Pros: Breakfast was 100% better this stay. Cleaner because an employee was on top of it.
Cons: Mold in shower. Dried substance on back of bathroom door. Broken key readers by pool and rear exit. Broken water fountain at pool. Broken shower at pool. Leaky shower which caused slippery green mold

Pros: The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Loved the mini fridge and little kitchenette area. Bathroom was spotless and shower pressure was amazing! Bed was very clean and comfortable. the hotel is a convenient distance to St. Pete Beach and Clearwater Beach.
Cons: The first night I was there my friend left 40 bucks on a table. I forgot to grab it the next day before I left and when I returned that evening, my room had been serviced and the money was missing. I blame myself for not picking it up but it was disappointing to have it stolen by the staff. Right by the St. Pete airport and the airplane noise overhead was a little much in the mornings.
Pros: We arrived and checked right in went to our nice very large room and was able to relax with plenty of towels for all of us. We just came from Disney World to spend a relaxing day at the beach and so I needed to do a load of laundry, there is only one washer and one dryer so it took a little while since the dryer takes a little long and I had to wait for some else to finish. I did only have cash and the desk was so helpful in being able to change it for a roll of quarters! The beds are comfy and bathroom is large. The breakfast was better then any other hotels we have been to and had a huge variety to choose from. It is about 30 mins from any beach and we had already choosen Fort Desoto cause we heard it was nice and not crowded and they were right! It was a nice day. There is only a couple of fast food places around like a Chick-fil-a but that worked for us and there is a couple shopping centers and Restaurants about 12 mins away. Check out was quick and easy! We will bs staying here next time we come for the price and the comfort this place offers!
Cons: Only one washer and dryer but it was not the end of the world
Pros: Bed was really comfortable.
Cons: The Market was a bit pricey!!

Tropicana Field, Tampa Airport, and soft white beaches are just a short drive away. Our studio suites are 25% larger than average hotel rooms and offer mini-refrigerators, microwaves, and plush beds. Ask about our meeting space for executive meetings.
Cons: A pair of women's panties were found between sheets on the first day
Pros: staff helpful, beach towels and chairs provided
Cons: Funky smell in room like old body oder
Cons: They tried to charge a "resort fee" of $25 per room per night to cover "amenities" such as pool towels, a newspaper, small bottle of water in the room, down service, business and fitness facilities, and other minor incidentals that all major hotels provide for at no charge. I had them remove that charge from our bill. We will not stay there again or anywhere where they try to nickel and dime you at every turn.
No self parking - and valet charge was $22 per day. This is in the off season and an outrageous cost.
Pros: The luxury begins as soon as you walk through the front doors. The Sandpearl is a great resort with huge beautifully appointed lobby, fantastic swimming pool, convenient bar/restaurant with poolside service and gorgeous gulf front view. My wife and I went for a four day trip to celebrate our anniversary. The location could not be better as there are plenty of things to do within walking distance. Plenty of shopping and restaurants to visit. I also suggest renting bikes to tour the island. The staff could not have been more helpful and we even received chocolate covered strawberries one evening. What a pleasant surprise. We will definitely stay there again should we come back with the kids. The resort is very kid friendly with the huge pool and organized activities.
Pros: The pool and access to the beach was out of this world. Service was good and room was clean and had all of the amenities. Very family friendly (probably not the spot for a adults weekend).
Cons: Food options could have been better.
Pros: Well planned activities and kids club
Right in the heart of Clearwater Beach
Enough staff and services to accommodate all guests without feeling rushed or crowded - even with a full resort
Security to keep the private beach and pool areas from being invaded by neighboring spring breakers
Cons: Spa amenities left something to be desired - although the massage itself was great
No shower or changing area near pool - we checked out but spent the whole day at the resort since our flight was in the late evening. When we were done enjoying the pool and beach - there was no where for us to change or shower prior to departure to the airport.
Only 2 restaurants on property - decent quality - nothing special
The resort is not very secluded - it's right in the heart of Clearwater
Pros: As a woman traving alone, I felt comfortable and welcomed whether walking on the beach, dining at the restaurant, or sipping coffee in the beautiful lobby. I would return to this well appointed property with my husband or friends.
The hotel was amazing !! Loved everything
Pros: Friendliness of staff, always willing to make things better if they could.
Location is right on beach which made acess real easy.. Beautiful scenery.
