Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. 8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beach and food were excellent . Very expensive but expected . Staff was very friendly
Cons: There were some places on site that felt worn out.
7.1 Good
Pros: Views and staff.
Cons: Not children friendly, very hilly and nothing for them to do. Expensive, the prices are close to very upscale NY restaurant.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable with a balcony overlooking the pool and beach. We enjoyed the breakfast and afternoon tea provided.
Cons: We visited out of season; however, felt the price we paid was not reflective of that. Some building works were taking place throughout our stay. It would have been good to have a duvet cover on our bed, rather than a duvet between sheets.
7.5 Good
Pros: Views are exceptional
Cons: Room needs makeover
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable, but the pillows were too fat, perhaps need a combination? We loved the location of the resort, the view of the water from everywhere -including our room, the outstanding breakfast and the hot tub too since we were there in December. Glorious sunsets! The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: We didn't use the gym facilities because we weren't there long enough to need to; however, from what we saw when we peaked in the room was very unappealing--it looked very small and out-of-date.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is breathtaking. The beach is beautiful and private. The staff is very friendly and they make you feel at home. The spa is beautiful and the service was wonderful. Looking forward to our next visit.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendliness of the staff.
Cons: No seaweed!! Because of the seaweed, we utilized the pool but thought you should have provided beverage service there. You lost a lot of revenue. You should have offered a shuttle service to any of the beaches that were not affected by the seaweed. In Cape Town this winter our stay was affected by a forest fire and the boutique hotel offered us a voucher for a future visit.
7.5 Good
Pros: GORGEOUS BEACH! Our room had a spectacular view with a balcony. It was nice to have on site restaurants. Check-in staff is nice.
Cons: The rooms are extremely dated. The restaurants serve mediocre food. There are a lot of steps, so it is not great for people who have mobility issues. I wouldn't consider it a value, except that it was more reasonable than other hotels this time of year and the views are incredible.
7.0 Good
Pros: Hotel is beautiful our room was beautiful, beach was amazing! Location is great!
Cons: The bar service during the day is terrible! We waited a long time for drinks to come and somethings they never came! We went to the ONLY bar that is open to get our own drinks and got a attitude from the bartender!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, stunning views of the ocean, bungalow style rooms.
Cons: It takes forever to get a taxi, I had to wait for half an hour couple of times.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This hotel has classic charm! I love how it is built into the side of the cliff, the different levels, the pink color, the landscape. The beach is gorgeous! The infinity pool is spectacular! Everyone is friendly and accommodating! The breakfast buffet and restaurant food on the premises are superb!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The treatment by staff was one of the best we’ve ever experienced. The resort prides itself on the quality of their team and it really showed.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything at The Loren is just perfect! Rooms, ambiance, design, service.....and it smells so good! The restaurant is the best of Bermuda. If you are looking for a classy boutique hotel The Loren has it all!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Small secluded boutique property. Low key, but sophisticated attentive vibe/atmosphere. Quality of the kitchen at both restaurants was excellent.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Rooms have super sized balconies with a sofa and two chairs with ottomans along with spectacular ocean front views.
Cons: Leaving
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Upscale property with the perfect location right on a private beach with superior service. Beautifully appointed with gorgeous views! The staff of the hotel and pool area was so accommodating and truly exudes hospitality. We also enjoyed the spa which was top notch!! The property is breathtaking and serene. We are already planning our return trip.
Cons: Service in the more casual Pink Beach Club restaurant was lacking for our experience. We noticed bigger tables with larger parties much more catered to. Food and beverage pricing doesn’t quite match up to the quality/value of what is presented. Drinks are not properly measured/poured. Also, service could have been more consistent and quicker. I know this sounds like a negative but truly it was a great experience; we just feel like these items could use some improvement.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet and relaxed atmosphere and all staff were super helpful. Food in both outlets very good.
Cons: Bed was very comfortable but the cotton sheets were a little pilled.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We loved the hotel’s location, staff were very friendly, nice pool area and a lovely sandy beach nearby with lots of fish for snorkeling. Everything was beautifully designed and modern. Bed was very comfortable - if we are back in Bermuda, I would stay at this hotel again!
Cons: Food was a little dissapointing... we didnt eat at the Mare as we wanted to try out restaurants in town, but we ate breakfast and lunch at the Pink beach and it was not very good compared to the food at other Bermuda restaurants. Portions were also small... it’s a shame, cause that’s the only thing I would change there. Maybe make breakfast more exciting, it didnt seem it was busy. Obviously, everything food and drinks were very expensive! (Just like everywhere in Bermuda...)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Luxury boutique property in Bermuda, incredible views from room balcony, huge rooms and bathroom, great amenities with complimentary bottles of water, Malin + Goetz bath products, flip flops. Restaurant served decent food, roughly similar prices to rest of island. Staff are super sweet and helpful--Cole, Hannah, Samuel, Donnell were just a few staff members who we met and they were all wonderful. Great lounge area downstairs with board games, billiards, TV screen. Would stay again for the views alone.
