Location. Staff was nice Rooms need updated with fresh paint and carpet. Paint unprofessional and vents showing water damage or mold
I booked a king size bed, got two doubles. After asking, i got a new room. New room had trash in the garbage can in the bathroom. And I'm not sure the sheets were clean (bed was not well made and sheets were wrinkled). As weird as it sounds, I was too tired to complain and stayed in the room. one light bulb did not work. Overall, it was pretty dirty.
The location is very convenient in reference to OKCs Bricktown. Room was Tiny and basic. $140.00 didn't even get me a mini fridge. Theread was trash in trash can, and towels were not restocked.
The location for attending the OKC Thunder game was perfect. It was an easy walk from the hotel to the arena that was mostly indoors. The bed was comfortable and we both slept well both nights of our stay. Don't feel we were given the Deluxe Room we requested and for which we paid. Additionally, the tub filled up with water as you showered and didn't drain out, even overnight. The bathroom was also very small; large enough for only one person at a time. The counter wasn't even large enough to comfortably hold the bottles of shampoo, conditioner, etc. The toilet paper roll was located in a very inconvenient place that was difficult to reach, and the only place towels could be hung was inside the shower.
The staff was friendly. Parking options were limited
The breakfast was not free.
Great location. Clean. Friendly staff. Reserved a king and was given two doubles due to overbooking. Mattresses were worn out. Given free breakfast for the inconvenience. No hotel parking due to construction. Valet parking was $25. Same price as non-guests.
The room was clean and comfortable. It was right across from the convention center where we attended Women of Faith.
Bed was comfortable, and the valet service was great. Housekeeping was rude and took forever to get to our room, and the pool was tiny with a ton of people there.
I like everything The whrilpool not working
Bathtub backed up with water in the middle of the nigj and almost flooded over, was moved to a new room at 4:00 a.m. that didn't have a key that worked. Terrible experience. Don't stay here.
Nice facility. Two clubs in the motel. Several swimming pools. I had a prostitute and two pimps beating on my door at midnight. Trying to mug me. Smoking in the hallway. People so drunk they were having to be carried. My tv remote had no batteries. The mattress had springs poking through even with the mattress pad that was for a queen size bed even though I had a king. The front desk told me they had no rooms available but had to book me in because of kayak.
My room was not marked not vacant in their system and a security guard burst in at 2 am trying to kick me out of my room because they booked it for another guest while I was staying. Very unpleasant experience.
Location...... Place reeked of the smell of smoke. Roaches in the bathroom (I saw 2 small ones). Bed sheets were stained. Light next to bed did not work. TV was old and small. Thank goodness I was only there for one quick night.
Breakfast was horrible. The entire hotel smelled of cigarettes. And they charged me $50 for smoking in a room when I don't even smoke. They are just money hungry.
The staff were accommodating after threatening to leave. Lobby attached to country bar and wedding chapel. A wall of smoke hits you upon entry. Rooms and bed sheets are funky.
Well, the price I guess. The AC was good. Found cockroaches in the bedroom. I had to pay for the Breakfast Buffett which was terrible food. The walls had sloppy patch work done on them. Scratches in the bedroom headboard, with the word Help scratched into the headboard, which of course scared my kids. The halls smelled of smoke from cigarettes, when they are no smoking rooms.
Nothing The room, staff, clientele were awful. No light bulbs were in the room. No refrigerator temperature was hard to control to get the room to stay consistently cool.
Just a bed to sleep along the highway on a long trip
The room that we first got, the air conditioner didn't work and the comforters were all stained. The bathtub didn't really work, but personally I could work around that. The second room we got due to the air conditioner problem, was nicer. It seemed to be newer and cleaner. Also, there were several fights in the location.
Beautifully exclusive lobby with an atmosphere only describable by those who have seen it. Filthy. My bed sheets had dried crusty something on them. My shower curtains were filthy as well. Not what I expected from such a high quality hotel.
clean, comfortable room.staff with good hospitality mind
accomadating, close to bricktown, hint of mystery I would not have been able to afford it on my own.
I thought the hotel was beautiful & we got good service at the restaurant & bar. We went to Red Earth Pow-Wow at the Cox Convention Center & it was two blocks away. We walked to the Murrah Federal Building Memorial as well as Bricktown, also in walking distance. My roommate left her cellphone & charger in the room & y'all are mail-ing it to her. I appreciate that immensely. I got an Email confirmation that said I had only one room. I called Book-ing & got that straightened out, then had problems checking in at the desk when we got there.
Historic, nastagic, good mix of old and new wrapped together for a excellent experience of the city. The room was so quiet, and cozy perfect gey away! The valet bill...... I wish I would have been told beforehand about the charge. The maid start knocking at 1030 for noon checkout.
The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The hotel had a nice mixture of classic design with modern comfort, and its location was tremendous. The bed was hard as a rock. Both my wife and I woke up with extremely sore backs.
