Quiet village location; friendly & helpful staff; comfortable beds; good bathroom; good breakfast Narrow, twisting staircase to rooms - struggled to get case and baby's carrycot upstairs; take CASH....hotel machine had trouble with all our credit and debit cards - had to go and find an atm to be able to pay bill.
beds were wonderfully comfortable, the rooms large , bathrooms great. Good breakfast Both rooms were a bit noisy in the morning, but staff listened. pillows odd, Check out was earlyish. The stairs were narrow and a bit steep; they could have posed a problem
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The cooking in the restaurant is quite good. The location is lovely in the middle of a historic riverside village. The staff was very attentive and efficient.
The room was incredibly spacious and well appointed, even had coffee making facilities (presumably for the British!). Staff were very helpful and friendly and even made us a packed lunch for the day!
Very nice hotel with superb service and outstanding hospitality, completed with an excellent restaurant. Altogether great value for money. Ideal location to explore surrounding area and Maastricht.
Individually designed rooms, very welcoming staff
Friendly staff, very close to the highway, room spacious enough Bring your hair dryer with you...
Freindly staff, old room and buildings but nice and cozy. Placed in a very nice small dutch village. very quiet and still close to highway.
A hotel with a nice atmosphere. Clean linen. Good breakfast with a very good coffee..
Nice and small hotel for one night stay. Breakfast was very rich and tasty. The room was spacious and looked like a castle room. Nice design. There was a loud noise from the pub downstairs.
Extremely friendly couple, smallish but very comfortable rooms, new bathrooms. The town is quite lovely on its own and it also has good access to Liege and Maastricht. (Recommend La Meuse for evening dining!). Very quaint place that's good value for money and even gives the chance to sample some great beers at a reasonable price. Child- friendly too.
Excellent service, comfort, bus connection to city centre, and value
friendly and helpful staff
breakfast and free goodies
convenient hotel, cleanliness, very friendly staff, great food rooms doors are slamming.
The hotel itself is fine, and the location is great if you need to be cloe to the MECC. The hotel is horribly under-staffed, so the simplest transaction (do you have a pen I could use for a moment?) takes at least 10 minutes. Check-in took 30 minutes because there was only one person on the front desk, apparently even at the busiest times. When I asked if there was an ATM machine close by, the woman at reception answered, "I don't know. I don't use them." When I had to come to obtain a new pass key card because the first didn't work, I had to wait in line (again for over 10 minutes). Once I reached the front, it took 2 seconds to get the new card. If you value time or service, this is certainly not the hotel for you.
The breakfast was great, lots of fresh products, we even skipped lunch after all. Also the beds and pillows were very good; slept like a baby :-). It was a pity that the room didn't have a bathtub, just a shower was available.
It is good to reach by car. The breakfast has a lot of choice. The room was old and dirty. You have to pay for the use of extras like wifi, fitness and sauna. The first night our tv was broken and they promised us a new one. The next night we still had the old broken tv which was then, finally, replaced but this one couldnt be switched of the standby. The scrumbled eggs at the breakfast were cold. After we told the waiter, it was solved and new eggs were delivered.
quiet yet good location
Location is bad. Out of the city with no services (bars, restaurants, etc.) around. The staff was not helpful. The internet is really bad. Take only rooms with breakfast included because it will be impossible to have breakfast close to the hotel.
The attitude of the receptionist was not becoming of the warm Spanish reputation of the hotel...
Cleanliness of the room and design of the room The hotel is actually far away from the centre. On booking.com, it said that it is 10 minutes to the centre, at the front desk said 25 minutes. It was also written that the hotel is right outside the centre, while you have to take the train to get to the town. I changed the hotel and chose a hotel right in the center and enjoyed my stay in Maastricht a lot anyway, despite of the bad experience with NH.
They know well what hospitality means and they are generous in on-the-house offerings. We were glad to get little extras that we weren't expecting. The pillows were not comfortable to sleep on, and the promised double bed was in fact two twins put together.
The staff were very welcoming. All the staff were polite and helpful. The babysitter was excellent and the service allowed us some free time. The hotel was well situated and the history of the hotel made it an interesting place to stay. Parking instructions could be made clearer on the hotel's web page.
Breakfast and service
Very central, easy to find from the train station and close to all we need.
Great value for money and good location, underground parking close by. A cosey hotel with good staff I will stay again.