Cons: As all things in Bermuda, it will cost you an arm & leg. I did feel that for the price, breakfast should be included. I feel that if some things were picked up by staff and dealt with without us bringing it to their attention, it would make this place even better, but perhaps that's just the easygoing Bermuda way =) For ex: there was a (face sized) hole in our sheet that was not replaced for the 3 nights we were there. I left my luggage on the floor (in other resorts I've stayed in, oftentimes they will place it on a luggage folding rack for you). Little details can really make a great stay exceptional
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very helpful. Rooms well appointed. Beautiful views.
Cons: Food was a bit bland. Menu not very extensive.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were extraordinary. Everyone there acted like we'd been friends for years. Everyone was upbeat, smiling and eager to help without being pushy. I literally wanted to just hang out with the front desk and restaurant staff, they were that cool. The room was great, very spacious, shower and tub were amazing, the bathroom itself was large, the size of most hotel rooms. And the lanai was incredible, lounge was comfortable and of course you could hear the ocean, very beautiful. Only half bad thing was so far from Hamilton and dock yards. Mixed blessing, no traffic or extraneous noises. Which was great. But unless you race scooters professionally it was a taxi ride to town.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful setting on the ocean. Excellent food in all restaurants and room service. Lovely calm relaxing atmosphere in all parts of the hotel Service staff were excellent.
Cons: Despite advance warning not much effort was made for a guest of ours with food intolerances. Bill was incorrect on departure - however very quickly rectified once contact was made when back home.
Royal Palms Hotel - Hamilton - Bedroom

9.3 Excellent (147 reviews)

When you stay at Royal Palms Hotel in Pembroke, you'll be near the beach, within a 15-minute drive of Horseshoe Bay and Elbow Beach. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a computer station, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting in Hamilton, Bermuda; staff were so friendly and helpful it was a joy to stay here. We've stayed in many places in Bermuda over the years. The Royal Palms is by far the best!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional facility. Beautiful grounds. Warn and inviting staff. This was our fourth visit to the island but first time to the Royal Palms. We will be returning next year for sure.
Cons: I can not say a a single thing...except that our time went too fast as most vacations do.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great restaurant and staff. Lovely grounds, gardens.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Room was big as we had booked a suite. Bathroom was modern. Gardens were nice. Restaurant for evening meal was nice but very very expensive!
Cons: Air conditioning blows out black stuff on the bed. Furniture was old an rickety. Carpets old. Kitchen cupboard shelves had not been cleaned as there was dust ring marks where the cups were (I ended up cleaning it myself). Breakfast was basic but needs better hygiene with birds flying in. Also mouldy bread on one day was not good. High prices for accommodation were not justified given the state of the room and amenities. We have been to very remote expensive parts of the world and this was by far the most expensive without the 'luxury'. This is an issue for Bermuda in general.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Awesome place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff and rooms are nice (although flowery) but my room is called Rose.. So I guess to be expected. Breakfast was average but enough. I have heard the dinner is very very good at the main restaurant so will try next time I am out in Bermuda. Highly recommended!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The expert care and service..I felt like a queen.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Will stay here every time I’m on the island. Beautiful property, kind and warm staff, good food options on-site, and perfect location - close to many restaurants and nightlife.
6.8 Good
Pros: The Aircon in the room was very good.
Cons: The bar wasn’t open much on Sunday and the choice of food Sunday night wasn’t great.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and pretty garden setting, friendly helpful staff.
Cons: Rooms a little noisy for light sleepers. Dress code more casual than I was expecting.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: The price shown on Booking.com was totally wrong - I had to pay around 25% more for taxes etc which I find absolutely unacceptable
Rosedon Hotel - Hamilton - Building

Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All the staff were gracious and our room and all the facilities were lovely. Close to everything in Hamilton but still felt secluded- the grounds were beautiful.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Centrally located. Beautifully maintained. Excellent service.
Cons: Starch on the linens made them itchy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved how quaint and clean the property was. The gardens were beautiful but most of all the staff always went above and beyond. I highly recommend this hotel. I stayed at the Fairmont a few nights and this little hotel blows the Fairmont away!!
7.5 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Noise from other people
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location. Evenings on our room balcony. Excellent service and staff. Great restaurant.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We stayed before and were happy to return.
Cons: The staff is very friendly but needs a bit more training in service. We had difficulty getting breakfast on the Saturday of our arrival and that was a bit disappointing.a
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If you are looking for a quiet upscale place to stay in Bermuda you must consider Rosedon. It's a hidden oasis right in Hamilton. Easy walking to shops and restaurants. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms and grounds very clean. The gardens are beautiful. We would definitely return.
Cons: Was not a concern for us, but no restaurant or bar on premises. They do provide an honor bar in the main building though and plenty of places within walking distance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfasts and staff
Cons: There is nothing I didn't like about this hotel.
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel is well situated in the capital. It's a beautiful property with extra attentive and helpful staff. The food is delicious and afternoon tea was lovely.
