Cons: The Duplex Villa is a bit small, but the verandah made up for lack of space inside. The room could have done with an extra wicker chair instead of only one and maybe a small round table.

Cons: We wrote an extra complaint already. We stayed three nights at the Palms City. Two of them were fine. The last one unfortunately a nightmare. We were hunting 20 - 30 bugs all night long and couldn't get to sleep because it was really discusting and disrupting. When we used the insects spray, it even got worse and we had an invasion of bugs coming out from the corners of the room and from under the bed. Please see our complaint form we filled in at check-out. We would expect a refund for the last night!

Cons: My food was cold so my brother kindly swapped with me. Unfortunately his meal, a beef schnitzel was really overcooked, making it dry and inedible. The amount of gravy was minuscule, served in a tiny bowl. When I asked the staff for more, I was informed that they had run out.

The second time I stayed there the towels were changed even though I didn’t request it (could also be a positive thing but they put up signs about saving water so it’s a bit weird). The second room I stayed in had a skylight instead of a window. Didn’t bother me that much but it couldn’t be covered up to make the room darker in the morning.

Cons: The room was not very well maintained. The bed was so run downed that after sleeping in it, you could still see the marks of the person laying there. There was a whole of a few centimetres down the metres. You could feel all the steel in the bed lying in it. This cause back pain for us and we have to spend a few sessions with our Chiro to get our back in order.. Under the bed it's soo dirty, no one have probably never cleaned under there.. The water from the shower flooded in to the main room. The room smells like damp and mould. When reporting these concerns and problems to the staff they were well aware of these issues. Offered us another room which had the same issues. When we instead wanted to check out they offered, what we believe to be the more expensive room (not meaning much better). At least the bed in the room was better. Staff was friendly and did their best. However for the price, it ia expected to get a more maintained room..

Pros: I have used the place for 17 years.It is very basic. just a clean room with a single and a double bed, a table, chair and a TV.
simple shower facility. No telephone.
it has a great Cole supermarket across the street and all kinds of bars,coffee shop s, internet cafe and travel offices within a few steps.
Oh...yes there is a swiming pool. there is a parking for guests cars.
Nothing wasted like a fancy lobby.....the staff is friendly
