Pros: Everything
Cons: Everything was great
Good 7.1
Pros: The property was well maintained and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Cons: I felt that the hotel was way overpriced for what it is. Plus, they wanted to charge me around $300 USD for what amounted to a load of laundry.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: very good hotel fantastic staff highly recommended
Cons: that i could not stay longer than 4 nights
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very good rooms, clean and comfortable, quiet place, good breakfast. I have found that all persons are very pretty and polite, good and fast service there.
Cons: i have found that they are not accepting payment in US dollars that are made before 2006, it may be problem for people who can come only with such US dollars, i think they need to reconsider this. Ther is no hair dryer at the rooms
Good 6.7
Pros: Breakfast was amazing, huge amount of choice!
Cons: Staff sometimes unhelpful, and unfriendly!
Okay 5.8
Cons: Considering the high price I would expect more food choices and a good gym
Good 7.1
Pros: Well taken care off. The staff is very friendly.
Cons: It’s quite expensive but doesn’t have the luxuries that you would expect for the price tag.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Good service, great breakfast. Expensive room rates of course but we accepted that upon making the reservations
Cons: Taxi's are parked a distance away from the main entrance gate.

Pros: The bedrooms are clean
Cons: The shared bathroom which could be improved
Excellent 10.0
Pros: My second visit to this place. An absolutely obvious choice for me. The owner is really committed to customer satisfaction and as helpful as can be. I have no complaints whatsoever.  Strongly recommended!
Cons: No complaints during my second stay either. Terrific place.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The owner is really helpful and nice (to find a tour to go to Assal lake or to go to the airport for exemple). Lovely staff (Said and the housekeepers). Good value for the money. Good prices for excursions. It's clean.
Cons: At 8PM, they asked me to change of room for my last night (not really professionnal). It's not close from the city center. In the first room, I slept with earplugs. It was the first room close to the portail entrance (mosque noise, etc.).
Good 7.1
Pros: Cheap and clean in the very expensive place Djibouti
Cons: Dinner at the location
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Nice hotel in Djibouti and I enjoyed my stay
Excellent 10.0
Pros: 1. Location - located about a 5-10 min taxi ride from the town centre in a very nice, safe, clean part of the city 2. Rooms - the room I stayed in was part of a new block. It was clean, sparkling with air con! 3. Lee - the owner is an extremely friendly, informative and generous host. Djibouti is not at all geared for tourists and so can be quite difficult and expensive to organise tours. I really wanted to visit Lac Assal and Lee drove me and another guest for a very fair price and showed us around many other view points along the way. In addition, on another day when I had to get to the Port early morning for my snorkelling trip, Lee dropped me off there since he was going around there anyway to buy fish! 4. Extra benefits - WIFI worked well, there’s free and unlimited water in the fridge, tea and coffee. And breakfast is included! 5. Flexibility - it was very easy for me to leave my stuff in the office on my last day since my flight was late at night. After exploring the city, I came back, showered, changed and then left for the airport. 6. Value for money - Djibouti is very expensive, but this hotel is the BEST value for money you will ever find in Djibouti. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
Cons: Everything was SUPERB
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything. Room is very clean and the beds are new and comfortable!! The staff are great and very helpful. Also a great location
Cons: Nothing
Good 7.1
Pros: A nice, compact, private room for one person with desk, single bed with good matrus, multi-plug sockets, air condition and reasonably fast internet included. Basic breakfast included in price. Excellent, helpful Chinese staff, who helped me with a number of requests during my stay. Local minibuses stop outside hotel and go to town. A simple beach 200 metres from property. Restaurant attached to hotel. Free bottled water available.
Cons: Room floor dirty and dusty. Staff didn't clean room. Toilet and shower far distance from private room. Breakfast only between 7.30-9.00 am. Expensive Chinese food served in Restaurant. US$15 per meal, no choices. No bin in room.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This place is proof that the cheapest can sometimes also be the best. Very clean rooms with air conditioning, drinking water bottles provided daily, good Wi-Fi,  superb (Chinese!) breakfast and an owner who goes far beyond the call of duty to help travellers. He truly wants you to enjoy Djibouti and have a great time!
Cons: Absolutely nothing to complain about. No problems whatsoever.