Cons: I didn't like that the book in the room providing information was not
up to date. For example the vending machines are listed on the 6th
floor, they are no longer any macines. Also the phone extension to place
room service for late night food is incorrect . Please update .
I would also extend hours for restaurant in the afternoon if possible.
Add a snack shop or extend the hours of the coffee shop to at least
11 or 12 pm
Pros: Attentiveness of the staff was the most outstanding feature. Food was also exceptionally good.
Cons: Couldn't get the WiFi to work, and the staff couldn't help. The resort fee was pretty much wasted on me, as it rained for my entire stay. This hotel is a good hour from all the places I needed to go.
Pros: The hotel was very nice. The lobby and rooms were very well appointed with very friendly staff.
Cons: The pool could have been slightly larger as it did get somewhat crowded.
Cons: Included gratuity for poolside service
Sandpearl Resort is nestled between the white sands of Clearwater Beach and restaurant-lined Mandalay Avenue. The street performances at Pier 60 are a 10-minute walk, as is Clearwater Beach Marina. Caladesi Island State Park is 10 minutes by car from the hotel.
Pros: TownePlace Suites rooms are well designed and comfortable. In spite of being close to the airport it was very quiet at night. There is a small well equiped kitchen with a full size refrigerator, lots of plug ins for electronics and a comfortable chair and work table. There is a free shuttle to the airport which runs 24 hours a day. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Pros: The hotel was clean, the restaurant was surprisingly good, and the staff was very pleasant
Cons: The rooms were significantly smaller than any I can recall at similar hotels
Pros: Location, nice breakfasts
Pros: From beginning to end everybody were friendly and pleasant.
Pros: Very clean and felt secure. The chef who made the omelets on Friday morning the 8th....you are excellent. You were most accommodating and even recommended items not listed on the omelet items. I wish I could have seen your name. You truly enjoyed serving your customers
Cons: Bartender on the 8th had 3 gentleman she was talking to and pretty much ignored me and my sister. A Margarita is not that hard to make she took out glasses set them down and continued to talk. We decided to make it easy on her we ordered just 2 beers as she never started making the drinks. She still got that messed up. We ate breakfast and went to the coffee bar which we found the staff to be fantastic. The bartender is a serious weak link. She made it a choice to ignore us. Ignoring any customer speaks to how you value your job.

Pros: The location was perfect for me.the check in process was efficient. The clerk was very friendly and welcoming. The suite was amazing.
Pros: Dog friendly
Pros: It doesn't look like a hotel.
Cons: If I had to pick something I guess parking was a bit limited at times.
Pros: The location was very convenient. The staff was excellent-everyone was polite & helpful, especially when we needed something shipped to us. There were a lot of choices at breakfast. Room was very clean and sofa bed was comfortable for 7 night stay.
Pros: There was a kitchen with a good size fridge, stove, and dishwasher. There were many choices for breakfast. The staff was also very friendly.
Pros: The price was good.
Cons: The breakfast area was tight due to congestion. Should have later hours on breakfast. Pool was small often crowded, should have later hours.
Very clean. Very quite. Ok continental breakfast if you just want to carb out. I can't day enough about the room itself. Very spacious and very comfortable.
Pros: The size of the room and the full kitchen. I only wish I new ahead of time do I could have planned meals around it.
good value in a great location
Pros: good location, nice room had everything we needed.
Cons: breakfast could have been better
James at the front desk was very familiar with the area, and did a great job of describing and directing me towards local activities.
Pros: The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Free internet was a plus, and there is even a computer for guests to use in the common area. The kitchen was very nice; granite counter tops, 4 burner cook top, and even a refrigerator with an ice maker.
Cons: The breakfast was not great. Packaged muffins, cereal, bagels and waffles. On the third day, some yogurt and bottled water appeared. Before that, there was no protein available. The pool was stark, and placed directly in front of the main entrance.
Pros: The location was convenient to the Moffit Center The room was clean the accomodations were perfect small kitchen to make soup and a sandwich a desk that I could do some work at while my Mother slept during her recovery from an operation earlier that day
Pros: I like the bed and I like the fact that it has a kitchenette. My kids eat hot and heavy food in the morning; so it was very convenient.
Cons: The first day, the third floor had a strange smell (maybe the carpet),which faded away by the next morning.

