa and pool. Enjoyed a nice dinner in the restaurant. Breakfast was amazing. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rich historical relics and art work throughout. Charming
Cons: A hot water pot in the room for coffee or tea would have been nice.
Pros: Friendly greeting and a little history about the 100 + years of the historical significance. It was this older world charm and character of the hotel which stood out.
Cons: Dinner buffet was over priced. Mislead as to offerings as no lamb on menu when told there was. No bottle opener in room. Bathroom tiny with no counter space. Other than those minor things, room was large and bed comfortable.

Pros: Clean comfortable bed
Cons: Unpleasant view from room
Cons: second floor was very low so it is not comfortable to sleep.
Pros: The cabin we stayed at was huge spacious. I mean it was the summer and we were a family of 5. But we had got a cabin for 12. The staff were that accomodating. Great and I will be back for sure.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of.
Pros: Restaurant and cafe were excellent with large hearty meals and friendly staff. The room was comfortable and a good size for a family of four.
Pros: Great location. The family room was huge and very comfortable. The hotel is well equipped as there is a washing machine and tumbler which you can use when you want (you pay with coins in the washing room). Great swimming pool and sauna. Personnel very kind. Very nice breakfast and dinner buffet at the restaurant of the hotel. Very nice restaurant attached to the hotel, delicious.
Pros: The house is equipped very well with everything what you need. Its clean, big and you‘ll definitively feel welcome
Pros: Great staff, made us feel welcome from the first to the last second of our stay. The cabin was much more than we expected. We were wet and cold after diving our bikes for 10 hours in rain and were happy to see that we had 2 bathrooms and open fireplace plus that we could use the tumble-drier at the hotel.

Pros: Family-run traditional Norwegian hospitality and food at its best.
Pros: next to train station. Room quite good standard.
Pros: Close to railway station. Close to restaurants. Generous breakfast
Cons: Nothing really. A bit dated. Some stairs to climb.
Pros: Winter fairytale. Lovely rooms and surroundings.
Pros: Really nice breakfast, great locations and nice room that met all expectations
Pros: Location and good breakfast.