Cons: We chose the hotel due to it being designated as family friendly as we were traveling with our children (a toddler and a three month old) and it was difficult to get around with strollers since there are many steps to get anywhere. Also, the pool doesn't have a shallow area for kids to play in - it starts at three feet; also there were duck sculptures that emit water on the deep end of the pool which was really dangerous. The door knob in the room door is super low and there's no way to fully lock it from the inside so our toddler kept opening the door and getting out. Finally we requested a crib but it was never provided.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendliness, kindness of staff. Great meals. Size of facility Competence of service Lovely grounds Attractive room
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: More like a very expensive motel , certainly not 5 star , wouldn’t give it a 3 tbh.
Cons: Everything
Overview Reviews
Overlooking the stunning waters of Hamilton Harbour sits the Grand Dame of Bermuda resorts, the Hamilton Princess. Here, where history meets modern sensibility, experience Bermuda's only luxury urban resort. Conveniently located in the city of Hamilton, The Fairmont Hamilton Princess features a stunning infinity edge resort pool, a range of luxurious guest rooms and suites, and amazing dining experiences including an open-air casual bar and restaurant located on a new 66-berth marina.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: There is nothing like the Hamilton Beach Princess in Bermuda. The window view, could have been sold too. So if you have the dollars and time, this is the place to sip some wine.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The view and location are outstanding
Cons: The room service is extremely slow!!!! They indicate 30 minutes for delivery but it has been an hour plus each time.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The property is beautiful - especially the infinity pool. SOME of the staff are great! For example, Natasha in the dining room was so friendly and greeted me with a beautiful smile. She was eager to please and was like this the 2 times I saw her. Herman, my server, was exceptional. He smiled and even used my name. He was attentive and didn't seem bothered by my requests. Jamie, the concierge, was nice when it was my turn. She offered many great suggestions and was very enthusiastic.
Cons: The staff are inconsistent. Some are very friendly and are always smiling. Others look like they dread working there. The woman who checked me in was very friendly and had a great smile. She handed me my key with both hands. However, she didn't say anything about the property, give me a map, or give me any information to be excited about the hotel and all it has to offer. I had to ask if there was a map and if the hotel had a restaurant and work-out room. It was a bit of a let down. I really, really, really, really wish the concierge person had given me the little fold-up map of the island and of Hamilton when I FIRST approached the desk. Instead I was given this little teeny, tiny postcard shaped map which was so small I couldn't read - even WITH my glasses. I was given this cool fold-up map on my 4th day! Oh brother! The waiter at the 1609 restaurant NEVER smiled once. He didn't seem interested in me or what I wanted to eat and drink. I felt like a number! It's kind of a bummer to pay so much money and receive such inconsistent service. Oh, one more thing. On Saturday, I asked the concierge lady about where I can watch the Gombey dancers. I read something somewhere about how they perform on Saturdays at a park somewhere. The concierge lady said they only perform on Wednesday's, NOT Saturday's. I went to the Queen Elizabeth park anyway, just in case. And wouldn't you know it, the Gombey dancers came and performed at 12:30pm. Why do I know this and SHE does not. It make me NOT trust what your staff says. In case your wondering why I'm being so picky. I'm a customer service consultant and I observe good and bad service around the world. This hotel and it's staff did NOT meet my expectations in that regards. So sad.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the art .
Cons: Wish they had a hotel taxi .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location to downtown
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All it has been said.. amazing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect
Cons: We loved everything
7.4 Good
Pros: The food service was not good. Coffee always served mildly warm when it should be hot. Food orders took really long time to come from the kitchen and some dishes were also not served hot.
Cons: Gratuity of 17% automatically added to all food. This appears though to be an island wide practice.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendliness of the staff
Cons: Add on costs namely "service charges", when already 17.5% 'gratuity included!!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Loved the food. The room was nice. Housekeeping staff was excellent
Cons: Check in and front desk staff wasn’t to the standard expected at this resort. They didn’t contact us when our rooms were ready and one room wasn’t available until after 7 pm.
7.5 Good
Pros: I gud dream ther
Cons: My socks

Pompano Beach Club - Southampton - Building
8
9.0 Excellent (220 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Dramatically situated, overlooking Bermuda's southwest coast, the 75 room family-owned & operated Pompano Beach Club is a tropical paradise! The resort offers extensive recreational facilities, exceptional service & hospitality, gourmet cuisine, breathtaking ocean views from every guest room and a casual, relaxed atmosphere.
7.5 Good
Pros: Gym was awesome. Food was awesome. Most of the staff were awesome. Views overall. Shuttle service to bus and adjacent areas (Port Royal Golf). Nightly music! Special call-out the steel drums and sax performance, piano too.
Cons: For the prices charged, I would have expected more modern rooms and al fresco dining areas. Beach had some chronic seaweed issues (from reef). Resort charged a daily (above and beyond) fee of $60. They should state to all guests how this money is used; staff gratuities, higher margins, facility improvements. Guests don't know how/who should get added gratuities for what services (rooms, food service, shuttle rides, front desk help, intial property tour....). If one tips everyone and pays a daily $60 service fee, this seems excessive to me.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The food and food settings were admirable. The staff quite friendly and helpful in all matters. Bermuda is unique in that all of its citizens seem to be happy and polite all the time.
Cons: Nothing to complain about! The location, food and food choices, available equipment for use in the sea, and nearness of Port Royal golf course were all positive factors,
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was exceptional! Never had a bad meal or cocktail. The servers and bartenders were friendly and experienced and made us feel like family. The beach was small yet beautiful. Would definitely go back again.