Cons: Most horrible "free" breakfast in my 47 years I've been alive. I travel A LOT. This was hideous. The water from the shower and faucet smelled like the ocean. The complimentary "breakfast" made hospital food taste like a Gordan Ramsey experience. This place for a "value" is so over hyped. DO NOT get sucked in and now I seriously question sites like Kayak and Hotels and the other web sites that rate hotels, car rentals and so on.
Pros: It was super beautiful, staff super nice but
Cons: the highway is next to the hotel and you could hear the cars !!

Pros: My room was more than satisfactory, boasting incredible water views from every angle of the large balcony. Inside the room, I felt surrounded by elegance from the crisp white linens on the large king sized bed to the high end furniture choices used to compliment the large kitchenette. The bathroom was luxurious and spacious, perfect for relaxation after a long day on the adjacent white sand beaches. The staff, particularly my wait staff at Shor; Aki and Nate, as well as my bartender, Krystin; made me feel right at home as if I had known them for a lifetime. With their pleasant welcome and eagerness to make my vacation as enjoyable as possible, it was easy to see why this resort is so highly rated. I will most definitely arrange for another stay soon to revisit this beautiful resort and its amazing staff and will be sure to recommend the Hyatt Regency in the future.
Pros: the facility was amazing and so was the pool
Cons: the sheets were not changed in our hotel in 10 days. the hotel doenst have its own housekeeping staff it looks like. every day was a different maid.
Pros: Excellent food!
Pool was not overcrowded, even on a holiday weekend. We were able to find a chair, no matter the time of day.
Friendly, gracious staff.
Beds were comfy and we had more than enough pillows.
Cons: Technically, the beach is across the street. But we had great views of the beach and the harbor, especially from the upper floors.
Pros: Pool view of ocean.
Cons: Loud construction noise outside room starting at 730 am. Not worth $400/night to have to put up with that. No bar/lounge.
Cons: Beds were too firm
Pillow were uncomfortable
Pros: We loved the room and view of the pool deck. The location is adjacent to a pristine beach, the beach walk and not far from shopping, dining and transportation. My wife got a shell massage at the Sandiva Spa, which she said was very nice and worth the expense. Our ice maker in our fridge didn't work, but the staff was helpful, fixed it quickly and brought us a bag of ice. The hotel dining was also very good. There were plenty of options, local flavors and the food was delicious.
Cons: There was nothing, that I noticed or experienced, that detracted from our short vacation. It's an upscale resort in a resort town. So the hallway carpeting is worn and wrinkling, and there are nicks and scuffs here and there. If you're the type of person for whom perfection is your expectation, then stop here. You're better off building your own perfect resort from scratch. Save this one for the rest of us.
Pros: Staff excellent!!!! Fixed my problem with a bonus. Love those guys at the Hyatt...Worth every pretty penny!
Cons: My reservation from Bookit.com did not arrive in time for my arrival. I waited in embarrassment for 45 min while trying to solve the problem over the phone. The manager took care of the problem later. I will never book a res with Bookit.com again!!!
Idyllic location with sophistication, style, comfort and convenience of a luxury resort. Ocean-view guest rooms suites, fine gourmet-dining, full service spa, 24hr Hyatt Stay Fit gym, pools and fountains, and only steps to the beach.
Pros: The room was large, clean, pleasant, nicely decorated (boutique-like) with good color scheme. Very good air conditioning (I travelled in August). Comfortable bed. A nice desk, with good lighting. A couple of computers available in the lobby for internet access and printing. The staff was courteous. Snacks offered for sale by the receptionist, and there is a kind of diner there, too, for a bite to eat. Small pool available. The price was affordable, and I would stay there again.
Cons: The ice machine on my floor had a sign on it that it was out of service, and the drink vending machine next to it was sold out.
Pros: Very clean. Close to good restaurants. comfortable bed.

Pros: Rooms were spacious and clean. The atrium is gorgeous and inviting. Staff was friendly and restaurant was good.
Cons: Couldn't sleep more than a few hours due to hearing the interstate through the closed balcony doors.
Pros: What I liked best is the shower. The water was nice and hot.
Cons: The bathroom was not working properly, but offered to relocate or fix it. I was on my way to important meeting and the bathroom was fixed. It was a minor inconvenience, but it was resolved quickly.
Pros: Great location and bed was very comfy.
Cons: A/C was very noisy. Wifi was poor and the bathroom ceiling was falling down in spots.
Cons: Highway was 100yards from room window. Awaken by truck and motorcycle noise at night. Would request room on other side of hotel next time.