Location was perfect for a city trip. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was far better than what we had expected! And the bowls with sweets next to the reception :o) The room had not been aerated before we came and it was a little bit stuffy. After aerating it for 15 minutes it was all good. Given we were told that the rooms were being checked when we arrived and that we therefore couldn't check-in yet, I would have expected that rooms would also be aerated. We had a room on the third floor and the hall in front of the elevator had a very strong smell. It's not a big downside but a little annoyance when you are waiting for the lift and when you get out of it.
nice location, nice breakfast, fun atmosphere, rooms ok
The feeling of hospitality in the Mabi hotel is great. In the afternoon there is complimentary coffee/tea and cake and in the evening wine and snacks. This means that everybody does use the 'salon' and that improves the atmosphere. The artwork in the hotel is great. I would stay again and recommend others to do so.
Friendly helpful staff, good selection of food at breakfast. It is 13 euro but buffet style so eat all you want. Free wireless internet a big plus. No restaurant but several within 2 minutes walk. Comfortable bed in a room that was certainly large enough for a solo traveler. Hotel is on a quiet street close to several Maastricht attractions. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again. No heat in the private bathroom. No air conditioning (could be a factor in the summer).
Room was perfect, very comfortable, very clean. Slightly boring, but hey, your typical hotel room. Staff was very nice and the hotel is in a really great location. I think for the price of a single stay it's expensive since breakfast is not included. All hotels in Maastricht are expensive, I know (why, I wonder), but I thing it's a bit too much. Not even tea facilities in your room? City tax applied on top of the price etc etc.
Wonderful, cosy, very unusual, friendly family like atmosphere. Everybody is smiling. I have not had such great hotel experience in a long time. Perfect breakfast, with wide selection of food and beverages. Lots of small, friendly and very hospitable ideas. We came from Belgium after two days - what a contrast. Don't ask me about Belgian hospitability... Nothing. I beg the hotel management and staff: please continue to do what you are doing for long! :))
Nice bathroom and very reasonable bed. Located 1 minute from the train station and in the city center. Medium size room, which was really too small. Wonder how a small room looks like. Room was almost empty with a very cold atmosphere. Lift was slow and service so-so.
The manner of sitting togehter on long tables at breakfast. Warm soup. mattres was far to smoth
the soup as we arrived The lighting in the room is very poor and the bathroom fixures are adjusted for tall people, which makes it hard for shorter people to use comfortably
The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. The table setting for breakfast was like a youth hostel. One long table with chairs very close to each other. It was absolutely uncomfortable.
The lobby was very comfortable and the staff was very accommodating. The room was somewhat crowded with furniture and decoration items. More room to open up large suitcase is needed.
clean, contemporary hotel. Close to station. Friendly staff. Price was within my budget. There was construction going on while I was there and the room felt like it was completed the day before because you could still smell the fresh wood.
good location, nice and clean. room was very small - large bed, so not much space around it!
Quirky, idiosynchratic hotel with a unique ambiance. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Very close to the station and near the city centre. The vending machine was out of order during the two days of our stay. Lack of toilet rolls. No bedside table.
comfortable room, large bathroom, very good breakfast, easy parking no coffee maker in the room, staff a little bit unpleasant
The lobby was nice. I wanted to have two days with sauna to relax. You offered the hotel with sauna but I had no saune. Than I found pornojournals in the room.I Asked coming from shower to bring me batteries for the tv guidance- the personal told me to wear clothes and come down myself! No water on the room, no minibar and no sauna!
Excelent bar with very good staff. Reception efficient and friendly for both check-in and check-out
The staff was great, quiet room, had a very nice stay. too far from centrum to reasonably walk.
Breakfast was excellent! The lack of a fridge in the standard rooms is annoying
Very helpful staff, although not too knowledgable about the neighbourhood. It was quite dusty.
The hotel facilities and the room are nice and the hotel is very clean. Free parking. It is a bit far from the city centre. No problem if you have a car (the hotel has a free parking) but it can be annoying if you don't. The wireless connection in the hotel was not free - no big deal but rather unusual.
Check-in: friendly, professional. Room and bathroom large, spotlessly clean. Breakfast: wonderful, at 12.50 Euro value for money. Free parking is nice. Would stay there again. It is about 45 minutes walking from downtown, and taxis not always available quickly. For us, walking was no problem, but may be for those who prefer to be closer to the touristy part of Maastricht.
That I was able to have diner even at 20.30 in the Bar.
