Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very nice family, doing the maximum to make you feel safe and comfortable. The room is cosy, dinner and breakfast are generous and delicious !
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Hiru Villa is like a secret spot in tangalle for some relaxed and quiet days with two beautiful and lonely beaches around the corner. We booked it for one night, but spontaneosly added two more, because it was the most amazing, comfortable and quiet guesthouse on our trip so far. The room ist spacious, very clean and modern and just comfortable with a beautiful view from the balkony. The family cooks every night just for their guests, if they want to eat in the (very big and beautiful) Garden. (We can recommend the prawn Curry, it was the most delicious dish on our trip so far!). The host family is absolutely kind and friendly, will try to help you in any situation, for example suggestions on what to do near the guesthouse. For everyone, who wants to spend some relaxed days near tangalle without any worries and for a very good price, the Hiru Villa is perfect!
Cons: There's absolutely nothing we didn't Like!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Close to the best Sri Lanka`s beaches, great breakfast and dinner, clean rooms, and hospitable hosts.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Dilum and his family are super helpful, nice and friendly. They took us to a few places with the car and helped us organizing daytrips, tuk tuk's and other stuff. the little restaurant was very delicious. further we got a curry cooking lesson with all included - it was very interested. there villa outside of Tangalle is absolutey beautiful. It's so calm there und you only here the birds and u really an come down at this place. The rooms are perfectly accommodate, clean and enough space. down the street there are the most beautiful beaches we've ever seen. most of the time we were allone there, but there is a cool beach bar aswell. i can highly recommend this place, it was worth it.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Actually we only booked two nights here, but in the end we extended it twice because we liked it so much at the hiru Villa. The accommodation is easily accessible, but a little out of the way in the middle of the "jungle". It is simply beautiful, very puristic and modern, just as we like it. In the morning you are woken up by birds and other animals, you really come to rest here. We spent two days on the beaches within a few minutes' walk of the front door. These were the most beautiful beaches we visited in Sri Lanka. The other days the hosts lent us their moped, with which we drove to the famous Hiriketiya beach for surfing (just a few minutes drive). The family took great care of everything, helped with the organization and provided us with delicious, home-cooked food in the evenings and mornings. The hosts are very warm and made our stay sweeter. The room was very clean, the upper one has a fan (was enough for us) and the lower one air conditioning. We would highly recommend an overnight stay there, definitely book :-)
Cons: That we did not have more time to stay longer!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Beautiful house surrounded by jungle. Very kind owners. Short walk to a very quiet beach.
Cons: In the direct area theres nothing going on, so recommended when you're looking for a quiet place
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We arrived late to the warmest welcome and a stunning meal. We felt at home straight away, I cannot recommend this place enough. The family are so kind and thoughtful and were so helpful nothing was too much trouble. The situation is perfect less than 5 mins walk to the nicest beach some days we were the only people there, there is another beach that is a ten minute walk which is also lovely and has a beach bar this was a bit busier but still only ten or so there. The food at the villa is the best we had throughout our stay in Sri Lanka so fresh and tasty....we cannot wait to return.
Cons: There is nothing that we didn’t like apart from saying goodbye to this wonderful warm family
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The host family was very nice, and so was the location. A little outside the town but still close enough, and with the benefit of two isolated beaches just a few meters away. Don't miss breakfast and dinner, it's awesome.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We had a very good stay at Tangalle. Beautiful and quiet beaches nearby. Very tasty food in the place. Recommended :)
Cons: It would be great if the room had a wardrobe / space for a backpack and clothes.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The property is located in a perfect quiet location far from busy touristic areas and steps from two amazing hidden beaches. We spend a day on the beach and it was just us and some local fishermen's. The owners did everything to make our stay comfortable and the breakfast was the best we had in our 20 days travel around the country!! If you want to relax and spend some days in one of the best beaches you have ever imagine THIS IS THE PLACE!!