Cons: I found some odd kind of little insects crawling around on the desk in the living room area. The fridge couldn't be used because it reeked so bad. My daughter wouldn't use the quilt because the padding was so old it was falling apart inside and was in small pieces and looked dirty.
From the outside the hotel looks nice, however, don't be fooled.
Cons: Room wasn't nice and bathroom tub was gross
Cons: the room was warn
blanket had a hole in it
bathroom ceiling badly patched
lamps that did not work
Pros: Location, nice indoor patio. Indoor pool.
Pros: The staff was really nice and helpful. Awesome room
Pros: Staff was very accommodating and cordial! Convenient location, nice beds! Very Spacious!!
Cons: The room needs to be updated/painted and some of the furniture cleaned/replaced.
Pros: Price was great for what we got. Lots of amenities. This is one of the few hotels that has queen size beds with a roll out couch in separate office/bedroom. Stayed in a far more expensive place last year with double beds and no separate room. I'll save my money and sleep better by staying here again!
Cons: Everything was fine.
Pros: Location is the best thing.... close to everything downtown - Restaurants, Mall, Ibor City.
Cons: First appearance was nice but room was not cleaned at all several times. I had to request soap and towels everyday because they were never replaced. If they did clean the bathroom always had a sour smell after as though they were using a dirty mop or towel to wipe down. They did not vacuum once in the 8 days that we were there. To top it off we came back to our room to find the room next door to ours propped open and the pillows from the bed were all on the floor and the maid was nowhere to be found. The room door was wide open for anyone to walk in and the same pillows that were put back on the bed had just been on the floor.. this is just GROSS. Nasty feeling and I didn't walk on the floor with bare feet. I will never stay here again. Save your money and go to another hotel.

Pros: The free shuttle from the airport was why I initially selected his hotel. My sister and I needed an inexpensive hotel for a one night stay near the airport. This fit the bill! The room was ready as soon as we arrived (around 10am) and the shuttle not only picked us up from the airport but also brought us to a shopping mall and dinner for no additional charge! All staff members were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were comfortable with lots of new and high end finishes. I would definitely stay here again!
Cons: No complaints on this hotel. We didn't take advantage of the hotel breakfast so I cannot comment on the food. We went across the street to the Waffle House- which was amazing!
Pros: The price was awesome! Location was great. Room was very clean. Check in /Out super fast and easy. Staff was extremely helpful!
Cons: No continental breakfast but hey....less than a $100 a night I can deal without it!
Pros: Clean and comfortable. Probably the best hotel for the price in the area. Place has a bar and restaurant too. Shower didn't shut completely off and room temperature was hard to control. Otherwise, no complaints.
Pros: The "double" beds are very small. I had a reservation for 4 people and they gave us a room for two. I went to the front desk to look for a solution and they were charging us with extra fees to get a confortable stay. I cancelled the reservation and went to the Marriot accorss the street and we ended up paying almost the same for a bigger room and included breakfast. The Holiday Inn was horrible and the staff had a bad attitude. I'll never visit this hotel again
Cons: The staff, the room, the service
Pros: Easy way to get beaches

Pros: Great location, very quiet and very clean! Outdoor space was beautiful but we only went to the beach (why go to the beach and stay at the pool all day?? I can get in a pool at home). Beach was quiet, no large crowds or nonsense. We loved it!
Cons: Fridge could've been larger but wasn't an issue for us.
Pros: We loved the ocean view and the rooms were nice despite the size. Everything was clean.
Cons: As many others have said, the walk to the beach is a jaunt and the weekend we were visiting there had recently been a storm so the walkway was flooded with two plus feet of water. The beach itself was not altogether delightful- run down and dirty. We spent the weekend at the pool which felt very small and overcrowded. At the snack at we purchased a refillable cup only the find after drinking that there were ants in the soda line so our cup was full of dead and dying ants. Our purchase was not refunded.
Pros: Nice beach front location
Cons: Rooms were dated. We had a view of the roof and building across from that which wasn't part of our beach get away plans.
Pros: Excellent pool and beach
Cons: Bathrooms are on the small side
Pros: We had an amazing stay at the Sheraton Sand Key. I was notified via text to check in early and request any preferences for our room. I was given an easy access room on a quiet floor and a ton of extra pillows, as I requested them because I am pregnant. The staff was super accommodating right from the beginning! The room we stayed in was updated, clean, and had a great shower. The resort is beautiful with the option of the pool and the beach available. My husband and I just pulled pool chairs out onto the sand past the volleyball courts and it was peaceful and quiet, and very relaxing! The beach is beautiful to swim, and walk along for sunsets. The food at the hotel is great too! A great place for families and couples alike, hard to find! i highly recommend!!!