Good hotel, spacious bathroom. Friendly staff.
very clean and comfortable, nice environment, reasonable price it is too far away from the city centre and there is no supermarket/restaurant nearby, there is a bus which stops in front of the hotel but it only goes every half an hour
Extremely beautiful hotel. Helpful and friendly staff.
it is location .. close to city center .. and it is breakfast buffet very good ..
Excellent location. Clean rooms. Good quality shampoo etc. Not very good value for money. The hotel is fine, but overpriced. I found the bedsheets to be tough. Bathroom could do with an upgrade. For this price I don't expect a loose toilet seat.
The location of the hotel
The bed and bath was fabulous! Our room wasn't ready when we arrived.
Location to town centre Cost of internet too high. Many hotels now offer free internet access
the people were most accomodating. Excellent service and a wonderful attitude ! in general, hotels in Europe are quite expensive in comparison to US hotels.
Location To much noise from breakfeast area in the room
Great (&fast & efficient) reception & welcome; parking excellent; room comfy & cosy None
The view from the hotel was amazing
The hotel was fine for the (advertised) price and the location was spot on. I booked a compact room at a specific price, when I arrived I was told "we have given you a room upgrade",however when I came to checkout and pay, I was told that the upgrade was not free and I had to pay extra. I never requested or even wanted an upgrade.
the rooms were too expensive for what it was, very small room without any luxurey and I paid €200/night including parking excl. breakfast. I was very dissapointed.
Location, distance to center and parking The room was small (only 1m around the bed) and gave a cramped feeling (no view). Room & Bathroom were clean, but basic, and nothing special. Even though we booked "just" a standard room, we expected more from a design hotel and for that price
The design of the hotel
Friendlyness of staff, design more light in the room to read a book, place to write and use laptop
Room on the ground floor with window on an alley were people talk and smoke at night. Really not what you would expect for a "design" and rather expansive hotel. A lot of signature and approbation for every single thing you need in th hotel, very slow and unefficient. Anything above 50 Euro a night is too expensive in my opinion.
The room was nice and the bed was good. I liked tha the windows could be opene, as I'm not a lover of airco The (private) bathroom of this specific (compact) room was across the corridor. You had to move between bed & bathroom with 2 cardkeys. Never have experienced that before!
It's location and a very comfortable bed. The modern design of the Hotel meant that there was no dressing table and no wardrobe. The sliding door to the bathroom with it's 24cm gap above the floor seemed strange.
The Hastens bed the very noisy a/c in the room.
the decor and design the cleanliness
Staff always pleasant - food good Only one english TV channel and old style TVs that you get interference from your phone on every few minutes
Excellent location, being good for both the city centre and the train station. Good bar and restaurant. Standard of the deluxe room was good. Bonus was the hotel swimming pool. Reception area is a little on the shabby side (although the other common areas are reasonable).
The ability to enjoy some peace and quiet - I slept well after a nerve-wracking previous month! Probably the requirement to pay at the end. No free rooms, damn it!
Comfortable bed, good bathroom, fully equipped bedroom (bureau, wardrobe, lounge chairs, tea & coffee etc) - all I would expect in a hotel room. Decor is minimal but functionality is complete. Quiet decor - no self-conscious tacky "designer" rubbish that one sees too often these days. Ideal location for train, city centre and business. Warm, friendly, helpful staff. This is a place where one can rest or work in comfort. I have stayed here before and will stay here again. This time I was here on business but my wife also joined me, and is full of praise for the place. What's not to like? (Note for below questions: I have not read the guest reviews but there is no "Don't know" response button. So I have put "Yes".) In "reason for choosing", I would pick all of them, so have entered "other".
Hotel rooms were of good size and clean breakfast was expensive and average
Dinner and the excellent service Checking out was difficult as the noon deadline was not flexible. My wife had to clear out and wait elsewhere for me to return from my meeting.
Room was excellent - nicely appointed and very comfortable. The restaurant was empty - was this a piblic statement or because of the atrocious weather? Limited menu.
Proximity of the train station no value for the money. Too much noice from the bus station. Outdated room interior.
Location, parking lot, rooms were comfortable enough Rooms and rest of the hotel were not really in-line with eachother. Rooms surprisingly updated, rest of the hotel was slightly out-dated
The location was very convenient botht to the main railway station and the town center. Parking facilities were good and the hotel was esy to locate. The room was equipped with a refrigerator for personal use. Rather inefficient. We waited for several hours for room service to dry clothes. Later we were dealy 20 mins. since we could not exit the underground carpark. The breakfast is extremely expensive. The room lacked storage for clothes. There were a few draws but no cupboards with shelves to allow you to unpack for a longer stay.
