Pros: We loved just about everything here! The house is beautiful and the family suite really accommodates a family of 4 perfectly. Advice for an evening restaurant was spot on and the next morning breakfast was wonderful at the premises! Our kids didn't want to leave in the morning :)
Pros: Superb spot surrounded by vineyards and close to Gemenc Forrest. Fantastic owners and traditionally decorated rooms.

Pros: It comes off the pictures how authentic this place is and I have to tell you when you get there it is even better. We went to hide away of the hustle of the big city and we got more than what we expected. It was so tranquil to sit in the garden (sippin on wine) and watch my son play with the dog. Cons: It was lovely and quaiet in the midle of nature!!And staff very gentil!!
Pros: The staff was kind, flexible and really helpful. We got very good recommendations on the wine tasting places and restaurants. The apartment and its garden is really beautiful, especially the sky by night <3 I think I have never seen so many stars before. The apartment has kitchen, fridge, really cosy living room where you can have a good get together with family, friends or collegues. We would just recommend this place to stay in Szekszárd :)
Pros: Everything else. The views of the city and the surrounding hills are gorgeous, the room and bathroom are extra clean, the wifi connection is strong. Also, the host is very friendly.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like has to do with my lifestyle: I'm a cyclotourist, and pushing my bike up the last 100m ascent (with 15% or more slope) was really grueling. Kind lady receptionist took my panniers up in her car, but just pushing my unloaded bicycle up was a real struggle.
Pros: The location is very nice and quiet. Access is a little bit difficult. The lady owner is a very nice person and helpful .
Pros: It's an amazing place to chill with friends and family. Very beautiful and cozy.
Cons: I didn't understand how to use the coffee machine there
Pros: The garden was amazing! The view and the parking possibilities are also excellent, the apartment is clean and cosy. Would definitely go there again!

Pros: Location is perfect for us, bus to city center stops about 100 meters from hotel. Kitchen is available. Clean Place, good beds.
Pros: We spent here 3 nights. The location is great: the beautifully refurbished old cottage transformed into a guesthouse was built on a wine hill, not far from downtown. If you come by car, be prepared to drive a steep road (perhaps 100 m long) up to the spacious parking lot. The place is absolutely clean. Our host Miklós was very friendly and helpful. He prepared great breakfasts for the 2 of us and gave lots of useful hints on where to go, what to see. As he explained, most of the furniture was made by him. The photos give a true picture of what to expect. The beds are comfortable. It's really amazing to see bookshelves full with books in every room and upstairs in the common living room.WiFi was excellent. We absolutely liked the place.
Pros: Clean and warm. Wifi was great.

Free private parking is available on site.
Pros: We have been staying here for 3 years now. We enjoyed the hospitality, the comfortable beds and the tasty breakfasts. Not to mention the great location: you can make some great hikes from this location (e.g. Szálka-Szekszárd, Bodri winery is about 8 km comfortable stroll in nature) We were curious about what changes will the new owners bring. A young couple bought the place in 2018. We were happy to see that what we love about the place is still there and they added a vintage flair. The breakfast is still great and the hospitality and smiles are here for the guests. I would recommend to go and check it out for yourselves. Warning: this is a house with very thick walls (vályogház), which means cold climate inside even in summer. Bonus blankets are needed for those who are cold.
Pros: Fantastic value for money. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts.
Pros: Very cosy and clean room. The manager is very nice and helpful and even gave us a ride up to the nearby winery. Breakfast was superb, probably had the best scrambled eggs ever here. In total highly recommended! :)
Pros: Unique, picturesque environment, charming staff, complex service, stylish rooms. The traditional Hungarian breakfast was delicious and very rich. Reka, the manager person, was very helpful and flexible.
Cons: We only missed one thing: shower head holder.

Pros: Three of us stayed in this place. Two of us had lovely rooms with double beds and en suite showers and one of us had a very large open plan studio with seating area, eating area and kitchen. The cooking facilities were great. Crockery and cutlery was not available in the kitchen but the hosts, delightful people let us take some from their breakfast room. Breakfast was included and offered an array of foods that would satisfy anyone. Really lovely place to stay and very quiet at night as the accommodation is set well away from the road. Location for us was perfect as it was a few hundred yards from the office where we had an appointment the next day. Would highly recommend this guest house to anyone.
Pros: Stuff was really helpful.
Pros: Thanks to the very friendly staff (shout outs to Gabor!) I felt very welcome and could actually cheat-chat a bit in English which I always welcome when traveling alone. The room was good standard and with nice bathroom equipped with hair-dryer.
Cons: It's a bit pricey for the location. The breakfast, however varied, was missing a hot meal option.
Pros: The place has a separate, lovely breakfast place.
Pros: Very pleasant place, close to the city centre. Amazing host who gave us excellent hints what to see and where to go. The apartment was spacious. Breakfast was delicious, especially the fried egg :) Thank you and see you soon
Cons: No soap in the bathroom