Pros: Enjoyed the location - Easy access to the beach, umbrellas and padded lounge chairs available for $25.00/day. We saw beautiful sea life (starfish, a baby octopus!, dolphins, pelicans, live shell dwellers) but no jellyfish and no sharks at all while we were there. Debbie, our Beach Concierge, brought us great sandwiches made upon order by the hotel chef for $10.00 each and she told us stories, answered all of our questions about the hotel and the area, helped us celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary -- She Was Wonderful! The hotel is clean and the staff was very accommodating. We had a wonderful experience. Our room had a partial view of the beach and it overlooked the tennis courts. It wasn't ideal but it was nice.
Cons: Our room smelled a little musty and it was located near the laundry/vending/ice machines which were all very noisy and used frequently. There was about half an inch of space at the bottom of our door to the hallway so we heard all of the noises from the hallway very easily. The room was a typical hotel room but the bed was very comfortable. And it's nothing that the hotel can control but the municipal water there is very soft and it feels like you're still soapy even though you're clean so it takes some adjustment to get used to.
Pros: I liked the bed itself. It was good for sleeping.
Cons: The front desk was a mess. 4 people working it, but still a line of 5 people. I asked for another night in my room and was told there was no way. I asked for a room with a good view and a balcony. I got a view. And a balcony. FACING A TREE AND THEIR MAIN ENTRANCE WITH THE PARKING LOT TO THE SIDE. How romantic....

The Sheraton Signature Sleep Experience and countless thoughtful amenities add to the welcoming location.
Pros: Good space. Kitchen equipped well. Exelent beds.
Cons: A/c don't cool down the hole townhouse.
Pros: I took a blind leap on this one and booked last minute. I checked-in in about 30 seconds easily and my room was a nice 2 bedroom suite with a full kitchen. It's an old hotel with character in what I call "old Florida style". Usually you'll find these around the state run down, but this location is in excellent condition with the room being remodeled. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the A/C was good. I've stayed in plenty of big name hotels that were not nearly as nice. There's no elevator to deal with since it's one story and it's drive up to the room for the most part so if you have lots of gear, you're good to go. It's about 2 blocks from the "strip".
Cons: Those looking for a full service hotel experience won't find it here. No baggage handling, bar, or restaurant.
At Island Cay at Clearwater Beach, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Pier 60 Park and Clearwater Marine Aquarium. You can get a morning swim in at the outdoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. Other highlights include a garden, and condos offer flat-screen TVs and designer toiletries.
Pros: Market Grille food and service were excellent. Very good coffee
Cons: Very disappointed with the room. No refrigerator or microwave. Royal Cup coffee was very good, but packages of powdered cream not good. Arrangement of room, lack of comfortable chairs to watch tv or read newspaper. Never could get room temperature comfortable, Seemed to be about 3 degrees difference in room temp and thermostat setting.
Pros: Our view was great, very relaxing, beautiful, rooms were cozy and the location was convenient.
Cons: That we didnt stay longer :(

Pros: This hotel was a short distance from our destination- Tampa Downs. It was very clean and the room was great. Hotel staff were friendly. We did have a problem with the thermometer but they sent a staff person over that was friendly and figured it out.
Cons: We did not like the fact that they were 'dog friendly' and there were many animals there. We are allergic and therefore will not stay there again.
Pros: We've stayed here before, so we only expect it to be as good as the last visit. For us, the location is good and is usually a very good value for the area.
Cons: Only two issues. 1.Housekeeping ignored us the first morning, even with us leaving the room for the day before 10:30AM. Hskpg was still on the floor as we were leaving. 2.The shower rod mount showed 3 exposed sets of screw holes on one end, still bad rpr.
Pros: Breakfast very nice! Cozy place.
Pros: location and amenities
Cons: overrated, price is a bit high
Pros: I liked how clean it was. Housekeeping for our room was fabulous! Breakfast was great!
Cons: Just the hot tub could of used some cleaning but pool was nice and warm.
Pros: Very friendly staff. The Hotel Employee was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Located perfectly to Ed Radice Sports Complex at a good value.
Pros: Very friendly staff willing to accommodate your needs as a guest
Pros: Fresh carpet.