Good 6.0
Pros: I spent one week in the Atlantic Hotel. It is a very good choice for people having their business in the city center. Even though not the newest installation, the hotel offers well-equipped, spacey rooms that should satisfy normal needs. Except some people at the front desk, the personnel is very friendly. For breakfast, one has very diverse options that are more than sufficient. I felt quite comfortable in the hotel. There is a free shuttle from/to the airport, which is a definite plus.
Cons: The only things that really bothered my were: 1) One has to renew the magnetic room-entrance card every day. I am not used to this and therefore had a lot of additional journeys. 2) Even though I had given a precise time for the shuttle service to the airport, they make me wait for more then 30 minutes pretending this lateness to be caused by another client. The respective person, however, was not aware of my earlier booking.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very good service, professional and caring about customers. Fast and reliable WiFi, good breakfast .When I had trouble with Djibouti police for taking a picture in the street, the owner of the hotel came to my rescue and picked me up from police station, even bringing me a hamburger, fries and drinks. A 100 % recommendation!
Cons: All perfect
Good 6.3
Pros: its location is nearby everything you need to see in Downtown.
Cons: It's quite expensive and no swimming pool as well as some staff there very rude.
Excellent 8.8
Cons: In the heart of the city but you cannot walk around without beggers following you.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great position, great staff, good wifi and comfy beds.
Okay 4.6
Pros: Location is good.
Cons: Bathroom is very bad.
Good 6.3
Pros: Staff courtesy
Cons: Breakfast limited variety for Asian food
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The staff is nice and available
Cons: The bathroom
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great hotel, perfect position, staff were friendly and helpful. They introduced us to a car and guide so we could do a day trip to Lake Assal. Clean, very comfortable beds, wide variety for breakfast and excellent wifi. We checked out other hotels while we were there and none were nearly as good for the price. Would totally recommend to everyone.
Mediocre 3.3
Pros: Breakfast was not fresh with very limited options and not a great quality for the price.
Cons: Cleanliness is very ok, washrooms are not clean, the rooms are humid as they do not have air circulation and room smells dirty. Water kettle was having lime scales and probably no one cleaned it ever. For the facilities, it is too expensive.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Staff were outstanding in addressing issues. I arrived with a bad head cold and one of the staff took me to a local clinic a block away and helped me make an appointment for a doctor. I had forgotten to bring several printed documents with me and the reception staff printed them on color printer at no cost.
Cons: Bathroom drains are a bit smelly as has been noted by other guests. Drains should be cleaned with bleach.

Pros: The bar staff were nice. Food was good.
Cons: Too expensive for what was provided. Room had cockroaches. Check in and reception staff were unattentive and rude and slow. Not worth it. Would not recommend
Okay 4.6
Pros: Nothing really.
Cons: Shuttle from the airport was a disaster, the staff wanted to fit 6 people and bags in a car, I had to take a taxi instead. Service at the hotel is very poor for the amount. Not worth it. Don’t recommend.
Okay 5.0
Pros: location was good for me , staff are extremely polite and willing to help.
Cons: i got a room that was painted not a long time ago the small in the room was really bad . the pool was closed . for a 250$ a night i was expecting to get a room i will feel nice to stay in . when i was complaining i been told that there are no other rooms available in the hotel.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The staff was very friendly and quickly took care of all my concerns during my stay. My room was clean and very comfortable. I enjoyed my entire stay!
Cons: Smoking in the lounge area
Mediocre 2.5
Pros: I like nothing on that property
Cons: Very bad hotel , don’t deserve to hold Sheraton hotel name , sorry is very far to be part of Sheraton, is not clean , very old material and it’s smell very bad They are renovating the hotel starting from first floor everyday from 9 am until 18 pm very big noise it give you a lot of headache, the hotel food and drink are also very expensive Never have seen such things before , is the worst experience in my life I canceled my last 2 days and I moved to find peace in other hotel
Mediocre 2.5
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The hotel is old and terrible. The bathroom tiles have been painted over and faucets are rusty. The window is barricaded leaving only a slat for light. The beds springs are lumpy. No duvet on beds, only a bed sheet. TV is fuzzy and low sound quality. Staff are non-responsive and breakfast was skimpy and poorly presented.