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Taru Villas was truly impressive from the outset. The setting is a beautiful colonial style villa located on a secluded stretch of beach that feels private. Our room and bathroom were beautifully appointed and decorated - the most lovely room of our trip and definitely 5-star standard. The staff were attentive and accommodating during our stay. I cannot say enough about the food - it was outstanding and the best rice and curry we had in Sri Lanka. Unfortunately our stay was during the evolving coronavirus pandemic. Saying that the hotel managed to maintain the peace and tranquility, and were incredibly helpful when we were trying to reschedule our flights home. It was our honeymoon trip, but we plan to try again next year and will definitely be returning to Taru Villas.
Cons: Wish we could have stayed longer!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The taru villas are located at the silent mawella beach, perfect for long walks and swimming in the ocean. The resort is perfectly integrated in the nature with spacious and clean rooms in vintage design. I want to highlight the wonderful staff that anticipate someones every wish. Thanks for a great stay!
Cons: Erverything is perfect
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The perfect destination on the South coast of Sri Lanka. An idyllic colonial villa with a nice garden and exclusive beach area that makes it the ideal place for couples. The staff member that looked after us was incredibly helpful and accommodating, and really worked out just what we were looking for. The food was amazing, particularly the prawn and black pork curries.
Cons: The ONE thing that was less than ideal was that we were not told you have to provide notice the night before for the Sri Lankan breakfast. If we hadn’t read the small leaflet in our room and realised then we would have missed out on the delicious local meal. Luckily we did and it was great!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This hotel is simply in a league of its own. The staff are attentive without being too pushy. They are friendly and professional and have clearly received a high level of training. The whole hotel oozed peace and tranquility. The decor incredible. The setting right on the beach enviable. The food was simply delicious and very reasonably priced. If you are lucky enough to stay at Taru Villas, Mawella, I would highly recommend the Eggs Benedict for breakfast. The coffee served here is flavoursome and hot, the first decent cup of coffee I had enjoyed in 12 days since arriving in Sri Lanka. The coffee is served to you, free of charge, on request rather than having tea and coffee making facilities in your room. To be able to have dinner and breakfast on your own private patio, looking out towards the sea was surreal. I can only use positive superlatives to describe how awesome Taru Villas is. It was my birthday during our stay and the staff kindly presented me with a birthday cake and sang happy birthday. A wonderful and unexpected surprise. A massive thank you to all the staff for making our stay so memorable. It felt like we had found paradise. My only regret is that we hadn't booked to stay longer. We will definitely return.
Cons: Nothing. It's difficult to improve on perfection.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything about this accommodation was perfect. The service was impeccable, the food was amazing, the rooms were beautifully decorated and looked after. We did not have t ask for a thing. We celebrated my parents 45th wedding anniversary while we were there and the staff made it a night to remember. They went out of their way to make it a wonderful evening.
Cons: I cannot fault this property.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The property was just amazing. If you can, take the “master bedroom”. Its size, furnishing, style, the porch and the view are all breathtaking. Great, attentive service (all the staff included). They were friendly, kind, helpful, made our room sparkling clean and beautiful every day. Breakfast is super good, rest of the food is OK as well. Quiet, basically private beach with pristine ocean, soft sand and sunshine. Stayed 4 nights, definitely a 10/10 hotel experience.
Cons: To support longer stays better, a bit more variety of local cuisine and vegetarian options would be appreciated for the dinner menu. The AC in the master bedroom could use an upgrade, getting a bit noisy.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything. Lovely pool, great food, comfortable beds. The staff are fantastic and helpful. The beach is best in the mornings. Windswept and far from the tourist throng.
Cons: This us a fabulous, relaxed property with wonderful staff and food and facilities for a relaxed holiday - it is not for people seeking action, party etc. We loved it!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything. Food, grounds, staff. We loved it!!
Cons: Everything was great.

Good 6.0
Pros: Good location - 10 minutes walk to beach. Got free welcome drink and small breakfast for free which we were kindly surprised with.
Cons: Room was a bit unclean - especially the bathroom. Sheet was half white normal bed sheet and half a scratchy wool scarf? WiFi was quite poor. This place could be made better with a thorough clean after each guest
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Amazing value and really beautiful view of the sea from the balcony (top room). Good location between Dikwella and Hiriketiya (<10 mins to each). There is a communal fridge to put water/ food in + basic kitchen.