The pool and location were excellent. The breakfast was awesome. The lady at the desk on check in was rude. We needed a bed for our daughter we were told that that was not an option unless we switched rooms and if we did that there would not be a room avaliable for Saturday night. So sharing a bed with a toddler because we could not have a roll away bed was not the best sleep a guy can get. Just seemed lke she did not care about customer service at all.
To loud outside. Loud people coming back to the room drunk. Woke up the kids
Way overpriced for what we received, but most staff was really nice we had reserved a double room and got a king bed. Went to restaurant downstairs, ordered a wine, it was out, ordered a beer, it was out. No free wifi, room key didn't work, had to get new ones. Breakfast buffet was ok, but gravy was ice cold..for real.. husband was extremely irritated, for convenience to convention center it was great.
The hotel was very modern and beautiful. I forgot my headphones and I was upset I wouldn't have any while working out. The hotel provided complimentary ear buds, which I thought was a very nice touch. There isn't a complimentary breakfast, but the food is very reasonably priced for a hotel. I got a delicious breakfast wrap so big I couldn't eat all of it for $6.00. The staff was extra friendly and one of the best things about my stay! The doors at the hotel clink like the old prison movies. To me, whomever installed or manufactured the doors didn't leave the proper amount of clearance for the door to close quietly. The traffic on my floor was high at 2:00 am on Tuesday and Wednesday morning, I think every door on my floor opened and shut two or three times and I heard every single one of them (feels like it anyway). I'm a light sleeper in an environment I am not familiar with. Hallway noise is a problem at all hotels but I would say this might be slightly above what I would consider normal due to the doors and the gusto it takes to close them. I've definitely stayed at nicer, quieter hotels for less during mid week business travels.
The whole hotel was very nice a modern. The bars were very nice and the staff were great. We were there for just a night getaway and it was nice to have a good time without having to leave the actual hotel.
Patrick fixed my reservation. EVERY person in this place is so friendly!!! Top shelf!!!
This hotel is very young and modern. The rooms were spacious, and the beds were super comfortable. The staff was real cool. You have to pay to park. Our stay was the same night as a thunder game--the lot filled completely up..also the pool is pretty unimpressive, but it exists, which is kind of rare for a hotel downtown.
Close to brickyard, room had a functional layout, big shower, decent toiletries, free morning coffee in the lobby Loud music from pool area until 11pm, $15 for parking in an empty structure - self or valet same rate, no other option
Elegant! The whole hotel was very nice. The evening reception was exceptional, custom drinks with fresh vegetables and lots of other goodies to snack on. All you could eat/drink for a couple of hours. For breakfast the "made to order" omelette was fabulous. The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. Not much to report on this side, the only minor thing was the televisions were not allowed to be changed from the included cable to hdmi so I could watch movies from my device.
The kitchen staff for breakfast in the morning was freindly. Actually all of the staff was nice. The pool needed cleaning. It smelled like a urinal cake. Cleanliness was an issue too. Nothing was filthy but a lot more attention to detail could be made.
Front desk service was very friendly and helpful. We loved the spacious room. When I booked the room and read the description of the room on kayak.com, it stated the refrigerator would be stocked with a dry/wet bar. When we arrived the fridge was empty. Also, we went to dinner at the landing restaurant and it was horrible. My fiancé ordered a drink and the bartender started pouring it. Then I ordered the exact same thing and noticed that the bartender poured about half as much alcohol in mine than she did his. The drink tasted like water. Also, the waitress was making conversation with the bartender while we were standing at the bar and was very unprofessional. When our salads arrived at dinner, they were so drenched with dressing that neither of us touched them. The main course was good, but I expected excellent. The menu was pricey and we did not get what we thought we would. Later on when it was time for bed, the pillows on the bed were so flattened and offered no support. I had a neck ache for the next 2 days. The room was so cold and it was windy outside. We could hear the wind from outside and there was a noticeable draft coming in from the balcony door. The balcony was so small and looked like it might fall off the building if anyone stepped onto it.
Everything was perfect except for check in process - where their is a total disconnect Took time to check in online and then had no record of my check in at hotel. This caused a bit of hassle and frustration....
Clean spacious rooms, excellent breakfast Reception staff could be a little more engaging and welcoming. Nothing rude or improper, just distracted and impersonal.
It is not a bad hotel, but it isn't what I expect from an Embassy Suites. There was a funny smell and water stains on the ceiling and wall. Also the edges of the carpet were very dusty. Overall, it felt outdated and underwhelming. Positives: friendly staff, good breakfast buffet and good food at the grill, comfortable bed.
Fantastic breakfast and family friendly place and pet friendly
I enjoyed the soft bed, segregated living room from the spacious bedroom/bathroom, the staff was very polite and helpful. The location is concurrently l convient with major highways close by and plenty of places to eat all around. I wish that the TV's let you change the video input settings, but they're locked into the cable input only
Best hotel in OKC-best deal- best breakfast. Safe hotel safe bet. Great Staff great everything. N/A
No free parking
Loved the staff they where amazing. The location is in the middle of there bar district and that mad parking a nightmare.