Okay 5.0
Pros: Location was central.
Cons: $16 for credit card payment without advance notice and the payment failed several times due to shallow internet connection. Too noisy from 5am with buses and chants. Shower floods and toilet became stuck and more smelly. Toilet paper should be asked for. The chair was broken. Breakfast table was full of flies and the beans on the first morning tasted sour. Mosquito spray for bedbug bite was not provided until I showed them a purchased one. Passport was taken away just because they said the payment could be done later. The room was not served because the card key should have been returned for cleaning but it was not explained.
Good 7.5
Pros: The breakfast is good, the staff is good and you can walk easily to Nougaprix to buy some stuff or go to Place Menelik in less than 5 minutes. The location is not very good because of the van/bus terminal, but it's not dangerous at all.
Cons: It was not that I didn't like, but they thought weird that there was only one bedroom booked. It was my wife and I. They asked our marriage certificate (?). Of course, they are muslims, ok. But it was not written in the listing that it was demanded for them. I told that we were married and we were from Brazil and the guy allowed us to stay at the same room. Never happened in 86 countries so far, many of them muslims... just a remark.

Pros: The pool which was excellent

Pros: The location is very good and the breakfast also was nice
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: In Djibouti, there are two quite expensive hotels that are nice. We were looking for something much more reasonable, without sacrificing comfort and convenience. Las Acacias fit the bill perfectly. It is several hundred dollars a night less than the high cost option, but it is clean, comfortable, and has very good food. I was especially impressed with the front desk staff who were welcoming, friendly, and very helpful.
Good 6.7
Pros: Room is nice and pool area also, I liked the feeling of intimacy of this hotel and the decor. The staff at the restaurant is very nice and helpful. Wifi works well in the room as well as by the pool.
Cons: The pool closes at 6.30pm, which is already ridiculous considering there are 45 degree outside and no one dare to be in the sun before 4pm. I went to the pool at 5.50 pm and the staff was already removing the bed chair and refused to put them back. He also refused to provide me with a towel as i wanted to swim. I had to insist for 10 mins and threaten the staff to report him to the manager before he agreed to provide a towel and a chair, a service I had paid for. The a/c in the bedroom was not working properly the second night. Only one towel provided and shower products were not replaced the second day, lucklily I had mine. But for 185 usd a night you expect new ones are provided after using them. Extra guest is charged 50 usd a night
Excellent 8.8
Pros: It's super comfy, super clean and the staff were fantastic. The food is also great - breakfast and things you order off the menu. Best French fries I've had in Africa!
Cons: It's a bit out of town but that might be a positive for many guests who want to stay away from the "real" Djibouti. The hotel wasn't proactive in arranging my airport pick up and drop off despite this being a service they offer. I had to ask for it and it wasn't guaranteed.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The hotel is located in a very good quite neighborhood in Djibouti by the sea. The rooms are clean and service is excellent. The view of the see from the rooms on the first floor and second floor is amazing. One thing very special about Acacia is the staff. They are very friendly, welcoming and always go the extra mile to keep your comfort and safety. I really enjoyed my stay.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The staff were ALL very nice and friendly, I felt very welcomed. Great food and a great vibe, generally a nice place to stay...I would definetly recommend this hotel to others.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Evry thing was good, i like the Hotel.