Cons: Hard to find staff at times. Noisy - it is advertised as soundproofed but this is not correct you can hear everything from the next door room and the bit just outside.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Great staff, clean rooms and beds, clean bathrooms and excellent water pressure. Mosquito net helped a lot. Has a fridge and a small cooker stove. The owner rents out 1 scooter for a a fair price. I highly recommend this place.
Cons: A bit up hill, but for me was no problem. :)
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Lovely big spacious room. We had top floor room with a balcony with beautiful views across the jungle towards the beach. There was a shared kitchen downstairs you can use. Highly recommend!
Cons: The location is situated on a hill, (hence the spectacular views) and located between Dickwella and Hirekitia beach. So whilst both are easily walkable it did mean that it was at least 10-15 mins walking to go to the beaches or shops and restaurants. Not really a problem, just a bit of walking is required!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The family was awesome and took great care of me. Much love
Cons: Nada
Good 7.0
Pros: Nice property, good Wifi, Comfortable beds and good mozzie net
Cons: Noise, noise and more noise. Street dogs went off non stop every night from around 4am Birds on the roof from sunrise Upstairs the walls and ceiling don't join up, there is a gap so can hear everything from the neighbours
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The family is very kind and helpful! The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. Location is also good! Perfect place to stay!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, food lovely
Cons: Nothing

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The House, the Staff, the Food, the Beach - everything was perfect and absolut relaxing.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Staff was amazing, always available to fulfill every request. Position, right on the beach. Cleanliness and room design. For NYE the staff organized a lovey seafood dinner with live music for all the guests, ending with firework and a glass of champagne on the beach. Th staff has been also extremely helpful to rent a scooter and to arrange for transport back to Colombo airport.
Cons: Only one small suggestion, the garden could be used and presented in a much better way
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Nice boutique hotel in Japanese style. Fronts on to a glorious clean strolling beach. Not much hassle from locals. No loud noises from neighbours. Food is prepared and presented well. Staff are quiet but always there when you need them.
Cons: Prices were a bit expensive by Sri Lankan prices. If you want busy bars and restaurants don't come here. It's quiet here.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Everything was good. Peaceful and calm.
Cons: There is no AC.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It is the BEST place to stay I've seen in all of Sri Lanka - both homey/cosy and boutique/with great architecture. Part of the staff is family, so I guess this also helps to maintain the feeling of home. Food is very, very good and the beach is a gem - very secluded (almost private), clean, with awesome waves (good for swimming), and real working people going into the ocean to fish at 4am. AMAZING EXPERIENCE for people to want to get away from it all and really relax. 9.9/10.
Cons: Not bad things, but rather something to take into account before going: 1. Free breakfast is great but basic - eggs, toast, some fruit and coffee - it's not a breakfast bar. You need to pre-order lunch and dinner in the morning at a separate cost to get the best food experience. Budget ~15 USD/day for the two meals with beer - will be more than enough. 2. This is a beach to relax. Look elsewhere for jet skis, scuba diving, etc.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Incredibly good value for money, Isana is a real gem.
Cons: nothing!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very cool hotel Japanese design in every detail, Nice indoor space fot eating or reading. Very nice breakfast served in a nice way. We recommend end local bread and curry.
Cons: One satir step was hard to see. It can cause accidents when you suddenly takes two steps. Please make it visible.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We stayed here the second time, we enjoyed everyday. You can relax in the garden right next to the beach, grab a bodyboard and have fun in the waves, enjoy the great food (try the seafood barbeque). Dont expect parties- its a place to relax and enjoy stillness. The staff is wonderfull, the manager very nice and kind and helps you wherever he cans :) thank you and hopefully See you next year again!
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Awsome accomodation. Beach for ourselves! They also lent us bodyboards for free and arranged all the transport around. Very friendly and helpful staff!
Good 7.9
Pros: Fantastic location! Perfect sandy beach. Sweet staff. Food tasty.
Cons: No air condition. Rooms very dark and poorly lit. Had to order food far in advance.