Nice size rooms good pillows and a great bed
It was very clean and comfortable. I expected breakfast to be to be included but that really wasn't a big deal
Front staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and quite!
It was a wonderful location.
Overall the hotel was great! The room was very clean. Had trouble with one staff member but when I voiced my concern the issue was promptly addressed. The morning breakfast was your normal continental breakfast. I loved how clean the rooms were and the friendliness of the cleaning staff. Location was also a plus.
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Very kid friendly and our daughter loved it. Pool was small but that was perfect with a kid. Breakfast was included and decent. Beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet except for outside traffic. Overall a very pleasant stay and am sure to stay again.
Very friendly staff Breakfast
I had a place to sleep and the tv worked. The lady at the desk was absolutely rude. The rooms are old looking and not real nice. I only had 1 pillow. there wasn't a chair in the room to sit and relax. (had to lay in bed)
wifi was very slow - had to tether to watch a show.
It was a nice stay.
Price Too much furniture in the room.
centrally located, clean and breakfast was good.
Pool and breakfast Dirty walls. Strange layout and ceiling textures.
Staff was friendly Great location Comfortable bed Smelled like stale smoke Needs updating Entry is not actually though the outside
Traveling across country it was convient right off interstate 40. The price was perfect. We were upgraded to a bigger room. A nice surprise. The complimentary breakfast was a surprise. It was truly a breakfast. Eggs. Sausage/bacon. Waffles. Biscuits and Gravy plus many more choices. We knew we would be getting in late. I called ahead and the front desk was friendly and when we got in close to midnight the young man had us ready to quickly check in. He was very professional, friendly.
the breakfast was great! loved that the room had a balcony. pool was nice but didn't use. as soon as you walked into the hotel it had a weird smell. the rooms were ok size but with 4 kids & 2 adults its crowded. didn't like that there was a sign in breakfast room saying you can't take you're food to the room.
Howard Johnson in OKC is like home to us. We always stay there. We use this motel about 2 or 3 times a year. The price is very good and our room alway clean and fresh. The breakfast is a great big plus.
Fitness center was eternal than most had plenty of aerobic machines, free weights, and space. Was there for 5 nights, no dresser drawers, jus a closet.
The hotel looked awesome. Asked for a fridge (they charge you $10/ night extra) weeks ahead of my check in and when I got there they couldn't give me one because they didn't have any extra. Then we called and asked for a hair dryer (they didn't have one in the room) and we were also told they didn't have any extra.
Staff was fantastic very accomodating Noise from the trains
The staff were very good and worked extremely hard. However, they were grossly understaffed. As a result service was a bit of a disappointment. The hotel is nice enough and the staff works hard, but the finer details that you would expect from a hotel that advertises themselves to be of 4 star quality were lacking.
The location was great! The rooms were way too small! --- a night should get you a bigger room!
I travel a ton for work, and rarely have I been in a hotel where each member of staff was so attentive and competent. I especially appreciated the front desk guy with the red beard, the guys that clean up after breakfast, and the hotel manager (I'm sorry I didn't get your names!). I've never written a review before, but you guys made our stay great, and I wanted people to know. The location is awesome too, as Bricktown is just a great place to stay in OKC. This is totally minor, but I didn't like the super bright white light in the room lamps.
courteous desk and breakfast staff
Include parking in price. $12 per car plus tip tends to get expensive.
New construction. Beautiful hotel. Valet parking only. No where to park
Beds very comfortable.nice separate sitting area. One bed had stains on sheets.
Clean rooms Quiet Complimentary breakfast Bed wasn't comfortable I called about pets they told me $35 ended up costing me $75 just for a dog under ten pounds Fridge didn't work
location, cleanliness, friendly staff, nice breakfast, ease of parking
People nice and it was clean. My husband is a 100% disabled veteran with a no tax card which we showed and was told next morning they would take off taxes. Next morning with a plane to catch we were told we would have to call a manager and that would take time which we didn't have so we paid and left. Should have been taken care of up front.
Very clean. Breakfast included.
The staff was nice and the location good. The rooms were older and out of date. Full sized towels were not provided but were "available at the pool." None were actually there. When we mentioned this to staff, we were told some were being brought out. None ever arrived. The iron in our room was old, spilled water, and ended up burning my pants (ruining them). The staff was nice about it and apologized, getting me a new iron. However, the manager just said they'd "look into" the problem and never got back to me with any solution for the ruined pants. This place in equivalent to a cheaper hotel, not other hotels moderate hotels. It's not terrible but not what is expected for the inexpensive but not cheapest price.
The staff was extremely accommodating, helpful and truly assisted in all my needs... The outdoor rooms for a woman staying alone.
Breakfast was really nice. not the typical hotel breakfast it was above and beyond. We had a problem with the tv at first the staff brushed it off as it was a common problem. But after 30 minutes and another phone call to the front desk staff connected us to someone that could help us. A guest before us had messed the settings up. We couldn't fix it with the basic remote so we were moved to a new room.
The staff were very pleasant. The Internet was terrible.