Other facilities offered at the property include luggage storage, a daily maid service and a shoeshine. A bike rental, a car rental and cleaning services are provided for a surcharge. The property offers secure private parking in a parking garage for an additional fee, located a few minutes' walk away.
Pros: The decoration of the whole hotel is super nice. Like you went back in time to a hotel there
Pros: An unusual Hotel that just consists of a small reception and then bedrooms. The rooms were large and comfortable. Breakfast was in a nearby café which was excellent.
Pros: Well appointed room, great location and very helpful staff. Would definitely use again.
Pros: This was a lovely hotel. Not the cheapest in Szekszard but chosen because of its atmosphere and history. In a very quiet location on a pedestrianised street with a number of bars and restaurants along it. This included the place where breakfast was served - we had a continental one and it was really good with a lot of local produce - delicious ! The furnishings in the room were sort of semi-traditional, and the bed was very very comfortable. The front-desk welcome was very warm, with coffee being made once we had got ourselves sorted out. Underground parking is available nearby for a charge, but as it was the weekend and early evening we put our vehicle in the free car park nearby overnight.
Cons: It sounds silly, but I think that - knowing 2 guests were in the room then I would have put 2 sets of toiletries in the bathroom. Also, to find a wall-mounted soap dispenser in a hotel with this kind of class was a bit strange. Last of all, a 10 o'clock check out is a bit tight ...... we were in a hurry to move on to our next destination anyway, but I don't think I've stayed anywhere on this planet where I've been asked to vacate my room by 10am ! At the end of the day, we had a very nice 1 night stay though. We would go back again if in the area, as the hotel has so much more character than any other place in the town.
Pros: Very good location of the hotel, practically in the centre. Good breakfast, food was very delicious. Helpful staff.
Pros: Quality of the room, the central location of the building, the staff.
Cons: The organisation of things. The room was excellent, the staff helpful and friendly but there was something soulless about the place. This may have to do with the entrance and location of the reception desk; the fact that there is no food; the 'hotel ' parking is in an awkward location to get to; the fact that reception feels more like a basic check-in desk than an integral part of the hotel. Breakfast resto was ok but the resto recommended for evening meal is living on its reputation - the food there is nothing special. The Aussie guy's review of the place on TA is spot on.

Pros: I had room 107, very nice, comfortable, clean. Room has a balcony to the inner garden, very Quite during the night. Hotel restaurant was excellent, I have tasted soups, lamb, pasta - everything very delicous. Wine is good too. Value for the money is very good.
Cons: I did not like check-in, check-out process. There is probably new staff there, during summer time. Check in took very long if I consider the fact, that this was my third stay at this hotel - hotel did not have my data in the system. Check out was complicated - problem to fix the invoice (private address instead of company address), it took round about 30minutes.
Pros: New, clean and modern.
Cons: Location was a little hard to find.
Pros: Nice room, parking lot and spa facility
Cons: They clean some stuff from my room I wanted to keep...
Pros: Amazing facilities excellent staff and top food.
Pros: Lovely staff at breakfast, thanks for making us feel welcome. Also, location was great, close to everything but quiet.
Cons: Bed was old and uncomfortable but overall I really liked the room so wasn’t a big issue.

Pros: Wellness facility and wine tasting is great

A patio, a cable flat-screen TV and air conditioning are featured in each unit. A continental breakfast is available daily at the bed and breakfast. Baja is 43 km from Sárosdi Pince és Panzió, while Zomba is 17 km away.
Pros: Clean room. Parking lot.
Cons: Far from the city centre, need to use car to get to a closest restaurant. Very small rooms with just two roof windows. Terace is a car parking by the hill. Only a few non comfortable chairs one can use to enjoy the panoramic view from this small parking lot. Staff does speak no foreign language and have not found time to present and/or sell their wines. Even at evening. I am terribly sorry, I bought 30 bottles elsewhere...

Pros: We stayed there only one night while travelling to Montenegro. It was a very pleasant stay. Very kind and helpful owners. Szekszard is a very beautiful city. There are many places to visit. If you will be there take a room at Horvath Vendeghaz!
Pros: Excellent communication
Cons: Close to old town.Nice spot.Very nice owners
Pros: Great owners they wait for us and help with car problem. The room was clean.
Pros: Very hospitable folks, the house has a nice atmosphere of the old times...kinda brings back memories of my grandmother s apartament...
Pros: Quiet accommodation. Comfortable separate beds. A separate little house.
Cons: The shower and the shower curtain were both leaking, everything had a dumpy fusty smell. The owners promised to repair ASAP.

The Szekszárd Train Station is 1 km from Hotel Zodiaco. Fishing and horse riding is possible 10 km away. Free private parking is available.
Pros: We had room nr 4 at the end of a dark corridor. But the room was bright, clean and a new modern bathroom. Staff was very helpfull and the breakfast was enough.
Cons: We arrived an hour after booking and they had given some french people our room! So we had nowhere to go after a very long hot drive! I was very mad and disgusted! There were also no English speaking staff available!
Pros: The hotel was recently upgraded. A few things are not quite finished. The rooms are now on par with 4 Star hotels. Nice breakfast with an option to eat outdoors.
Cons: That the remodel is not quite done.
Pros: modern and beautiful design of the room, air condition, breakfest was quite ok.
Cons: We booked room with one big bed and the second one smaller for a child. We got a room only with one big bed, because rooms with two beds were ...dirty (at 9.00pm). When I wanted to see a view from a window, the courtain rot fell down right on my head! We were sleeping (3 in one bed) right under this pendant rot. Just forgot about any comfort, just to survive this night. We got a 10%discount from manager, but ... we wouldn't come back there any more.
Pros: Nice hotel and quite newly redone rooms with A/C
