Location and amazing view
Hair dryer too old. They should remove the carpet
Breakfast was pretty good, though it was a bit boring after 5 days- never changed. Wonderful to eat breakfast out on the terrace with lovely views of the sea and old town. Terrific location and , if you fancy, easy to swim in the sea.
Piped muzak everywhere, kind of soft jazz. To be fair staff turned it down if you asked them (it was very loud sometimes). Most needlessly it was played (loudly) at breakfast . Sitting outside with magnificent views it was an awful lot better to be listening to the sea, the birds, nature etc. The manager and I had a discussion about it and the final two mornings he turned it off when he saw me arrive! I don't think he had any complaints from other guests either about doing it. Overall it was good but it is expensive for what it is- a pretty commercial chain style hotel with lots of groups staying.
The hotel was lovely. We checked in and were able to upgrade our room to a water view, which was stunning (our first room, which was on the street side, was dark) The breakfast was superb and included a gluten free section which was perfect for my spouse who has celiac disease. The pool area was right next to the sea with options for swimming in either spot. It was gorgeous. The location was about an 8 minute walk to the old town of Dubrovnik making the hotel’s location a perfect spot. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!
Not a lot
We were in the old part of the hotel, very tired and old fashioned, we had travelled to Dubrovnik for two days at the start of the holiday, we stayed at the More Hotel which was superb, we then travelled to Montenegro and again stayed in a superb hotel, we thought we would pay for a beautiful hotel to finish our holiday, but it was the worst, we paid £280.00 for the night, not worth it at all. Our bedroom window looked out onto a wall, no view at all, very dark, small room, bathroom very dated, rusty fittings grouting in tiles needs being redone. Very disappointed, couldn’t wait to leave.
Great location, spectacular sunset view. Lovely, comfortable room. Great staff.