The staff were very helpful and the small touches were lovely - fresh fruit and cakes in the lobby were very nice. The breakfast selection was good. The location was great and there was lots of information about nearby restaurants. The room we stayed in wasn't quite as clean as it could have been, i dropped something on the floor that rolled under the bed - wasn't very pleasant to say the least!!!
Breakfast was good; very nice and helpful staff; room was clean and quite large which made me feel like i'm in a house and not hotel (nice feeling) Beware that some rooms are in the second building across the road (10 meters apart) and for some people it might be inconvenient. Personally, we didn't have problem with that
The location. And the bed was good. We arrived later Friday. At first we got an awful room. No views and it was as if you were standing in the kitchen itself. After some discussion we got another room which was much better. I don´t understand though that they ask the same rate for such different rooms.
Good location, good breakfast. Was a little bit too cold. No air condition.
great breakfast, great position in city. we love the room with a comfortable terrace. almost nothing, only the temperature inside the room at check-in, too much cold. But it is quickly heated.
Room comfortable and stylish, fabulous evening meal in the restaurant, and excellent breakfast food Very busy at breakfast, felt a bit like a canteen
Good price and very friendly staff Rooms a little bit noisy
Perfect location for visiting Maastricht. Right next to the Saturday flea market.
Breakfast and location of the hotel Reception from the staff was poor and no hospitality, hotelparking was full I should have made a reservation for the parking, no suggestions from the staff, I had to ask for other options to park. Further the minibar : only 2 bottles of water nothing more (if you make advertisement with a minibar than it must be full in my idea.)
Hotel was close and cheap, rooms were comfortable. Two chambermaids walked into our room without knocking !!
Location in city center The breakfast on sunday was really crowded
good breakfast, nice reception, excellent location small rooms
room had strange smell, very loud noises throughout night, room was dirty, have stayed in better 1* rooms,1 very rude member of staff,no way a 4* let alone 4*deluxe,i even cut my holiday 1 day short because of this place, take your money & custom elsewhere
uncomplicated to expensive for what you get
the food and the easy walk to the shops beds were to hard
to have room with one big bed
confort and wireless facilities
Closeness to main square and facilities Restaurant food in the evening is not of a great standard
Easy to find and park nearby, friendly staff, good breakfast. I think they could supply more in bathroom shampoos etc.
Very convenient. Easy to get to, on the main square and within range of many restaurants and shops. Maastricht is a very interesting town and there is a lot to see. The staff is friendly and helpful and the hotel is definitely unique The first room we were shown was very small and dark. We upgraded for E20 per night to a larger room which was (unfortunately) facing the main square and noisy. The lighting in all rooms is not very good--we found it difficult to read.
Friendly staff- excellent central location but quiet. Charges for extras- parking ,internet and breakfast very steep.
Friendly and helpfull staff. Big room and quiet. We liked the old world charm of the building and the marlbe decore. It was hot at the time (the hotel is not airconditioned) and the staff installed for us an oscillating fan. No
rooms on plaza very loud at night due to restaurants under windows- windows did not seal well
Yes it was sufficient, the hotel is in a great, very convenient location. The breakfast was great and the lady who served it was lovely! The beds were comfortable. My room was on the street side it was very noisy which made my jet lag last longer than it should have, but I was moved thankfully. Some of the concierges (a younger fellow) didn't know much about the city, they should know everything there is to know about Maastricht, Cleaning service should remove dirty coffee/wine cups every day.
the room was clean, comfortable and had a balcony also very good central locationm in the city it would be nice to have tea and coffee making facilites in the room, rather than just at reception
Breakfast is not great.
Breakfast OK, display a bit amateuristic
The location is unbeatable. Staff was friendly. Room always seemed to be thoroughly cleaned. We thought it was odd that there were no face cloths in the bathroom, just paper towels.
The view from the dining room window and the two lovely ladies who ensured we had the best "seat in the house" every morning!
everything was amazing. I love it! room service and valet parking service too expensive.
Very nice room, decoration of the hotel, nice ambiance, unique hotel as it is a renovated old monastery, walking distance from the city's centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was ready when we arrived and were able to check in from 12 instead of 15 which is the official check in time. The baby cot was already in the room, together with baby blankets, towel, baby cleaning staff, etc., which was a nice surprise compared to the service of other hotels with regards to baby cots. One night, we were late to eat at the restaurant and ordered room service. The quality of the room-service food was not at all equal to the standards of everything else in the hotel. I would say more like a fast-food.
