code lock door, no need to check out, cleanliness, food beverages automat beside minibar
The hotel was clean and quiet, the centre was within a walking distance. Breakfast too expensive, we ate in our room or in the city.
Close to the city center and a great value for your money. Plus the tram and train station close to the hotel was also great. Price of breakfast.. but that is a problem at all hotels.
Simple comfortable hotel with good public transport links to the city.
Very limited choices for breakfast. It is not worth the cost they charge for it.
Free internet connection in the room; free parking space; very nice room
The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Nice, clean room. Parking and internet facilities available for free. Hotel is situated in a nice subburb of dresden. The center of Dresden can be reached by tram in 30 minutes, a ride which gives you a nice view of the town. The tram stop is on a 20 minutes walk of the hotel. A bit strange that you have to say one day in advance that you want to have breakfast. Breakfast a bit "modest".
The room was very clean. We stayed at the attic room and because of the window under the bed, you can sleep under the stars. It is a little bit outside of the city center. Can be relatively easy to reach with public transportation, but be careful with the tram and bus bus network, the tram with the station "Grundstraße" stops at the other end of the street, which is approx. 3 km away from the hotel.
Owner was very nice - knew some english, and tried very hard! Room was tidy on the very top floor, and fan was provided. Unfortunately the fan didnt work all that well as it was very hot on the top floor, and I didnt sleep all that well. At least they knew it was going to be hot and tried to help the situation with a fan! Try to ask for a room that isnt on the top floor in mid summer :) Also no lift - although we are young we still had to carry our luggage upstairs and we were puffing at the end of it!
the atmosphere and nice service pilows :-)
very nice rooms for a guesthouse certainly good value for money!!!
The room was silence and perfectly clean. We stayed in a double room but the double bed is made of summing two single bed. This was bad for our backs.
I liked the rooms, very spacious, clean, with everything you need. Bus and tram close to the hotel go to the city center.
Room is very spacy. The house owner is very gentle. Noise because the hotel is just closed to road. And there is some big spiders in the room, scaring my wife. The breakfast, but buffet one, is so little, and different people get different food.
The hotel is very warm and cosy. We had a very pleasent stay at it. The rooms were very clean and as expected. Everything was as described on the web site. It is close to public transport in a very nice and calm neighbourhood. There are a couple of restaurants near the hotel.
Great residential location and a unique building completely modernized but with a quaint flavor.
Breakfest was excellent, quite place, very clean Lack of hair dryier
Exceptionally clean. Very good room furnishing - nice and comfortable. Very good breakfast. No
Close to major road and a bit from town. Though the public transport wasn't too difficult to work out.
Although a little far from the city center, a tram can leave you there easily. Comfortable and new. Totally worth it for the price you pay.
The room was very spacious and location is within 10 min from center by tram (Public transport is very good in Dresden). The breakfast service could be improved: have a bit more variety in terms of food choice
Location to down town Dresden. Easy access to street cars. Small urban village. When we arrived the hotel was closed. There was a phone number on the door. We called the number and we got an answering machine. We left a message. We walked down the street to the next entrance way and found a bell/button for "My Bed Dresden" After about 15 minutes someone arrived and told us that the rooms were not ready. We said ok and we left till 3:30pm. When we returned at 3:30 the hotel was again closed. We rang the bell next door and someone came over from across the street. Our room was located across the street in an apartment building. The room was sparcely furnished with ikea furniture. The bed was a students bed, a bit small for two adults. There was no internet and we were told to go to the internet cafe.
Easy to find, 10 minutes from highway, free parking on street nearby. Small room, minimalistic interior, internet was out of order
Location although just outside the centre, very easy to get to by tram and bus, and if its very fine a nice walk along the river. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast good value for the price although it would have been nice to have some cereal choice. Staff very helpful.
It was affordable, very clean and friendly. I would stay there again. Nope, I was very satisfied.
It's a budget accommodation and it's not too far away from the old town if you are driving. There's TV in the room. If you plan to check in late, the reception is closed and you'll have to call and speak in German. We were lucky that a local guest was also waiting outside the door and he called for us. Or we may have to look for another accommodation at 9pm. The room is okay but several things needed to be repaired (shower head holder, blind, etc.).
- the city center was easy to reach from the hotel, by tram - the staff did not speak any English and was not very friendly; - for 9 days, nobody cleaned my room ; - in the description of the room was presented a wash-basin, a toilet and a chichinette and in reality , none of these were present in the room, but on the hall ; - the directions to reach the hotel were wrong : they recommended me to walk 2 streets and then take a tram, when there were trams starting directly from the train station ; - it was listed that the reception is opened until 8 p.m., but at 7 p.m. the staff has already left ; - the heating was working only a few hours per day and in some days it was stopped
I loved my big airy room, and that the friendly reception guy carried my bag up when he showed me to it. It was very handy to have a market, restaurants, and streetcar stop so close. It was a bit out of the center. My biggest problem was the breakfast system. There were only five tables, but several of them were always covered with used dishes, and there was no way to even pour a cup of coffee until they were cleared and reset. They should either set out dishes and let people help themselves, or add extra staff to keep up with the work.
To be honest it's not a hotel. It's a group of flats divided to rooms. They are in two buildings on opposite sides of a street. It's not far away from town's center. It seems they are starting, everything is brand new IKEA. Mattress on a bed was very thin. They have better in IKEA ;) There is no room service. Breakfest was a disaster. No warm dishes (eggs, vienna sausages, wurst), no fresh vegetables, they even ran out of milk on second day! Such a breakfest should be included in ro0m's price not charged extra.
Huge room with a large comforatble bed and a nice bathroom. Very clean, and one block from the the S-Bahn to town. The free parking lot was just barely large enough for 2 cars. If you need to leave before 8 - there is no breakfast.
Staff was very pleasant. The room was very nice. The bathroom was very clean.
The Staff was excellent in attending to details. It was immaculate in its cleanliness. Breakfast was superb in every detail. Internet worked very well. It was quiet. I would highly recommend it. If we go back to Dresden we would make this our first choice.
Clean rooms, quiet district, helpful staff, good breakfast. Recommendable. Location is a bit out of center.
Good breakfast, nice staff. Good hostel for budget travelers A little bit far from city centre, a little bit noisy. Pillow is too small
Heavy breakfast, nice hotel with good connection to the downtown Check in time in my reservation was until 8:00pm. I came at 7:00, the hotel was locked and noone there. After some minutes another already accomodated guest came (german speaking) who had a mobile nr. To receptionist. He called to get a code for a safe box with my room keys.
Good, clean rooms and facilities. Owner very co-operative and very friendly.
The attitude of the staff, choice for breakfast; location it is a little bit far, but you can use public transport and tram stop is close
Nice and very clean rooms, tasteful breakfast, family atmosphere.
Very neat, clean and tidy and a good breakfast.
Very good for this money. Exellent, if you travel by car to visit Dresden. It's really 5 minutes drive to the center of the city. Good breakfast. Owners were friendly. It's not very easy to get to the city without a car.
Our hostess was very kind and, although she spoke little English, did her level best to help us with directions, restaurant recommendations etc. The "specialty cake" was delicious.