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very accommodating in all areas
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect, staff were very helpful. This is a family-run hotel/club and it shows. We were made to feel very welcome, and a couple of very minor issues were fixed instantly and with a smile. The food was outstanding and the service was generally very good. The restaurants also welcomed external bookings which is always a good sign. They offer a free minibus to local amenities - supermarket, boat hire, ferry to Hamilton etc, and Oleander have a moped-hire outlet on-site.
Cons: Service at breakfast can be a little hap-hazard and the rooms are not entirely sound-proof (sliding doors to the balcony in the room above are particularly noisy when opened/closed).....but I am struggling for anything else not to like!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff went overboard to assist wherever possible. Shuttle service great. Owner, Larry, was most helpful even before we arrived on our honeymoon. Great guy. Looked out for everyone.
Cons: Somehow needs better access to beach. Too many steps.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Most of the staff was nice and accommodating. The location of the club was superb, with amazing views of the ocean. You could opt in for the meal plan for not too much extra per night. Food was ok, a decent amount of options to choose from, though I wish there were fewer options executed superbly. Overall it was a pretty good deal. The beach is private and while not a ton of it, is a lovely experience. Also there is lots of places to snorkel right there off the beach, with tons of sea life to look out for. Nightly entertainment, board and card games, a game room, fishing, water activities and excursions gave us plenty to do. We enjoyed our short stay away.
Cons: Some aspects of the resort need updating, like beds/couches in the guest rooms. Also, while some of the staff was great, others were not so; it was hit or miss. Also, at times they were very understaffed, which put a strain on staff and customers alike. While it was a good stay, I am not sure I would stay here again, based on the other options on the island.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location on the ocean & staff hospitality
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. Staff and servers were extremely helpful and friendly. We liked the casual atmosphere and extraordinary views. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping up our room and providing fresh towels. The Rum Swizzle cocktail hour and Grill Night was a nice touch.
Cons: I know it's difficult to avoid, but birds in dining room were concerning. Also, it was nice to order drinks, food, etc. and have it charged to our room without worrying about signing, but I would have preferred to receive a receipt so I could keep track of the cost. I think we hit a week with an unusual amount of seaweed, although you worked very hard to clean up the beach. Not much you can do about seaweed drifting in.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great couldn’t be happier
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Liked the different breakfast venue options to relax wonderful front porch convenient to town
Cons: felt a mix between hotel and B&B; could warm things up a bit (in general)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was really good. Great location. Our room was great, very comfortable beds. The owners are very friendly and great help. We loved our stay there!
Cons: No problems at all.
5.0 Okay
Pros: - Staff is friendly - Breakfast is DIY. You can cook eggs or anything you can find in the fridge. Coffee is available and you can boil water with a kettle to make yourself tea.
Cons: - The room we had called Carol room is not located in the main building. It's like a cottage adjacent to it. It has no sound proof at all. Therefore, during the evening, the birds outside our room were so loud that we couldn't fall asleep. - The mattress was too soft. We felt we would fall onto the ground. - Breakfast selection is extremely limited. I had a piece of bread and my husband cook some eggs. - You wash your dishes after you ate which means you would be using dishes other people just washed by hand. Not sure how clean it is.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We came in to Bermuda by sea and we chose the property for its proximity to the waterfront. It is tucked away in an area of backstreets and was a little tricky to find at first. It's a very pretty building, with a lovely veranda - wooden floors and shutters. We were given a code to get into the property at any time, should reception be unmanned. Our room was nice, spacious and comfortable. Tea and coffee - and continental breakfast are all available in a common kitchen and lounge area. Faith, the owner was very friendly and helpful - and really came through when our taxi to the airport failed to show in time.
Cons: Wifi isn't great - but I think this is common to the Island - Bermuda is expensive - 30 % more than London - so the accommodation cost is high.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: close to the airport, clean, comfortable room in a heritage house in St George. Great neighborhood, 3 min walk from main street of St George. 10 min taxi from the airport
Cons: breakfast (bread, coffee/tea, croissants, cereal) is self serve, so just know that going in
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Bedroom was beautiful, plenty of space, really clean and I liked the history of the old building.
Cons: There were a few cats at the guesthouse, personal preference but I don’t like them!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, great room, and the breakfast in the morning made vacationing a lot easier. Close to the bus stop too.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast idea thee is great I feel most comfortable being able to make my own meals
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff at Aunt Nea’s were awesome! My wife and I arrived to the hotel late at night. Their staff provided us with very clear directions to get into the inn and had left a nice handwritten note for us on the counter. Check-in was seamless. When checking out, the island taxi service didn’t have any cabs for us, so Aunt Nea’s staff very kindly gave us a lift to the airport.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfy bed and helpful host.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The food was incredible. We could come back just for that! Top notch staff, willing to go above and beyond.
Cons: I would have liked to have the pools heated in October.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: My Husband and I just loved the hotel, our room was big and comfy and the staff are just wonderful. We thought the breakfast was amazing, the tucker point resturant was lovely for our evening meal. We will return in May. Well done to all at the hotel.
