8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great. Staff was friendly. Everything was super-clean. Nothing fancy, but cosy and adequate. We only stayed one night, but would certainly consider returning next time we come to Red River.
Cons: The mattress was a bit hard for my taste, but that's just a personal preference.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The friendliness cleanliness was wonderful. Highly recommend them!
Cons: Bigger bathrooms.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, did everything they could to make us comfortable. The cabin I first rented was too small and on the second night we were able to move to a larger cabin which was much nicer. Fireplace and all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was just across the street and excellent. We especially enjoyed the friendliness of the host and the smore's time with other residents in the evening. Such a great place to stay.
Cons: The idiot who runs Red River Off road tours managed to ruin one of our valuable days by first scheduling us for a tour and then canceling us out, saying he had to go out of town. Funny, he was there all the time running tours. Why he cancelled us, I don't know, but he is a very bad representative for Red River. We do not recommend Red River Off road.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice cozy cabin. Very clean. Met expectations.
Cons: Very small shower. There is not a 3 prong outlet in kitchen for toaster oven.

7.1 Good
Pros: Good location, great room, friendly staff
Cons: Breakfast was miserly in selection (maybe time of year?) and at $15 /person plus $5.50 for one capachino way overpriced. We ate our other 2 breakfasts in Town. The make up mirror didn't work. HBO didn't work despite the staff saying it was fixed.

Cons: There wasn't a single part of my stay that I could possibly complain about! This place was perfection! It is an older german cottage style so know that going in. It takes a little bit to heat up but our fire was already started well before we arrived! Seriously! This place was amazing!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Really great
4.6 Okay
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Website said this facility was 3.8 miles from from Red River; It was 44 miles from Red River, causing us great inconvenience and stress. The general manager was away in Michigan. Her friends were trying to help her out by handling checkin/outs; however, while they were very courteous, they really didn’t know anything about managing the Inn. My had to stand in the middle of the parking to call the lady at the counter because we had no service or TV service. Despite getting the special login we never received the text with the t v info nor any other phone calls. The room was very dark and had a tiny window that looked out over a dirt hill. The room was semi subterranean with no view. No air conditioning. Not what the pictures on booking.com showed at all. We had to kill several black spiders The drawers in dresser needed repair. One light fixture had a short and couldn’t be used. In general the inn was dirty. The pictures posted did not represent the inn at all. Neither of us could sleep very well because we were uncomfortable. The only redeeming experience was with Sara and her husband. But even they couldn’t fix anything. This was the worst experience we’ve ever had was with an inn or hotel. And we expect a full refund of our paid reservation This inn does not deserve a one star rating.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great , friendly stall clean rooms breakfast, very comfortable, we would return, and recommend.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The views
Cons: Getting ice from saloon.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We loved the accommodations of the 2 bedroom apartment with the kitchenette. Everything was so clean, and the bedrooms were quaint and cozy. I loved the view of the lake outside of our room. The property is well maintained, and it is obvious the owner is working hard to keep it beautiful!
Cons: The only thing I would have changed or liked better is the couch in the living room space. The couch was enough space for two people, and being a sleeper sofa, it was a little rough to sit in. The dining room chairs weren't uncomfortable, but they weren't comfortable for a night to enjoy a movie in the living room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Really clean and comfortable. Really quite.
Cons: Did not have a breakfast.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was quite cozy.
Cons: That I had to check out a day early because of a family illness and got no money back. It wasn’t like there were throngs of people waiting for a room. This policy anymore of hotels charging for nights not used, when you have to pay shead if time, is for the birds.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The property was clean and staff was nice.
Cons: Left property a day early. Could not take the beds anymore! The beds were extremely uncomfortable! The pillows were huge! Asked for some smaller, flatter ones, and they were flatter but hard. We stayed in one of the cabins with a kitchen. Very small even for two people. Maybe inside lodge part might be different??
9.6 Excellent
Pros: No Breakfast offered... Location was great
Cons: The lighting was not good...but it didn't affect our stay. Next time will probable inquire about a bigger space.
6.8 Good
Pros: The location is great, you can walk to the chair lifts from your room. The host and hostess are very nice and respond to your needs promptly. We had a coffee maker burn up and trip the breaker in our kitchen @ approx 6:15 in the morning, within 15 mins of calling we had power restored and a new coffee maker.
Cons: The beds are very hard and your are provided 4 pillows for 2 queen sized bed.(no extra in the room) The walls are thin to the point that you can hear what your neigbors is talking about on the phone.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Property is large enough to walk around, even fish the river that abuts the property. The Lodge was established in the late 1950s, I think. I enjoyed listening to the ducks at night, fishing during the day and just walking about at sunset. There is a open lawn close to the river on Lodge property that's a great place to watch the sun go down.
Cons: Standard queen rooms are small, really small. You can hear the people talk or TV from the rooms next to you. The walls likely don't have any soundproofing due to the age of the Lodge.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location, it was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly, nice yard and picnic area.
Cons: The rooms need a/c. It gets really warm in a little tiny room with one window. And opening the window lets in light and noise, and only helps a little.