Cons: A very poor value! Only one towel, and the 'extra' one delivered was stained.
Nice location with many restaurants to choose from
Pros: Very good breakfast Great Bed
Pros: The included breakfast was awesome. The room was excellent and included a full kitchen.
Pros: Great breakfast selection, and helpful staff.
Cons: My room and the elevator did not smell pleasant.

Pros: This was quite possibly the worst Hotel I've ever stayed at! The bed literally had a indentation from being so used! The desk clerk was rude, and housekeeping was knocking on our door by 8am! Heat didn't work, no fan in bathroom.., I could go on!
Pros: Comfort of the room and sleeping experience
Cons: Front desk who lost my reservation and after one half hour of segueing with him, he found my checked in package unde his left hand! The free breakfast cost $11.00 for an ok omelet and two sausage links! The coupons for the free breakfast disappeared from my room on the last day so no "free" breakfast! I found a $75.00 pending charge on my credit card two days later after receiving a no pay due bill from the front desk! The price per night was way to high for the value and service given! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and I feel like I got ripped off. PS. I'm a diabled vet who just returned from deployment!
Pros: Promised easy access and room was last one at end of hall on third floor.
Pros: Janet, in housekeeping was an awesome person. She made a attempt to greet us and call us by name throughout our 4 night stay.
We arrived early and were allowed to check in prior to 3:00 pm.
Cons: The room was nice but nothing exceptional for the rate we paid. I assumed the breakfast was complimentary but it is not. The food was good the morning we ate there.
Pros: The room size. The amenities.
Cons: Limited parking
Pros: Very nice staff
Pros: Clean. And next to city fish restaurant. Gave us late checkout at 1.
Cons: Kids in hotub.

Pros: Clean rooms, friendly staff, great location, private manmade beach, complimentary valet
Cons: Music played until midnight and was very loud in your room, manmade beach was very small, expensive to use their equipment
Pros: The pool area was nice
Cons: The rave music went from early afternoon to very early morning. The rooms also were not spectacular for the price paid. There was no ventilation in the bathroom either, which made smells linger in the bathroom. Overall I would not come back.
Pros: Very friendly staff
Cons: Didn't liked it it was in the beach and the pool and Jacuzzi was cold
Pros: Really enjoyed the overall hotel. Beach is small but nice. Pool is very enjoyable. Lots of bars that included specials. Hotel room was very clean. Hotel made our stay easy and fun.
Cons: We did find ants in our bathroom but didn't see it as a big deal, simply took care of it ourselves.
Pros: Several bars, a nightclub, and a stage with live music and a dance floor all in one resort. It also has a pool, hot tub, and a small private beach. Also walking distance to several restaurants and shops.
Cons: I wish I could have stayed longer (not really a negative comment about the resort, just wish I had a lower vacation)
Pros: The staff were very friendly.
Cons: The hotel smelled like salt water, which, I realize is most likely due to its close proximity, however other places I've stayed did not have that issue. This place is solidly just ok. Not great, but not terrible. A younger, less pampered traveler probably would have been thrilled by the accommodations.
Pros: Location and amenities are great! Valet was also great and they were friendly and fast
Cons: Being placed in the room directly above the club. I requested a higher floor to be away from the club and its noise until 3am
Pros: Music was outstanding! The staff was extremely friendly! Beautiful view!
Cons: Beach chairs should be free as a guest.
Pros: Loved the showers!! We stayed in fort Myers at a condo, then due to bad weather we decided to head to Clearwater. Best decision ever! Took the key west express for a couple days and came right back to shepards! We will definitely be back!
Cons: The elevates were slow... Took forever to get on one depending on the time of day. We mostly used the stairs.
Pros: The rooms were very spacious and clean. The view from our balcony was if the beach and the club beneath us. The pool was very clean. On Sunday's they reserve it for hotel guests only......as far as the night club, they play a lot of techno but on Sundays they changed it up. Ohhh I almost forgot about the cheap drink specials. You cannot beat a 2 dollar drink. The resort was awesome all in all. You never need to leave the premises. But if you don't like loudness at night in your room from the music, ask to not stay on the same side as the club.
Cons: Although there were no reserve seats at the pool. People did it.
Pros: The new renovations and the friendly staff
Cons: That the only way to park your car was through valet
Pros: I liked everything about this Hotel, the room, the cleanliness and the location. The icing on the cake was the live band on the deck, the club downstairs and the bar overlooking Clearwater beach. Now I know where to stay when I'm in Tampa.