Evening meal and attentive bar staff. Amazing hotel experience The breakfast was very, very poor for 24 euro's each. So bad we didn't stay after looking at the offerings
nice spacy room with unique interior. Good beds, excellent breakfast Staff was relatively junior for the service standards - compared to many hotels I see accross Europe
It is a magnificent architectural experience. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff very professional.
The atmosphere of the hotel is unique: modern design that tastefully blends with the old monastery and church. Also, the location is just about perfect: an easy 5 minute walk from the Vrijthof, it is just outside the center. Excellent ambiance for a special occassion or if you are used to comfort and taste. The restaurant is excellent as well, with an amuse-approach that has you spend an extended evening enjoying and talking. In two words: go there!
The design. It's really awesome to see how they build in the church a beautiful design hotel The price for one night stay of € 275 including parking (€ 30) and without breakfast (€ 27 for one person) is much to high for what you get.
We were overwhelmed by the warmth of the welcome. We had seen on Booking.com that the hotel had four stars, but actually it's a five-star hotel, and this was evident from the moment we arrived. The service was superb, the building is a work of art, the rooms were spacious, elegant and very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely. We didn't actually want to leave the hotel to go sight-seeing, we were so happy there. We did go out, of course, but we were glad to be coming back to such a lovely, welcoming place. There is nothing we did not like about this hotel.
The excellent renovation of the church, keeping the cultural heritage for the City and the people of Maastricht and other visitors. The personnel was very professional and helpful and was thinking of those 'little things' which you normally do not expect. The room in which we stayed was not very well divided: the bathroom too small for two people, the hallway too big, glass doors that were in each other's way, no space around the bed etc etc. A compromise of interior architecture and use of the room which did bring a positive result for the visitor. As we stay and dine a lot with the Oostwegel group, this way a bit of a disappointment for our first visit to Kruisherenhotel.
convenience to the vrijhof, the room was comfortable and clean, staff was very accomodating and friendly For the price, there was no workout facilities or sauna/spa or rooftop terrace where we could look out over the city. Breakfast should have been included with the room rate and there was no option for a la carte for dinner.
Relaxing in the SPA, enjoying healthy food and visiting the village. Carpet on the floor. The room was clean but the terrace was dirty. Staff not always responding to the client's needs. Old fashion rooms and bed not really confortable.
it is a wellness hotel which means you relax and enjoy the tropical surroundings, warm water and spa treatments
February is a quiet month in which you can enjoy all the water and heat in a very comfortable way. Themae 2000 is build on a beautiful spot, it supplies views and it is surrounded with some impressive big trees. The building is a great design and the sauna's are among the best in the lowlands! The system with a keycard for the door and a paper card with your roomnumber for the restaurant does not work. You have to take both into the spa. Apparently the staff is working on this problem. I hope they will develop or purchase a system with a wristband or a pin that opens your door and can be used in the restaurants and does not show your roomnumber. I don't get it why you have to get dressed when you want to be into the swimmingpool area.
The Spa and hotel facilities all under one roof
Wonderful facilities, efficient staff and good food. We have been going to Thermae 2000 for 5 years and it has never disappointed. Much better than equivalent British spas.
Everything was wonderful, we enjoyed hanging out in our pool-bath robes. It was a very relaxing get-a-away. Staff was great. We will return
It was very busy and could have used more staff on duty, some staff in the restaurant areas could be a bit friendlier, although others were very good. would be nice to also have hot water pool on the 'sauna' side
Love going to breakfast in a robe and not putting on real clothes the entire stay! Liked being able to use spa, robe and towel even after check out.
A very comfortable hotel with a fantastic breakfast
clean, calm and relaxed nature of the hotel and facilities. Not being able to make a tea or coffee in the rooms.
gardens, buildings, rooms, restaurants, staff, setting in the countryside, all excellent. no
spa facilities and the luxurious feeling of the room (we got an upgrade to a suite appartment) two barking dogs in the room next to us
Your booking.com reservation did not come through: there was none! What happened with the reservation?
Large junior apartment suite was well furnished, including well equipped kitchenette. Grounds were nicely done and provided a very peaceful setting. "King bed" was really 2 twin beds stuck together.