Pros: Kitchen was well supplied for cooking.
Cons: No AC... it got pretty hot. The beds were extremely hard. Hard bed and hot temp made for uncomfortable night’s sleep. Housekeeping came around and traded out dirty towels daily, it other than that there was no cleaning in our room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Super clean , a n d very comfortable .took 4 grandkids
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything great. One thing to make stay more enjoyable is hang a couple of hummingbird feeders on balcony. Leave some hummingbird feed in room and I’m sure guests would have no problem refilling feeder.
Cons: Charge by the person not the room. Our 11 year old son was charged extra and slept on sofa.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great Location
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was quiet; it was very clean. I was on the street side but really did not mind the traffic, which calmed down almost entirely after about 11pm. The bed was comfortable and the rooms were quite adequate for my needs. Great vantage point for the July 4 parade.
Cons: It was a little hot inside, even with windows open at night. (The ceiling fans helped.) I was disturbed by the yellow jackets and wasps outside and I could not sit on the deck because of them. It is a little far from the center of town, but if you want to be close to the ski lift it would be fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and cleanliness
Cons: Beds could have been a little more comfortable
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean
Cons: Room 501 on street...lot of noice
10.0 Excellent

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed.
Cons: Taos ski valley is changing.this hotel and stray dog is all that is left of chill Taos vibe. Enjoy before it's gone
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice facility.
Cons: Before the construction of new facility outside our balcony the views would have been wonderful! But now all you see is a new building being built. Can no longer see slopes and the mountains.
6.8 Good
Pros: Staff was super friendly and the location was neat.
Cons: Our room was 80+ degrees though it was 45 degrees outside at night. We couldn't get any circulation in the room, as only one window opened with a screen. There weren't enough outlets to put the fan on in a convenient place. When we booked the room it said there was a pull out bed but there wasn't. The entire room was tiny and only had one full size mattress, not a queen as advertised. We left at 5:30 AM because we couldn't sleep through the heat.
6.3 Good
Pros: The view
Cons: Did not expect to have to climb a ladder to get to my bed, banged my shoulder and bruised it, wish the staff would of let us know what room we were getting right when we checked in. Too old to climb
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful. Great location. Large, clean, comfortable room. Perfect stay.
Cons: N/A
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was fabulous. Very quiet & lovely breakfast.
Cons: This hotel is a little "hokey" because the whole hotel is decorated with bears, and I mean everything. If you like sophisticated hotels this is not it. The Blake may be better for this. The children may love the bears.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location and concept.
Cons: Congested and a bit rundown

Cons: Our hotel was away from the main building. about 1 mile away
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to all activities including walking to lifts. Staff was terrific. Very helpful with check in and how best to save money on events.

Cons: No air conditioning...very poor WiFi reception. Only a few electrical outlets: two in the kitchen/living room area (one behind the microwave and one behind the stove) one in the bedroom between the beds. Two fans were provided, but still very hot.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming & roomy accommodations. We could walk to everything. The staff is super friendly.
Cons: It is a little dated and the only TV was in the bedroom, plus the bedroom had no door on it. But for the price paid, it was great.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy to find, easy walking to downtown shops, park, grocery store and restaurants. The manager was friendly and helpful providing literature on events offered during our visit. A nice mini fridge, microwave and full coffee pot was extra convenient.
Cons: Found multiple strands of long dark hair plastered to the bath tub wall, nasty! Cleaned ourselves as had immediate plans. On the second evening until check out we had a crying baby and dog barking next door. One side of mattress was sunken/uncomfortable.
Angel Fire Resort - Angel Fire - Building