Excellent 8.3
Pros: It was a very friendly! It was like a 25-30 minute to hiriketiya beach. You can catch the bus right outside the hostel. It felt hidden and special to be there. The value with breakfast and dinner is really great!
Cons: The facilities weren’t super clean or nice, so just know that going in.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great hostel, great owner! Feels like a home away from home!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Thats exaxtly what i love ! Special lovely hosts, wonderful guests, extrem chilled athmosphere, very friendly village, great beaches untouched by mass-tourism.... i loved it and now i am addicted to white peacock hostel and Nilwella :-)
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Sean was an amazing host! Helpful, friendly and a great cook. Every night he cooked a brilliant meal for everyone at the hostel to share. Breakfast was also included; cook your own eggs with bread and bananas, which means you can have it whenever you wake up. The whole vibe at the hostel was just super chill, and everyone got along well.
Cons: The only thing that could have made our stay better is if we’d have stayed longer!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Staff Location Comfortable
Excellent 10.0
Pros: STAY HERE! Great crowd of friendly interesting backpackers in a hostel with lots of chilling out areas. Run by a lovely team. Free breakfast and free communal dinner every day. Surfer and smoker friendly - awesome vibes. New Years Eve was amazing - we got drunk at the hostel and then danced the night away at a free party on Hiriketiya beach before going skinny dipping at sunrise! Thanks for an excellent stay!
Cons: Rooms hot but you can manage! Wifi not great but you don't need it when you have so many cool people to talk to!

Excellent 9.2
Pros: Great Location, friendly staff, amazing food. Beach is Superb and really comfortable for a family trip.
Cons: Needs improvement on the facilities, door handles and locks, and maybe some handrails on stairs specially for smaller kids. A lot of mosquitos during the night time, even with all mosquito nets and Repellant we could not avoid being attacked in our room.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed! The food was the most delicious and all local, the staff were extra friendly and attentive and made our stay very comfortable! I can not recommend the Last House highly enough!!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We have stayed there many times, for the charm of the house and garden, the quality of the food, the location facing the sea, the quiet efficiency and helpfulness of the staff.
Cons: The coffee - we take our own now and ask the staff to brew it.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Great staff and service
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Perfect hospitality in an out of the way location. Excellent freshly cooked food of the highest standard at all meals alongside the most attentive service but all done in a ‘low key’ professional manner. A perfect quiet haven.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This was hands down the most beautiful place we stayed. Being fans of Geoffrey Bawa and being able to stay in one of his properties was a real treat and cannot be beaten. Staff were attentive but not invasive of personnel space, room was beautiful with fantastic outdoor bathroom, at the bottom of the garden is access to a beautiful almost empty beach. Behind the property is jungle so expect to see some iguanas, monkeys and peacocks! You can also see the fishermen from the village taking their boats out each evening. Food is great, the chef is very passionate about fresh local produce. We were lucky enough to be staying when he did a Sri lankan curry night which was by far our favourite. Can't recommend this place enough!
Cons: Absolutely nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A beautifully presented property which was extremely comfortable. A beautiful location on the end of a secluded beach. The staff were discreet but very attentive to your needs. The staff couldn’t do enough for you.
Cons: Nil
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful. Stunning architecture, wonderfully unspoilt, no other tourists! Charming staff and delicious food, could’nt be better. Absolutely not for those looking for bars/social life/activities. Not really for children and teenagers either, perfect for anyone looking for unspoilt beauty, peace and quiet.
Cons: Nothing

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The family who run the White House, are extremely kind and attentive. The young daughter was a pleasure to talk with every day. They accommodated is when we wanted to extend our stay. The fact we stayed here twice as long speaks volumes for how much we loved it here. Can’t wait to come back
Cons: The bed, bathroom and staff. I even loved the walk up the lane from the beach every day. The wildlife outside your window every day was lovely.
Good 7.5
Pros: Good value. Big room and good balcony. Friendly tuk tuk service.