Cons: Nothing, everything was an A+
Located in popular Clearwater Beach, this hotel features a private stretch of white-sand beach facing the Gulf of Mexico; Sand Key Park, Clearwater Marina, and Pier 60 are all just a mile away.
Cons: Noisy neighbors as they departed at 5am, though that is not the hotels fault.
Pros: Staff was friendly and hotel was very clean. Hotel offers valet service for $20 a night but self-parking garage is directly behind hotel wirh direct access to hotel. Beds are hign which was great for my inlaws and their arthritic knees. Beds were comfortable and the room was well groomed. Breakfast buffet was traditional foods so nothing spectacular but the food was cooked fresh and hot food was always available. The wait staff was very attentive. Overall a nice hotel to utilize when looking for something close to the airport, mall and restaurants- all are within 5 miles.
Cons: The hotel is attached to business offices so when I opened the curtains I could cleary see people working in their offices and they could see me which forced me to keep the curtains drawn.
Pros: Location, attractive room and lobby, parking garage, nice TV.
Cons: The high bed, no hot water, difficulty turning on shower, toilet running, broken bathroom door hook, no movie channel.
Pros: My room had only lukewarm water and was extremely noisy.
Pros: This hotel was really clean and tasteful. My room was very comfortable and staff was very helpful. Will stay again next time I'm in town.
Cons: I wasn't sure where the hotel ended and the business complex or restaurants started. Granted, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I kind of found myself wandering around and in some area's felt out of place in shorts and flip-flops.
Cons: When we opened up the mini bar it had not been cleaned in a while. Something brown had leaked in the bottom of the fridge. Very gross. We were told another guest had put some of their own things in the fridge and that's what made the mess. So no one ever cleans or looks in the mini bar? We were in a junior suite and you expect the room to be clean. Also there were 6 bed risers stacked up on the bedroom night stand. Will not be back again. Very disappointed in the hotel. You should not have to call the front desk to get your room cleaned.
Pros: Very clean hotel, and courteous staff. Booked this hotel last minute, and only wish I could've stayed longer. I would definitely be back to enjoy that rooftop pool that I missed.
Pros: Good location, free parking, clean room, very comfortable beds! Great experience overall...can't wait to return!
Cons: No negatives
Pros: The staff (not managers) are friendly.
Cons: My stay at this hotel was entirely disappointing. I requested a room away from the elevators and had called twice to confirm this request and was given a room right next to loud creaky bumping elevators. My friend had ordered me room service to be in my room when I arrived as a surprise and it was never there and would not have been delivered had she not asked how I enjoyed my surprise food. At my insistence I was moved to a different room the next day and the day I left the hotel saw a BED BUG crawling on my pillow as I was getting ready. I alerted the staff who was appropriately horrified only to NOT hear from a manager for the next day and a half. After repeated calls and emails from me including one to a front staff who said she had seen the manager and was surprised I had not heard back only to be lied to by that same manager hours later that she 'only just arrived' and that was why my calls were not returned. Finally after a rant to a lower level manager the front desk manager was all of the sudden made available to me and finally an investigation into the bed bug was launched. What is MOST disturbing is because they themselves had not 'confirmed' this was a bed bug (which is very clearly was...I have photos) they could not tell me for certain that no one else was staying in that room. At the LEAST that room and neighboring rooms should have been closed and checked immediately but the managers were slow to take action and initially very dismissive. It is a DISGUSTING feeling to have the experience of knowing you slept somewhere that has bed bugs and all the effort I had to put in once I got home to try and decontaminate myself and my stuff to not infest my house and my baby's nursery. Most disheartening was the response from the hotel on the matter.
I wish this review would let me submit the picture of the bed bug I took.
I was forced to stay at this hotel because of an exam that was being given onsite but I will never stay at this or any related hotel again. Not even because of the bed bugs themselves, but because the hotel was so slow to respond and so dismissive, potentially putting others at risk as well by not quarantining the room(s).
Pros: Very nice building. The place was very well decorated and it was apparent that considerable effort was put into the interior design of my room. There was a very nice fitness center with a full range of equipment (including free weights; a rarity for a hotel) and there were even complimentary earbuds (wifi was $13.95 but earbuds are free? ... Seems odd but thank you.). The whole place seemed very clean on the houskeeping side but there was some building maintenance issues. The staff I encountered were very friendly and hospitible.