7.4 Good
Pros: Staff was excellent
Cons: Room was very warm and had to cool it with fans. The patio door was accessible to all adjoining rooms on the floor with no way to secure it unless it was closed.
2.8 Mediocre
Pros: Location and kids ski school
Cons: Old dirty hotel, unprofessional staff, housekeeping was spotty and kept leaving our door wide open. Furnishings were dirty and old, sometimes broken. Full priced activities and hotel fees even with limited activities due to no snow. Activities were not safe (tubing accident and injury to several people bc snow melted the birm and safety netting was insecure, staff slow to respond and not helpful. Frustrating experience, we will not return. Do not recommend this place.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely helpful. The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable, and the room was very large.
Cons: It was August 21 and No air at all in the room! I understand that these were built for ski season however the developer / builder did not install any air at all in the rooms. The room we were given was on the 3rd floor near the pool atrium and it gives off a lot of heat/ humidity. I and my co-traveler both were very warm & it was 'stuffy', and were surprised to find no fan/ air installed in the room. We live at 7,000 ft. elevation so we understand higher elevation nights i.e. opening the windows to cool the room off so when I called the front desk he tried to explain the concept to me. I insisted on a fan being brought up. When the employees brought up 2 fans (Hajelujiah!) they said they were "short on fans because everyone was asking for them". Hmmmm. Even a ceiling fan would work better than nothing....
4.2 Okay
Pros: Location is good. Right on the mountain. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Wifi was horrid. You connect and it disconnects you after 5 minutes. Room had leaky bathtub faucet. No air conditioning. Was more like an upscale Motel 6 - so way overpriced for what you get. Horrible policy regarding using the lift tickets for biking. Full day is $35. But came near the end of the day, with an hour left, and they wanted to charge the full day amount. This is unlike any ski area where at the very minimum they will give you a half day and within an hour of closing, they will give you a decent price (like $10) - this was free money to them be charging the minimum because the lifts still run, with out without me. Stay away from Angel Fire if you value your wallet.
5.1 Okay
Pros: The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly.
Cons: First off, no air conditioning. The light switch in both of our rooms didn't work when you walk in. Lighting is only from lamps in three random locations leaving it dark and creepy at all times. Bathroom light doesn't extend into the shower. No exhaust fan. Take a shower in the dark. Everything is maintained just enough to keep it in operation, original fixtures and carpet from... the 80's? SHOCKED that they can call this a 'resort.' Will never return here.
5.1 Okay
Pros: Large rooms and comfy bed.
Cons: Even in the middle of summer, there was no hot water., not even lukewarm. Very outdated rooms with no deadbolts on the doors
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful, the restaurant was a good spot to eat at and the overall stay was good.
Cons: Rooms desperately need to be updated.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Location.
Cons: They did not have my reservation in the system so it was an extra delay getting into the room. The room felt like a low budget dorm room with Windows that didn't lock without screens and no A/C.

9.7 Excellent
Cons: I didn’t realize the rooms were not air conditioned. The room had a ceiling fan and an electric fan. The summer nights are cool in Red River but one night it was a little stuffy, the next night was fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All staff was very nice and friendly. Loved how it was close to EVERYTHING. Parking was awesome. I cant even make my self think of a complaint. We had a blast on our 23rd Anniversary. Couldn't of found a better place to stay. WE WILL BE BACK!
Cons: Nothing I loved every thing about it.
3.5 Mediocre
Cons: Desk clerk greeted us with an angry “we don’t take reservations”. She tried to get us to leave. She was angry and nasty. I showed her our paid confirmation and she admitted we had a reservation. She informed us that the promised music in the bar would not show up. The place was old and run down. Room was tiny, no room for the bed or movement. Uncomfortable overpriced facility. Restaurant was a serious disappointment, poor quality, not tasty, chincy accompaniments, uncomfortable seating, bad news, overpriced. Long wait for dinner with many seats available. Poorly managed facility.

3.3 Mediocre
Cons: One of the beds were broken. The box springs were shot so the bed would tip back and forth as you moved around. The place was dirty and over priced. I feel it should have been 60 a night. If I could get any refund? It would be greatly appreciate.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet and peaceful. The Staff was friendly and helpful. It's location is perfect for anything in the Angel fire area. I'll definitely be staying here again for future business trips.

Pros: Staff was friendly Breakfast was awesome Good Location
Cons: Closed too early No Guest laundry
5.4 Okay
Pros: It offered a good breakfast and a nice view. The owners were very nice. But the lady that worked morning shift on August 15 was very rude to not only us but another guy staying there. She either needs a new job or a good disciplinary session on customer service.
Cons: The beds were awful, even the kids backs hurt after one night.
7.1 Good
Pros: Was easy to locate and get to, Close to everything.
Cons: No AC, No Fan, You can feel the springs in your back and some bad enough you got poked.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was beautiful and staff, ie was very accommodating.
Cons: Older property, some hardware needed some work.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very rustic, great location and views of mtns and lake. Staff was very friendly and accommodating!
Cons: Bathtub was cracked and slippery. Ice machine was not working. No refrigerator or microwave.
5.4 Okay
Pros: New manager did everything to make stay as pleasant as he could. Borrowed a coffee maker and used his microwave. A real prince. Hope to have it upgraded by October.
Cons: Newly purchased, they had stripped the rooms of microwave and fridge. Internet barely worked and NO air or ability to open a window.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was high point of day. The views from floor 2 were good. Windows were well designed for the cool nights and warm days.
Cons: Smoke smell still in room from previous tenants
7.5 Good
Cons: Mix the waffle batter throughly, put a small refrigerator in all units, for the physically challenged having the ice machine upstairs meant we couldn’t have ice since the office is closed. The office was empty when we arrived.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Staff were friendly and that is the only good thing good about it
Cons: There was no air condition, no fridge and no microwave and it was not comfortable sleeping when it is hot at night.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was fair. Location was very good and beautiful surroundings.
Cons: Remotes for TV did not work. No AC and cracked window would not open. No place to eat in the town. (Not the motel's fault.)
6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good.
Cons: Bed was too firm. No coffee maker in room. No microwave, no refrigerator. Second day our bed wasn't made, first time I've ever had that happen. Door was very hard to open, had to swipe card several times and jerk the door handle hard to get in.