Cons: One of the workers was grumpy
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location just 5 min walk to the beach. Lovely staff!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location Friendly people Comfortable beds Rooms
Cons: A fridge in the room could be nice
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely hotel to stay at, just a short walk to the beach but away from the hustle and bustle of the beach night life. Rooms were beautifully clean and refreshed everyday. All the staff were excellent and helped us with anything we needed.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We stayed here for two weeks and had a fantastic time. The room was so clean, spacious, and had a balcony from where we could enjoy the wildlife. The White House is just 5mins from the beach and at the quieter end of the bay so it's very peaceful. The staff were very friendly and served us delicious and very big breakfasts which we paid for on top of the room price. I would definitely come back to this guesthouse.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Good location - a few minute walk to the beach, clean rooms
Cons: There was no furniture in our room except for the bed and a small table - no where to put clothes etc. The breakfast was expensive for what you got - just some fruit and coconut roti and tea/coffee. One of the poorer Sri Lankan breakfasts we’ve had. I was disappointed with it and left hungry.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing place! Very friendly hosts, amazing breakfast and not far from Blue Beach (5 Minute walk). Comfortable beds.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Really helpfull staff, walking distance from the beach.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: It is located right next to Hiri beach, the room was huge, very clean and comfortable, we loved the open air windows and bathroom, the yoga was amazing, the staff were very polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend!
Good 6.0
Pros: The feel of the room itself. The big room and massive bed. The gorgeous view from the open-sided room. Sleeping almost under the palm trees and stars. Proximity to a great beach but far enough away from the noise of late night party and music. Friendly staff.
Cons: While modern and upscale on first view, in reality it felt as if the management were deliberately cutting corners on many details. Ill fitting sheets, access to WiFi, bland breakfast + poor tea and coffee, torn furniture, broken sunbeds, cloudy pool.....as single things not such a big deal but all together, it felt unloved and cheaply done.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was heavenly, with huge bed and large bathroom. Just a minute's walk from Hiri beach but felt very tranquil. Delicious breakfast available in a cool roof top setting overlooking the beach and the jungle. We could hire surfboards as well for sunrise surfings, perfect!
Okay 5.0
Pros: breakfast was not good enough. no meat items even at extra cost.
Cons: they could have had meat as an extra paid option.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great hotel with amazing room (view on the palm trees and half-open bathroom, in the evening you shower under the stars!), fabulous pool, great yoga lessons in the morning and evening. Good service in the restaurant as well with delicious breakfast. Couldn’t have liked it more! Will definitely come back.
Cons: Nothing to improve.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I thought the property was surrounded by the most beautiful palm trees and an abundance of wildlife. It was also only a couple of minutes from the beach.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We were here for only one night and the place, the room, and everything is just amazing. we will be back, for sure! Thanks
Cons: the breakfast - the buffet is very small! but still okay
Okay 5.0
Cons: Didn’t really like the open air bedroom, being right next to the jungle. Not great for kids as they could have easily climbed onto the window sill and fallen
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Loved everything about our stay at Jasper House.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I had an amazing stay at Jasper House! The location was perfect, the open-air rooms really nice and clean & the staff super friendly. Don’t miss out on the morning yoga classes!

Pros: Nice place to stay. It’s directly located at the beach. At the dorm you have al lot of privacy. The food is also amazing.
Cons: You should know, that everything is a bit pricy. But it’s very worthy!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Staff were great and wonderful food , looked after very well Thank you
Cons: It was a great place but maybe abit too busy for us
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Great location on the bay, the beach is just walking distance away and it has the cleanest and clearest water in Sri Lanka and is a secret heaven for surf addicts. Got there after a 2km walk from the nearest main road bus station, but wasn't hard to find. Great atmosphere, almost always people around, very welcoming (coconut on arrival!) and attentive staff. They have a BARBER! I desperately needed that! Hostel house with its AC dorm has funky little private cubicles, where I stayed one night, before moving on the the beds in the open air cabanas for another few days. Free drinking water. The entire place is kept so CLEAN. Activities on the site, like a little popup store, live musicians and BBQs are a welcoming plus. Don't stay here for one night only, you'll regret it!