Cons: Nothing
4.3 Okay
Pros: Hotel itself was beautiful but it was understaffed and they were undertrained.
Cons: There was only one restaurant open and staff could not get things right from pillows on pool chairs to housekeeping not showing up.
7.0 Good
Pros: Facilities were gorgeous. Beach and service as one would expect. Ocean view suite was amazing!
Cons: Italian restaurant very mediocre. Beach shuttle did not run on schedule. Not even close. WiFi weak.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant staff were phenomenal. Polite, attentive, friendly. And the food was fantastic quality and preparation. Our turn down service at night was an added touch of exceptional. And the view - picturesque
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful accommodations and excellent views. Staff was fantastic!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: the pillow in rosewood is the best.
Cons: booked a hotel car for departure on 630 mornibg, but wait for untill 640. then came a taxi to drop me off to the airport. not quite sure if is the normal operation or not
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Really good beach club.
Cons: No jacuzzi. Some of the furnishings and communal areas need a refreshment/replacing. Some of the front desk staff lacked charm for this level of hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The bed was amazing and so was the room! we only intended to stay one night but ended up booking another night. We had a couple of issues - The alarm clock went off at 3am (housekeeping should consider checking this in each room) and the light suddenly came on at 6am but apart from that we slept very well!
Cons: The food was terrible. The eggs Benedict was the worst I’ve ever eaten - the eggs were so overcooked and the hollandaise was disgusting. Not a typical hollandaise. The ‘special’ snapper was so overcooked they didn’t do the fish any justice in the restaurant I barely ate any of it. For a $400 meal, it really wasnt worth it. I would not reccomend the food at this hotel to anyone.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We stayed 3 nights after spending the first part of our trip in Hamilton. It was the serene luxury resort we were looking for. Lots to do within the resort and close to St. George and airport. There are 3 restaurants in the resort and all were very good (pizza at Sul Verde was excellent). Mostly friendly staff.
Cons: The room that we initially checked into smelled of cigarette smoke. It took 6 hours before they had another room ready. Upon check out they overcharged us by $6,000 (3 night stay). They did quickly resolve this but not sure how this could happen since we pre-paid through booking.com. If you are looking for couple only, romantic resort this may not meet your expectation -lots of families and unfortunately not all parents are responsible. The main pool fills up with children and can be noisy.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Stayed there with wife and infant for destination wedding, got a great price off a third party sure (much cheaper than the hotel website) but still got a huge room with patio directly out to the pool. I also saw the grotto bay (for a BBQ after the wedding) and would highly recommend paying a little extra to stay at rosewood.
Cons: A bit pricy, but you get what you pay for...

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable room.... Old Bermuda Style. Staff friendly and helpful.... Situation is perfect to get in to town.
Cons: Breakfast was fine but a bit confusing... Not sure whether to help myself or wait for staff. Uncooked eggs sitting out..... I noticed other guest wondering what to do too. Not a major issue at all but maybe just let guests know how it works.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, old world character
Cons: Nothing of note
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very attentive staff, good location to access downtown Hamilton and the ferries. Quiet and very comfortable beds.
Cons: Individual rooms had air conditioning, so the common areas could get warm, but this wasn't a big factor.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, their beach and the pool
Cons: Staffing in restaurants specially breakfast at windows restaurant were not trained and not enough of them around
6.0 Good
Pros: Beautiful view and nice building.
Cons: The hotel was very overcrowded. Too many conventions! We tried to check in at 5:00 pm and had to wait over 30 minutes to check in and rooms were not cleaned yet. The beach was completely full of seaweed and wasn't cleaned during the week we were there.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location/view from the balcony
Cons: Hair in the tub that wasn't mine.
6.8 Good
Pros: Fabulous location on the beautiful island of Bermuda. We stayed in one of the renovated rooms which was lovely, good facilities and a sea view.
Cons: The public areas of the hotel are very old fashioned and in need of renovation. The pool area was small for the size of the hotel and certainly did not feel like a 5 star hotel pool area, we used the beach every day which is beautiful.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The bus driver to the beach was extremely nice and friendly. The old gentleman at the entrance of the breakfast room was extremely friendly and nice.
Cons: Breakfast was very crowded and for the high rate we paid I would have expected English breakfast to be included. The hotel property needs renovation, you feel like in the 70ties. Matresses are too soft Prices are appallingly high, bad service and quality for lots of money. In the elegant restaurant near the beach plastic buckets were used as wine coolers. Worst was the check-out: not once the Lady asked if we had enjoyed the stay. She insisted on seeing my son for whom I had booked the room and for whom I paid the bill. We were travelling with our 3 kids, of course we also paid their room. And she refused to change Euros for me which I would have needed to pay the taxi to the Airport. We come from Europe and we are not used to such bad Service.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Big selection for breakfast. Breakfast was good. Rooms very clean. Inside and outside hotel clean and very well kept. Workers at hotel extremely friendly especially 6th floor ( Ralleye, Pascale, Chris, Nickeisha and Qunincy)
Cons: Island very expensive, limited shopping Not much to do on island And ferry only runs 3x a day. No rental cars on island only mopeds and Twizys. If you don’t rent one of these you will pay a lot to cab around.