Good 7.5
Pros: Staff super nice and very helpful. It is a clean place, we shared bathroom and they were cleaning all the time. The room is comfortable and there is air conditional that was essential for us with 45 degrees outside.
Cons: We could not pay with card, we had to search for a ATM (but not really a big problem)
Good 7.5
Pros: Clean. Wifi
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Good localisation, great staff and good price/quality ratio.
Okay 5.4
Pros: Staff very supportive
Cons: Shared bathroom and it's condition
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Staff courtesy and first clean and confortable bed found in Djibouti after some days "on adventure". The price is expensive but all the hotels are expensive in Djibouti, so it is good value for money. Nice they bring breakfast at room or in the outdoor patio.
Cons: The breakfast is too simple, only 1 omelette and 1 small creamy cheese! We had bathroom facilities in the room and faced no issue.
Good 6.3
Cons: Having to move out of the hotel to look for dinner!
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The staff were helpful and friendly
Mediocre 3.8
Cons: Wifi didn't work at the first room, there was nobody at the reception. Nobody knew when anybody would be at the reception. I asked beforehand for a transfer to the airport and got a positive answer. When I was at the property the answer changed to: "Yes, there is transfer - but not in the mornings" (coincidently the time I needed to go to the airport). So I was told they would call a taxi for me so I could go to the airport on my own. Unfortunately that didn't work out either. I had a lot of trouble in reaching the airport, and finally reached it quite late. Service was so not okay at this place. A no-go.
Good 7.5
Cons: well the hotel is clean as snow and all rooms have air conditioner, however with a common bathroom with hot shower, since its common this might give a disadvantage for a guest who look for a complete privacy. other ways it was my excellent choice

Pros: Egremont bad attitude dirty I have never seen hotel like that in entire life thank you for asking me?
Cons: Non
Good 7.1
Pros: Staff were sincere, but underequipped.
Cons: The toilets were clean but shabby and outdated. Communication was tough. Except for one lady, nobody understood English. Little or no arrangements for food and beverages. Breakfast was starvation diet.
Good 7.1
Pros: The room is not so bad as said by others though it not so good. If you know everything is so expensive here, you will understand that the room deserves the rate. The breakfast is bread with jam and cheese, red tea or coffee is available at your request. Food is not so rich but it's enough. It's location is in the downtown. The receptionist is friedly. Wash-room is not so bad as comment.
Cons: Sometimes it a bit noisy in the middle night, but not so much.
Good 7.9
Pros: Location
Cons: Location
Mediocre 2.9
Cons: Ac was non functional Toilet was not clean Shower handle was broken Basin was also not clean Breakfast was worst I ever had in life they just gave big loaf of bread with small butter Internet wifi was very weak .
Okay 5.8
Pros: In the city centre.
Cons: Breakfast is served only after 6.30 am. Reception not always manned. Noisy on Thursday night.
Good 6.3
Pros: Well, the location is great, if you for some reason want to stay close to the Place Melenik, which is just around the corner. I stayed in a small apartment at a good rate for Djibouti, about 81USD per night, and it was a spacious room with two double beds, a sitting room, a small kitchenette and a small bath. The bed and the sofagroup was just fine. Breakfast was served in the room, two pieces of bread, a sweet bread, butter, jam and coffee or tea. Free wifi, but very unstable.
Cons: The kitchenette was absolutely useless, as there was nothing in it except for a small fridge. No cups, no cutlery, no water boiler, and the microwave oven had the wrong power - it had a three pin contact in a room with two pin power outlets. The bath was ok, but no light above the mirror, no soap and no shampoo. There was a safe in the cupboard, but out of service. Staff is fairly efficient, but not very friendly - expect no smiles from the hijabwearing women who front the reception. Please note that this is an islamic hotel, which means you can not share the room with anyone except your husband/wife - and bring the wedding certificate. Also no "alcoholic behaviour" - but I brought a bottle of red in the room anyway. No windows except towards the inner hall, which starts to get a bit noisy after 06, so bring your earplugs. And it is on the second floor, no elevator, if that is a problem for you. (But if you are not fit for walking, you should not visit Djibouti at all due to crazy traffic and cars parked on all the sidewalks.)
Good 6.7
Pros: The location is good. The wifi is good.
Cons: No power sockets in bedroom, no drinking water, basic breakfast. No value for money. They charged me $25 for airport pickup, should be $15 max.