Cons: It said online there were bike (bicycles available for free) and hoped that this would provide me some transport to explore the area, but I was told they had all broke down and there are no bicycles anymore... Stayed one night in the air conditioned hostel, which has fully private bed cubicles, but wasn't fun when somebody at midnight decided to just turn off the AC :-(
Excellent 10.0
Pros: One of few places where they try to make everything as perfect as it can be. The price for the dorm looks high like 15 usd, but you get soo much value, free surfboard and amazing breakfast and your own private space with ac totally awsome. And location is 50m to beach
Cons: Prices in the resturant

Poor 1.0
Pros: The staff was really friendly. Good location - close to the beach and to the main road but the location is quiet.
Cons: The stay was far beyond our expectations. After our arrival we were brought to a near propery (a villa) without pool or a sea view, nothing in common with the pictures. After phone conversation with the manager he said that the hotel is fully booked but he'll try to find us a room for us in the hotel. We were accommodate in the hotel around 5pm (3 hours after check-in time). The room was overall clean but the bathroom was really dirty. Poor Wifi, no cable-TV and some other amenities which were present in the lisiting prior our booking. As other guests already mentioned - the prices in the restaurant are extremely high. It's no surprise that the restaurant was fully empty. We are not happy with our stay and we consider that the night rate was too high for what you get.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A very nice place and restaurant with very personal attending pleasant service. Eric the manager did everything in order for us to enjoy our stay. Nice rooms and a wonderful balcony with a view over the ocean. Great place for our family!
Excellent 9.6
Pros: A paradise close to a nice fantastic and calm beach without a mass tourism! We stayed at a large really great room and the whole place has a relaxed and nice atmosphere. The staff are really great and helpful and our family spend great days here. We really recommend this place.

Pros: At first sight this place is a bit scruffy and could do with a bit of a makeover. What sets it apart though, except for the beautiful pool and amazing beach view, is the staff. Eric and his team really tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible and meet our needs in the best way.
Good 6.3
Pros: View and near the beach. nice pool and kind staff
Cons: location - far from Tangalle! Being on my own, i felt bored there! The bed was awful too in the first floor room - it had collapsed! my back was in pain for days after!
Good 7.5
Pros: Very good location right on almost deserted beach, wild nature, very quiet place. Family room nice decorated.big patio.
Cons: Family room which we had is remote from main building and not beachfront. A bit sulky with small windows with no view. Beds short and uncomfortable. There’s kitchen with very old utensils,100 cups but no one teaspoon
Good 7.5
Pros: We stayed here for 4 nights with our 2 children. The villa is quite far out of Tangalle and not in walking distance to any shops but the location on a beautiful, very quiet beach and with a pool was superb. Eric and his team were very kind and helpful. There was a mix up on our room for the first night but Eric quickly sorted this and we ended up in the ground floor 2x interconnecting deluxe rooms next to the pool. These were nicely furnished. Would recommend these for small families over the family room which appears to be in a separate building quite far from the pool and beach. Food at the Esperanza restaurant was delicious. We also had a lovely meal at Five, Teo resorts along the beach. Five also do great yoga classes.
Cons: Suggest all rooms have fridges and kettles given how far away the shops are. For the price, breakfast should definitely be included - this was our most expensive accommodation in our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka and everywhere else we got breakfast included. Beach towels would be helpful too.
Excellent 8.0
Cons: Our villa was not in the main building with pool and restaurant. We had to leave the object and go 2-3 minutes to another building, which with small children was quite uncomfortable.

Pros: Amazing place with beautiful garden in eye and earshot of the sea, comfortable with mood lighting! The breakfast food was delicious and very nice to have a walk down what feels like a private beach in the mornings.
Cons: The area felt dangerous and not really anything around. (However absolutely safe within the gates) There were a few cockroaches in the room however no bug spray provided until we had conquered our 3rd flying one. They were aware that this was a problem beforehand. The hosts were great, however there is only one English speaker so most of the time we couldn't get our words across. And the coffee... Ground coffee can't be mixed with hot water in a pot unfortunately!