7.0 Good
Pros: The hotel has their own beach access with everything you need there (towels, chairs, etc.) and transportation to get there. It also has several restaurants which is very convenient. Staff was very friendly.
Cons: The room's soft furnitures were very dirty, and some of them smelled bad or had holes in them. This was a little disgusting and disappointing for a hotel of this kind. The mattress was very old and it has lost its original shape, thus it was hard to get a good night sleep because of it was uncomfortable. Breakfast is not included and even the most expensive option which is $33 is not excellent.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Night music
Cons: Hotel is very old. Feels like a 3 star hotel. Everything is old: bathrooms barely work, restaurant food was bad (felt sick) and expensive, pool is super small for such a big hotel, to get coffee in the morning need to stay in line for good 20min, personnel is not very friendly nor competent (I asked to book a restaurant where we could sit outside and when I got there they sat us inside and told us that they told the concierge that sitting was only inside but concierge never told us), check in is only after 4pm and strictly enforced
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was musty and smelled like mildew...we asked for a dehumidifier because i have asthma but no one responded twice!
Cons: Too far from beach...in the advertisement it sounds like we are right on the beach. You have to take a bus. Don’t forget your room key to get towels and chairs You have to take a taxi or bus to get everywhere. Taxi $15-40 Bus $5-9 one way
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Old hotel with dirty couches in lobby area. Very unfriendly and not knowledgeable staff. Very small Pool for such a big hotel. Restaurants in the property were very bad and expensive. Just one tiny coffee place for morning runs. Very small beach area. Rude service. I will definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Cons: Old hotel with dirty couches in lobby area. Very unfriendly and not knowledgeable staff. Very small Pool for such a big hotel. Restaurants in the property were very bad and expensive. Just one tiny coffee place for morning runs. Very small beach area. Rude service. I will definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: View awesome, size of room and bathroom great, nice selection of restaurants and food was good, taxis always available, concierge helpful, shuttle buses great to beach, water to drink nice at entrance.
Cons: Line a little long at the coffee shop in the morning and was a choke point. Having more options for a less expensive breakfast would be great!
7.0 Good
Pros: Great location.
Cons: * 3 HIDDEN CHARGES per day on the bill - the room rate went up by $100/day after these charges! * Everything costs money at this hotel!

5.8 Okay
Pros: We enjoyed the view and the room was rather clean. The cave was awesome and the inflatables were great for the energetic ones in our family! We thoroughly enjoyed the Swizzle Inn, cliff jumping at the Blue Hole, and Horseshoe Bay.
Cons: We did not like how small the beach was and the staff was often rude and unhelpful as when we checked in some information in regards to dinner reservations or certain ways the hotel works were not properly explained. The inconsistency between different staff members was difficult to maneuver and food options were limited. The hotel could use stronger WIFI, more access to toiletries if you forget your own, and perhaps snacks such as crackers or chips that you can grab between meals.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: The location is fine if you want to be close to St. George.
Cons: We had several cockroaches in our room. I took photos and videos and complained to the Manager, for which they provide a nominal discount on our stay. Nearly not enough for how bad the property. Our "clean" towels had lipstick stains and we found many strands of hair which was not the color of either of us..so we knew the room wasn't cleaned well. Also, don't do the all inclusive. Just not worth it! Just pay as you go and you will be better off, especially if you plan on going to Hamilton for dinner one of two days. They charge a lot but the service is less than 1 star. Wouldn't recommend anyone stay here. I think Bermuda is tainted for us forever due to this experience.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly
Cons: My room was horrible. It didn't seem clean, needed painting, the shower was awful, water got all over
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Hi quality/ friendly/ green/ short taxi ride from airport/ beuatiful
8.8 Excellent
Pros: one stop shopping , everything was there. the Hostess at lunch and dinner was particularly warm and friendly , she helped us a lot with local advice. She is a great representative of the hotel.
Cons: the weather ( not really the fault of the hotel ) The older woman in the gift shop who has obviously reached an age where she has decided she is due some deference and does not need to be polite . She is probably un-sackable or related to the management . She holds court like a queen and is best left alone .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was amazing most beautiful views
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff. Is very friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Hamilton is easily accessible from the bus. It is very near the airport. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Lot of walking space.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location and everything around it
Cons: The staffing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing and so friendly. We loved the breakfasts, our room, the atmosphere, and the caves. We had a couple massage in the cave spa and loved it. The sound of dripping water reverberating through the cave was just so relaxing. I recommend a stay here to anyone who visits bermuda.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely ground rooms and views with surprising bonuses like an on site cave you can swim in and dive trips that leave from the property dock. Beach is gorgeous and pool is large and heated. Nice activities like the free standup comic and dance nights.
Cons: Food is just ok and relatively expensive and drinks are pretty watery. Not terrible but not of a quality with the rest of my experience which is outstanding.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location was the best! Staff was excellent.
Cons: It was somewhat expensive.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Did not have breakfast there.
Cons: Too expensive for what is offered.

Pros: The property is a bit expensive but the staff are helpful, the ferry is convenient and it's in a great location.