Cons: With the exception of the minibar which was jam packed with the usual assortment of ridiculously priced things there was no fridge. Also, despite the a/c being set to 65° the entire time the room never felt cooler than 75° which makes it very hard for me to sleep. We were on the top floor so I assumed it was the blazing hot sun beating on the building but even at night it couldn't catch up. Lastly the wifi cost $13.95 to use which I thought was pretty steep considering every hotel I've stayed in for the past 10 years or so has included it for free.
Pros: Best breakfast buffet of any hotel.

Pros: I have stayed at safety harbor spa on thanksgiving for the past three years. Meet friends for holiday brunch and then stay the night. I decided to order room service breakfast. I got cold eggs, bacon and barely toasted bread but the worst was the inedible breakfast potatoes. I am a tea drinker and the carafe for the hot water was coffee stained and the hot water smelled like coffee. Plus it was 1/2 hrs late and getting a phone call thru was nearly impossible, the room did not have updated info on how to contact roomservice, I got a voice mail box twice that wasn't currently receiving messages, four phone calls. Never got thru. Plus it cost $25.
Pros: The location is beautiful
Cons: The staff was not helpful, billing and charges were not correct + plus I founds several more charges to my bill after my stay that were not authorized. Over all — not the best experience for my wedding night. I would not recommend to others.
Pros: After reading some reviews saying the hotel was dated and old, I was pleasantly surprised when the decor and environment was traditional and nice. The location was great for what I needed. I loved having a water view room, and I was able to take a short walk across the street to get to Starbucks and Crispers. It was also a short ride to the airport. The value for the room was great as well. The beds were comfortable, and the room was quiet.
Cons: The printer in the business suite did not work.
Pros: Comfortable bed, lime that there is volumn
Cons: Water temp was not good, very cool. Wanted a hot shower. Bummed
Pros: Best location for July 4th pool party and fireworks show.
Pros: The rooms were large and quiet. Beds were very comfortable. Bartenders at the pool were very service oriented.
Cons: The check in staff were rather cool and reserved, not welcoming at all. When we checked out they were also distracted, didn't thank us for staying, didn't ask how our stay was, No chatting at all.
Pros: The lobby was nice, the room was alright, and we had a view of the pool and the bay.
It was right across the street from Crispers and Starbucks.
Cons: This isn't the hotels fault or anything, but we were in the middle of old folks town, so all but maybe 4 places were closed.
The bathtub in the room was dirtier than the average.
We went to the hotel restaurant for dinner and waited over an hour for a salad and chicken and we never saw the waiter again after placing our meal order.
There was a $16 surplus charge per day to use the amenities in the hotel that should have been included in the price of the room to begin with: internet, gym, business center, coffee maker in the room, pool, etc.

Pros: I loved that it's apartment-style. I was also impressed with the large grill and fire pit on the patio along with the adjacent tennis court and basketball goal. Finally, the decor was gorgeous.
Cons: Nothing at all. I liked everything.
Pros: stuffs are friendly
Cons: the room we asinged is close to Front office, and there are music all night, I could not sleep!
Pros: large size kitchen, swimming pool, quiet location.
Cons: noise from room upstairs
Pros: This hotel was clean and is close to the fairgrounds and Hard Rock Casino. It's not someplace I would stay if I wanted a resort experience, but it was fine as a place to stay while going out to do other things in Tampa.
Pros: The friendly staff.
Cons: The slow elevator. I a have fear of them, so if that's my only dislike then I think I will be alright. Great hotel. Nice clean rooms
This is the best place we have found in the Orlando/Tampa area and we go about 6 times per year.
Pros: Amazing Suites, very clean, great breakfast, unbelievable service. Easy to find, great parking, kids the pool/Jacuzzi. When we arrived the nice girl at the front desk came around to the front of the check-in desk and gave the kids S'Mores.
Cons: Everything was perfect
Pros: Very friendly and clean
Cons: A king bed wod have been njce
Pros: Nice spacious guest room with a nice modern renovation to the room we had.
Cons: The front desk staff made us wait to check in because the 'Priceline' credit card was declined. Why not check us in and then resolve your accounting issues with 'priceline'. It's not my concern nor am I interested in how 'the hotel' is paid .
breakfast and weekday meals were very nice. was also convenient to local shopping and restaurants.
Pros: staff was very helpful and cheerful.