Nice environment Nice dining room Good food Room is not confortable Old fashioned Too dark
excellent renovation and architecture, very nice surroundings the hotel could use a full time concierge. the information given by the receptionists was not accurate, and kind of ruined our night (wanted to go to valkenburg christmas opening and told us that it was not open. Stayed in the hotel and missed the opening of the Christmas fair and the fireworks)
The apartments were well appointed, restaurant excellent, and the grounds beautiful. A bit of an effort to get to without a car, although the shuttle service to Maastricht station was very welcome. Staff very helpful and attentive. Also very interesting with St Gerlach's chapel and museum on the grounds. Stairs in the apartment were quite steep, if you are at all incapacitated ask for a ground floor room.
great staff, always willing to help with even the most ridiculous requests...bistro dinner and buffet breakfasts were great
The junior suite was a private as your own appartment Nothing
The grounds and the facilities were beautiful. I would have liked the breakfast to be included in the price of the room.
Large, comfortable rooms; free internet access in the lobby Breakfast expensive
The ambience of the hotel is very relaxed and friendly
Good location. Easy commute to city center. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Nice place for pets also.
Staff very helpful. Minibus into town was very good. Hotel comfortable and food acceptable.
Clean room and friendly staff Nothing special
Easy access Roomfacilities weren't all available.
the child area was interesting - the children liked it the bedroom was clean, but the corridor at 4th floor smelled - probably carpets need to be changed
cleanliness, staff very friendly and food was superb no
Play area for small children; video games for older ones. Excellent and extensive breakfast buffet in a beautiful setting.
Anytime I had a question the staff was always ready to help and get things fixed immediately.
the spa and the swiming pool room to small, no internet conection, a bit rundown
Really nothing Very applicable!!A misearable room,no services, old and weary towels,no tissues paper,no room service.Maybe can be considered as two star hotel!!!!
swimming pool over priced for the quality of the room
Swimming pool/spa While in a non-smoking room, the corridor we had to use to get to our room stunk of cigerette/cigar smoke.
The reception staff is helpful. There is no refrigerator and smoking smell in non-smoking room.
Swimmingpool is very nice.Breakfest was excellent. Familyrooms for stay with children. Why did you not mention that slippers and bathrobe are obligatory and that you have to pay 12 € to rent it.Idem parking 5€ per night
convenient location and excellent breakfast. Room was comfortable. Carpets in corridors were not clean, room was a bit dusty. Ridiculous price for internet connection. The whole place apart from restaurant needs tidying up, and perhaps re-design.
Location excellent None
This hotel was awesome. My family and I stayed in a family room that was pefect. It was close to downtown, the shopping, and the Christmas Markets. The staff is very friendly and most speak multiple languages. Breakfast Buffett was also good and worth the 12.5 pp. The restaraunt is very pricey.....plan to eat diner else where if you are looking for value.
the room we were upgraded to was excellent, the receptionist who delt with our complaint about the original room was excellent. the room we were given to begin with was way below standard and if we had had to stay in that room and not have the option of upgrading it would have turned a very good stay into a very bad one
Spacious room, comfortable 2m long beds Frequency of nearby public transport (bus 51) dropped from 30 min to 1 hour service after ca 9pm.
Meeting people who were also stuck therefor their sins. Breakfast bread was good. Most of the xperience
The cleanness and friendly staff. Also the free bus shuffle to town and the taxi deal was brilliant for going to town and back
The location of the hotel was in accoradance to my needs. The unfriendly hotel personel at the reception desk.
Friendliness of reception staff The hotel advertises pay for view TV this wasnt working in my room but I didnt speak to reception about this.
We liked everything; lovely room, great staff, ample facilities, safe / secure location and a great breakfast choice. [Please mail me the guide to other Golden Tulip hotels]. Nothing to dislike.
The friendly staff and the pool table. There was no swimming pool and the work out room was very small.
I booked two nights on line and was charged 62-30 euros per night & when I decided to stay another night which I asked for on first day of stay .so when I came to check out they charged me 79 euros for the extra night which I found a little steep!
The service was excellent. The aircon in the room was too noisy and not working so well.
We really enjoyed the breakfast, especially during the weekend Disappointed with the service at front desk, had to ask 3 times if our rooms could be on the same floor before she said yes; wanted to charge us breakfast for the children even though our bookings said it was free for them,; booked taxi and it was a group taxi with 15 people in it, so I arrived late at my meeting.
Breakfast. Above all, decoration.