Cons: The pool was drained our entire stay.
7.0 Good
Pros: The view was spectacular.
Cons: Our room had big cockroaches running around in the evening. The staff was great at coming over to clean up and make sure it does not happen again.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I got the One Bedroom Suite and my view was amazing. It was just a very relaxing suite which I loved. The staff was AMAZING, Sierra at the front desk was awesome, she answered any questions and also came up with super helpful suggestions.
Cons: I didn’t particularly like the cleanliness of the bathroom. It could have been much cleaner.
5.5 Okay
Cons: No activities and just basic facilities
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, lovely staff and very good value for money
Cons: Front of house staff needed to smile a little more
10.0 Excellent
Pros: View from balcony
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was beautiful! The pool area is amazing! And the shuttle services by car to the beach and by boat to Hamilton were wonderful!
Cons: The air conditioning kept turning off but somebody fixed it quickly each time. I would suggest a few more quick breakfast items - bagels, muffins, granola bars, etc... for those wanting a quick breakfast before heading off for the day.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The reception and concierge were fantastic and accommodating with our luggage and transport requirements. Thank you
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This property is well appointed, overlooking Hamilton Harbour. It is in pristine condition and has a very upscale feel to it. The room was tastefully done and very comfortable. They anticipated our arrival by having ice in the ice bucket, a nice touch.
Cons: Our reservation at the SPA was mixed up and took about 5 minutes or so to correct. We were given facial products to compensate for the error. Our coffee at breakfast was served warm and we had to ask to have it reheated. They brought a fresh pot that was pipping hot. I had Christmas lunch there last year and coffee was served warm then.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: View, large rooms
Cons: ventilation from the kitchen next to the room caused an unbearable smell. we changed the room. Far from Hamilton.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location and staff! We were upgraded to a room right off the ocean which was lovely!
Cons: The accommodations are a little dated, but we were expecting that so it didn't bother us.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: So accommodating for our honeymoon - they gave us strawberries and champagne!
Cons: Hotels in Bermuda are way too expensive and so many fees. Would suggest air bnb
6.8 Good
Pros: Rooms are nicer than the photos portray Some staff super helpful and friendly (however about 10% either very rude or blunt) Great beach location Reasonably priced vs other Bermudan hotels (Much better value than the fairmont southampton for the overall package provided)
Cons: Some staff very rude (one older bar lady), some staff blunt to the point of almost verging on rude (one receptionist), however ALL of the other staff were great No in room dining
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location and beach!! Well kept landscape.
Cons: Rooms need updating. Bathrooms need to be cleaned much better.Mirning coffee should be provided in lobby in th morning
4.3 Okay
Pros: Location to town ad restaurants
Cons: Attitude, helpfulness absent. Forgot to call our airport taxi.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was excellent at desk, on grounds and in restaurant. Steve, with his bright smile and Mavis and Susie's warmth and kindness were typical of staff we met who made our time with more pleasant.
Cons: With all else about our stay being delightful and pleasant, I must honestly say that the restaurant offerings need to be reviewed and modified to keep up with your quality standard. Since we ate most meals in your restaurant to keep cost of cab fare down, we rather quickly got bored with repetitive menus for lunch and dinner--specials several evenings were just the same pasta dish with a different sauce and/or protein than previous offerings or menu items. The BBQ on Thursday must have been delicious because most of the offerings were gone when we arrived about an hour before it was supposed to close. We ordered port after dinner at two meals, and both times found crystallized deposits in the lees of our glasses (apparently the wine was stored incorrectly for a long time) --would have been fine had it been decanted or strained, but unpleasant when not.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing! So friendly and remembered us every time!
Cons: Would love a bit of a more robust menu at breakfast. Maybe a bit more modern decor in the rooms! Updated shower!
6.0 Good
Pros: Nice green spaces, lovely pool area and beautiful beach view.
Cons: No room service after hours. Only one restaurant option which was limited and the room had no iron.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The people and the view
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Somewhat secluded and quiet which is exactly what we wanted. Staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. Facilities were beautiful ( although a bit hilly). If you are looking for a quiet retreat to relax I highly recommend Coco Reef Resort!
6.3 Good
Pros: The hotel is very pretty, it has an old charm to it. I liked the decor and the location. I had a nice view of the beach from my room's balcony. We were able to catch the bus to Hamilton (the city) right off the main entrance. And the area felt very safe.
Cons: Poor front desk service. I got to Bermuda late, it was almost midnight when I got to the hotel and It took almost 2 hours for us to get to our room because the reservation was screwed up. They had my guest's name as the main person on the reservation, and the woman at front desk didn't seem to know what she was doing. Water got cut off for hours the second day and we couldn't get a shower. The pool wasn't functional as advertised and Breakfast was very basic for the amount of money they charged. And in general the hotel atmosphere was pretty dead.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Food not very good bed was excellent.
Cons: The swimming pool filled with water period. Let me know that I had a frigerator in my room I found it on the last day. Needs washer and dryer
Greenbank Guest House - Mount Pleasant - Building
17
8.3 Excellent (28 reviews)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Greenbank was beautiful. The surrounding area was gorgeous and we were even able to take a swim off the dock. The owner and other people staying there were all friendly and helpful!
Cons: It was a bit pricey but it’s difficult to say due to the holiday weekend in Bermuda and the overall expensive nature of stay!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were brilliant. Melanie was fantastic and so was Diana. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were cleaned every day and we were given fresh towels every day too. Beach towels were also provided which was great. The location is right on the water front and the views and sunsets were stunning. The ferry ride across the water into Hamilton was cheap ($3.50 each trip), punctual and a welcome way to see a little more. Taxis were easy to arrange and cost around $12-15 into town. If you are going to do a lot of travelling via bus or ferry, buy a book of tickets from the Ticket office in Hamilton ferry port. Fishing off the landing dock is sure to be successful too.
Cons: The location isn't right where action is, so a scooter is needed if ferries, buses and taxis aren't your thing. You will need some form of transport to get to the supermarket for supplies but this is a minor inconvenience rather than a dislike.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Kitchen and bathroom could be updated. Would expect if room updated, could charge a higher amount.
6.3 Good
Pros: The units are like individual apartment or guest rooms, each slightly different and Decour and style and set up of their kitchenette. Bathrooms could use a little updating and re-grouting in the shower, there was some deferred maintenance obvious. The guest house offices and common living room was beautiful and well kept. The location is that a quiet street that it is difficult to get taxi service to and from but it is very close to the ferry that takes you into Hamilton. Owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating on arrival.
Cons: Condition of the bathrooms Lack of any amenities
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location and grounds were excellent, and the manager - Melanie - is wonderful.
Cons: Very small shower.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location close to Hamilton ferry. Friendly and helpful owner. Beautiful gardens and water views.
Cons: Needs some updating.

Pros: Though far from Hamilton, easily access via bus # 7, or via bus # 8 with 1km walk.
Cons: Wifi is only available in the small room. No wifi signals in the bedroom. No need to put away our personal stuff between nights. It took us some time to find where our stuff is and double check we had collected all our stuff before checking out.

Overview Reviews
Located, in the UNESCO World Heritage site of St. George, on Rose Hill overlooking its historic harbor, set in nearly twelve acres of landscaped gardens, with a total of seventy-one (71) one and two-bedroom cottages that give you all the benefits of a self-catering villa for your visit on the island! With three pools, one heated in the cooler months, two tennis courts, gym and an onsite scooter rental facility to explore the island at your own pace.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location of the cottage and the layout was perfect. One of the three pools on the property was visible from the balcony outside the master bedroom. The pool was surrounded by a hedge which offered the perfect amount of privacy. The rooms were very clean and fresh. The staff are very friendly and overall the property is well maintained.
Cons: The property is overdue for a refurbish. The bed in the master bedroom was lumpy and the air conditioning was very noisy which made it extremely difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The final straw for me was the brownish water coming out of the hot water tap in the tub. I was really looking forward to a candlelit soak in the tub to wind down after a long week so that was VERY disappointing.
6.2 Good
Pros: Great location
Cons: Bad smells in room. Mold will likely make you sick.
6.8 Good
Pros: Bed was great
7.5 Good
Pros: Our room overlooked the harbour. We were just a short walk away to the town. The grocery store had a deli so it made for affordable meals. Breakfast was included in our cost.
Cons: Coffee was served warm at breakfast. We had to have it reheated. Otherwise, all was fine.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Bed very comfortable. Kitchen was convenient. Bathtub amazing
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: Carpet in room stinks, staff put dirty sheet on bed, no internet 1st day most important day I needed it. I will not return or recommend to anyone. Reached out to GM no answer yet
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location was amazing. Close to local st George downtown and st Catherine’s beach. Great way to relax.
Cons: No hot water... you turn it on and nothing but spitting air. When it finally came, it lasted 30-60 seconds until the pressure was gone. No customer service at all. Tell them and you get nothing, no reaction like they already knew. Morning breakfast included was little boxes of sugar cereals that I never fed my kids when they were young. cinnamon / raisin toast was the only choice. They offer a hot breakfast after sensing the disappointment, but after 25 min for eggs over easy, my scheduled taxi came and I left with no breakfast. Just the piece of toast. The small stuff I looked over with such a great view. But avoid this trap.
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: The front staff were rude and when we got there had to wait while they argued on phone with someone, food was disgusting and cleanliness of hotel terrible, this is way over priced and don’t be fooled by the photos
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I ordered breakfast (included with my room) from the menu every morning. It was hot, fresh, came out quick and delicious. They even made breakfast "to-go" for me one morning so my wife and I could eat from our cottage balcony.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Location was within walking distance to transportation and restaurants as well as the free breakfast included.
Cons: Mold in the bathroom, brick pavers broken on the walkway into the villa making a dangerous walk, no internet in the villa as stated. The heated pool cloudy/filter not working properly. Charged 2x hotel fee. Very disappointing for a 5 star hotel.
6.8 Good
Cons: Water supply issues. They could have warned us. Very inconvenient for half of our stay. They did put a modest credit in our room bill...but you can't make up for a day and a half with no water supply to our room!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice location on property and close to town Friendly sraff
Cons: Lack of television in bedrooms
